Food was nice and the service was great! Waiter Nico and one of the waitresses who i didnt catch the name of were absolutely lovely and so kind, would defo come back

Excellent pizza, and reasonably priced. Didn't have to wait too long to get a seat on hogmanay as well

Saturday night was an hour wait for a table but we got takeaway in 10 minutes. The pizza is delicious. The guy taking orders was very nice and the kitchen was very efficient at getting those takeaway orders out!

Mi hermana y yo estábamos en un tour en grupo (viajó a Escocia desde los Estados Unidos) y este lugar nos lo recomendó nuestro guía turístico. Estábamos allí un martes por la noche, pero parecía un viernes por la noche. El restaurante estaba lleno - sin duda una buena señal. Aunque el lugar estaba ocupado, estábamos sentados enseguida. Justo después de eso, una mujer nos saludó y tomó nuestro pedido de bebidas. Un minuto después, llegaron vasos y nuestras bebidas embotelladas. Un momento después de eso apareció nuestro servidor. No podía creer lo rápido que fuimos abordados en un restaurante claramente bullicioso. Nuestro servidor envió nuestras preguntas como le dijimos que nunca habíamos estado allí antes. Nos ofreció sugerencias y nos habló de los especiales. La pizza llegó a nuestra mesa en cinco minutos. Y para aclarar, esto no es un "lugar de pizza" como se podría pensar en los Estados Unidos. No es un lugar en el que corres y tomas comida para llevar, estoy seguro de que puedes, pero esa no es la vibra. Este es un restaurante luminoso y acogedor, pero el ajetreo es muy parecido a un lugar para llevar. Todo se movió rápidamente, pero nunca nos sentimos apresurados mientras estábamos comiendo. Nuestro servidor se registró para ver si necesitábamos algo más. Me preguntó si nos gustaba la pizza. Definitivamente. Ni mi hermana ni yo habíamos probado nunca este estilo de pizza. Irónicamente la primera vez que lo intentamos fue en Escocia. ¿Quién sabe? Sinceramente, desearíamos haber conseguido el nombre de nuestro servidor porque era muy amable y acogedor con nosotros. Nos hizo sentir como en casa a pesar de que solo habíamos estado en el país durante dos días en ese momento. Para el tipo que recientemente pasó algún tiempo en Boston, te apreciamos!

Great restaurant serving authentic Italian pizzas made fresh. The ingredients used are fresh. Quick ordering and serving. Staff knows the ingredients. Takes good care of allergens.

Great to see proper pizza. And not bad value for money. Coffee is strong and good. The menu only has espresso and cappuccino but they are happy to make others like americano. One of the best coffees I've had recently. Most places these days really skimp on the amount of coffee used, not so here. Nice looking ice cream options too, would like to try them sometime.

Amazing pizza. Friendly staff. Can be a bitt of a wait for a table at peak times but well worth it. Worth saving room for an ice cream (nougat or oyster highly recommended)

Great woodfire pizza and great atmosphere and staple of the Glasgow pizza scene. One issue of concern is that the prices have been rising substantially over the last 18 months, with some pizzas now almost double what they used to be. If you dislike the napolean pizza style of thin soft dough bases that don't hold together well on lifting, then this place also isn't for you.

The man at the reception is not good with kids. OK pizza but long wait times.

The restaurant directly entered my top 5 of the best places to have a pizza. The dough is delicious and well cooked in a traditional wood oven. The cooking part where pizzas are made is open, which offers you the opportunity to see the entire process. The atmosphere is nice and the service fast.

Authentic pizza really delicious. Reasonable price. Friendly staff and service (just they clean up the table too quickly when they think you are finishing) can be quite loud so not suitable if you want some quieter environment.

I love paesano and it's the place we go to when we are having a night out. I can't help it but feel something has changed as I have been disappointed by the hygiene the last two times I went in. First one being in town, a small roach was roaming in our tin with cutlery, when i pointed this out, a member of staff move it on the reception desk which was next to us, and 2 min later gave us the same tin once the roach was removed. Excuse me but i don't want to eat with cutlery that had roaches walk over them. Anyway, I thought it was one off. Last night we sat down in the west end one and the table next to us was just getting set up. The server, a lady with braids, dropped the paper mats on the ground, and then unbothered put them on the table for people to eat on. Not been funny but this is beyond hygiene breach. People put their cutlery on them, sometimes even food, touch it etc. Nothing that's been on the floor should be put back on the table. Disgusting! Sort yourselves out!

