KoolBa is very high on the list of great Indian Restaurants in Glasgow. Indian food can be on the heavy side but at KoolBa it is generous portions, fresh and light without losing any of the flavours. The menu has all the usual favourites and a good number of slightly different dishes. The staff are first class and the surroundings are very comfortable. I highly recommend.

A fun restaurant with interesting decor and menu themed around thinking and philosophy. We were able to get a table pretty quickly (only a 5 minute wait) despite it being a busy evening. The food was delicious and had lovely service too.

Took my parents for an anniversary dinner. Lovely meal and great service from Laura. A pleasant dining experience was had by all.

AMAZING food & lovely staff! Also this is the only toilet point if you're doing Ben Nevis.

Rather expensive even for Edinburgh and especially ridiculous portions

Great service and attention to our varied questions. Tasty food and refreshing beer, just what we were after post a visit to the Castle. Top notch hospitality and thoroughly enjoyable.

Simply the best Italian in Glasgow, if not Scotland

The best pizzeria in Scotland. Gerardo the owner great person. In addition to the pizza I recommend the meatballs in sauce.

The pizza is still tasty but I felt more ( as the Americans would say) nickel and dimed. To explain- the place was once cheap and cheerful. Now, however, 3 of us spent £120 for a pizza each, 2 starters between the 3 of us, one cocktail and one glass of wine each. Example of a slightly greedy approach...£2.50 extra for a wee pot of garlic mayo which is just too much. House wine now £25 per bottle. So go by all means but your bill will mount up unless you have only a Margherita pizza and a glass of water and who is going to do that!!??

While in Edinburgh, there were many restaurants we wanted to try, but after the plentiful restaurant provided at our hotel, we were not hungry at lunch time, and only ate dinner later in the day. We stopped here for a bite around lunch time, and to try a couple different whiskies. We got a smoked salmon toast and the fried sneakers bar with ice cream, along with our whisky. Great atmosphere. The salmon was very good. We'll definitely visit this place again on a future trip to Edinburgh!

Great place for diner. Very friendly people, very good food. Had the Haggis and that was very good. Ideal if you want to try haggis.