Amazing place. My partner and I have been going for over 2 years now staff are lovely and friend. Remember our names and our orders always say hello. BEST PIZZA , forget dominos or anywhere else this pizza is amazing and so affordable! Their whippy ice cream is also so good. Love our date nights here!

There is ONLY pizza here!! A very good one!! We were served very quickly, even though the restaurant is really big and there are a lot of customers in it. Unfortunately it is very loud due to the size and the huge number of people - we were happy to go outside again... But food & price were perfect.

Soy cliente habitual de paesano porque es (o era) una de las mejores pizzas de Glasgow. Nuestras pizzas en 2 / 10 / 24 eran pobres (y estoy siendo amable). La mía tenía una base robusta poco cocinada, la de mi marido se vino abajo como base demasiado delgada y no podía soportar la porción demasiado grande de queso. Tampoco tenía la costra hinchada que es habitual. No es una buena pizza. Algo ha cambiado en su preparación, ya sean ingredientes o su habilidad. Fue tan malo, y tan inesperado como definitivamente no es su estándar habitual, pero lo suficientemente pobre para que lo intente en otro lugar la próxima vez.

Estaba muy ocupado y había una cola en la puerta un domingo por la noche. Nos trajeron y nos sentamos rápidamente. Nos sirvieron rápidamente y las pizzas llegaron muy rápido. Tanto que esperaba comida de fuego rápido pero me equivoqué. La pizza era increíble. Probablemente es la única pizza que he visto a mi hija demoler por completo! No veo la hora de volver. El personal y la dirección bien hecho, la forma en que un punto de venta de alimentos debe ser dirigido!

Pizza isn't bad. Service absolutely terrible. If you're planning on going there to eat and catch up with with friends then do all the talking before arriving - then proceed to shut up, order, eat and get the hell out immediately after paying. Its very clear the owners don't want people to be be comfortable. The plates were off the table as soon as the last bite went in and bill offered before we had a moment to breath. Feels very pressurising from the staff. They have the audacity to remind you to pay a tip aswell. This venue is too good to be run the way it is. I'll not be back, there's far better places. It's just pizza, nothing to write home about.

Paesano is an institution in the West End. Great pizzas and great staff. Very busy. They don’t accept bookings though. I’ve been a few times and yet to have a bad meal.

Down to earth this is the best place for pizza! And that spicy ninja chilli oil is out of this world ( you have to ask and they will give you, not on the table by default) 🥷 🌶️ 🎉 If they don’t have space take the pizza and go the park - Glasgow west end experience covered :)

Good treatment, good food, good atmosphere,... They made us an extra salad for a vegetarian person

The pizza was excellent, with a browned and chewy crust and what tasted like burrata cheese. A unique style, in my experience. We’ll be back. Also loved the rocket/parmasan salad.

Amazing pizza. Staff were great but clearly very busy so not much small talk. Similar to the sister restaurant, Sugo, it’s a very loud environment with so many tables so close together. Makes it a very lively atmosphere but if you struggle with lots of noise, would be best to go during quieter periods. Would recommend.

Quite incredible and unique. Saying it was good wouldn't give it justice. It was all seriously exceptionally good. They know their stuff and don't overcharge you for it. That restaurant is a thing.

Visited here today and have been to both Paesano restaurants multiple times. Pizza again top tier as was the service. Number 4 and number 7 pizzas and a kids number 2, along with a Nduja and Mascarpone side and it was all perfect. We then both had a tiramisu and both agreed it was probably the best we had ever tasted.

Awesome food, great service and a decent restaurant Don't rate the loos tho.

Take away and sit in Pizzaria. We had take away. Both pizzas were very tasty. There was a special area for orders and you could sit outside for your pizza. Super Service

This pizza is the best I have ever had and I have had pizza all over the world. The pie is super thin but the crust is fluffy and chewy (sourdough). The toppings and flavor profiles are a combination of traditional and unique additions. Everything is freshly made by Pizza makers who were trained in Naples. The place is hopping!!!

Had it last time I came to Glasgow , the minute I was back, had to get some. Not disappointed.

One the best run restaurants I have ever been to. Our waiter made a mistake with our order which was quickly picked up by the other staff and the manager who were all amazing, and very kindly offered a full refund on most of our order. The prices are very good for the quality of food and service. Extremely good food, and incredible staff, definitely will have to come again next time I visit Glasgow :)

Definetely mi favourite pizza in Glasgow and maybe in the whole Scotland 😍😍 Absolutely delicious neapolitan pizza and very good starters and desserts. My fav is pizza number 3 with anchovies and capers. Superb! The service is just amazing even if the place is always crowded. They also offer take away.

Very good pizzas at good prices, the service was absolutely great, the only drawback was that it had a little bit of a train station flair, but you can see that when you enter and then you can decide for yourself, the food is definitely worth it!

The best Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever tasted (and I have travelled A LOT of places around the world). This place truly is the highlight of the Glasgow food scene and is an absolute must-do if you’re visiting the city for a few days! The sister restaurant in the city centre is every bit as good.

Nice place, excellent staff, delicious food. Having trouble finding a place to eat late on Thursday night and stumbled on Paesano Pizza. The place was buzzing and the service was great. The choice was good and the prices fair.

I didn’t get a photo of the pizzas because we ate them so quickly - but if you’ve been thinking of trying Paesano, please do! Food was amazing, ambiance was great and the service was friendly and quick.

A beautiful restaurant serving a variety of Italian pizza 🍕 in the middle of many markets and stores

Popped in on a recent Saturday at lunch and was seated immediately as half of Glasgow were in Germany at the Euros. Enjoyed an excellent fennel sausage pizza and Coke which arrived promptly. This is pizza prepared and cooked as it should be. Wish I could eat it every day without running to fat.

Bit of a regular here, I love Neapolitan style pizza and Paesano know exactly what it’s about, amazing sugo sauce and always cooked to perfection! I 100% recommend to get buffalo Mozzarella if you ever come, and if you are super hungry don’t worry, the pizzas are cooked in around 3 minutes, you’ll be served fast and it’ll be time to enjoy the best style of pizza in the world!

Introduced to Paesano by Family while we were on holiday. It's noisy, loud, although not overly, fun, vibrant and most of all the food was terrific.... Our food arrived quickly, was consistent, fresh and delicious (so much so we tried out the other city centre Paesano a few days later... One piece of advice, if you don't want to wait the book in advance....

Always go to paesanos for a good pizza with my mates once a month.

Crazy good pizza. Went there for lunch and had one of the best pizzas in my life so far.

The friend I was visiting recommended this place very highly indeed, so I was delighted to eat here for the first time. The pizza was totally outstanding - dough was wafer thin, toppings were delicious, & I was able to finish the whole thing, which is very unlike me, although I did ask for the smallest size. Had a pleasant chat with the gentleman on the reception desk, & particularly mentioned how charming & efficient our waitress, Lottie, was - she was smiling every time she walked by, & she was lovely to chat to - indeed, all the staff we encountered were friendly & had lovely manners. I look forward to eating here again when I visit Glasgow.

Great pizza and friendly staff. We were here on our last day in Glasgow and really enjoyed our dinner. Every pizza we ordered was good. It was very crowded and loud, but a fun atmosphere.

Man I had high expectations. The photos depict a classic neopolitano pizza with a fat crust and tasty toppings. Sadly only one of these characteristics applied. The dough was lovely with a nice stringy crust but the sauce was disappointing. They used high quality tinned tomato’s but didn’t help much with the flavour. Very bland and little tomato sauce on the pizza. The sausage was plain and dry and wasn’t up to the standard I was expecting. Service was average. Cannot say much for this place other than it was highly highly overrated. The potential is definitely there but not up to my standards. Shi average ash
