Excelente servicio y comida de gran calidad en esta pequeña joya en el lado sur de Glasgow. El personal era genial y un ambiente encantador Tuvimos bolas de arancini con ensalada de zanahoria recogida para empezar, pasta de salchicha italiana y jabalí ragu que no decepcionó en el sabor y la calidad. Conocer al propietario en otro bar local la misma noche fue extraño y pasamos nuestras reflexiones para compartir con el personal, ya que el crédito debe darse a su equipo. Bien vale la pena una visita y sin duda volveremos. Mantenga el gran trabajo Bar Vini Steve & Laura

Great food, loved the arranchini especially.

We mentioned when booking that it was a special occasion, but we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant—right by the door, where there was a constant draft and where others waited to be seated, cut off from the ambiance in the rest of the restaurant. The staff were unfriendly, the dishes were overly salty, and the service was both slow and unwelcoming. Despite the delays, we were still rushed out the door at the end, which only added to the poor experience. Would not recommend and won’t be returning.

Este fue recomendado por nuestra hija y no decepcionó. Excelente y auténtica comida italiana (principalmente de la variedad de pasta). No tuvimos desierto pero lo que tuvimos fue excelente. Tal vez las únicas dudas fueron que el menú no es enorme, la comida era un poco cara dada la zona y el lugar era un poco demasiado ruidoso para una conversación cómoda. Sin embargo, no podemos culpar a la comida.

Mi ir - al italiano - menú pequeño, pero todo es delicioso y un ambiente tan agradable. Hemos estado innumerables veces tanto a mitad de semana como el fin de semana. ¡Buenas opciones vegetarianas! El menú de bebidas es extenso y me ha encantado cada cóctel que he probado. El personal es siempre super atento, pero también le permiten tiempo para disfrutar de su comida!

Had wanted to try Bar Vini for so long after hearing so many good things and it entirely lived up to the hype! Loved everything, the arancini and focaccia was delicious! The squash veggie pasta was out of this world too, so fresh! And great drinks menu too ❤️🍷

When Bar Vini opened, it was great. However, the last few times I have been there, the staff have been rude, and after the last time, I can say I will never be back. I suggested we went there with friends who hadn’t been there before, but the service was slow and unfriendly. When we finally got our meal - ten minutes later, we were asked to hurry up and finish as they needed the table back; they offered to package up our food for us and explained we had agreed to their time slot when booking; however, it was hectic, and the service was slow, so not our fault we couldn’t keep to the time slot. Rather than causing a fuss, we left. The staff were insulting and laughed as we went. I noticed another table getting the same treatment. I really do not recommend.

Love this place, food is amazing, such good value and brilliant drinks. The only thing we would have changed is the music - loud club music which was really hard to talk over!

Overall our meal last night was ok but having visited several times before and the food being excellent we were quite disappointed. The service was good and the staff really nice however it was frustrating that 3 of the dishes we ordered we subsequently told were sold out and that they were working out kinks with the new menu. Menu is small so 3 dishes being unavailable does hamper your choice. Of the dishes we had some were great like the crostini and the sausage pasta and others were quite poor like the pasta with squash which was stodgy and bland.

My friends and I went to Vini for dinner last night and we were very impressed with the service. We had a few different needs in our group (hearing, etc.) and the servers couldnt have been more kind and patient with us. The food was excellent and we had a lovely time and will be back! Thank you especially to our server! You did a fantastic job.

Had dinner here tonight again with family for daughters birthday ,staff busy but always polite food was good as before can't pick any faults only 1 thing tho as I don't drink alcohol they didn't stock diet irnbru..

Este restaurante es una pequeña joya! He estado yendo desde hace unos años y siempre he disfrutado mucho de mi pasta - lingüina de langostinos, milanesa, pasta de salchichas - no importa cuál elijas, ¡siempre es delicioso, conmovedor y abundante! Debo comentar sobre el tiramisú que es irreal - por favor, haga espacio para esto! No mencioné el arincini que es delicioso y también la focaccia salada. Si ya te he tentado a irte - ¡entonces no olvides terminar con una margarita! Gran lugar!

Went here tonight with a few friends, the arancini was delicious however the pasta dishes lacked seasoning and I’m afraid the chicken I got was drenched in oil.

Visited with my partner for dinner and my expectations were exceeded in all facets. Immediately the atmosphere was attractive. Great service. Stunning menu. Beautiful cocktails. Absolutely would return and recommend

This place is a gem. Great service and a lovely vibe. The cocktails are tasty and the food was very good. Starter portions were decently sized so as not to fill you up too much for your mains. My husband found his pasta dish slightly soupy but otherwise the food was very good. I’d recommend the mushroom lasagna.

Really cool, welcoming bar serving up potent cocktails and the usual drinks. Food looked like hearty Italian fayre, but we didn't try it on the day. Maybe next time. Highly recommend the Gentleman Rico

Lasagne and wine wednesday deal for £15, very delicious would recommend

First time we’ve been to this little restaurant, and won’t be the last. Celebrating our wedding anniversary and using a gift voucher we got at Christmas. Had heard good things - but didn’t really know what to expect. Staff were very friendly and helpful (were happy to turn down the music volume on request). Service was prompt without being rushed, and the quality of the food was really good. We started with balsamic onions, focaccia and arancini, followed by Ravioli and Pollo Milanese - all were presented nicely, and very tasty. The Grillo, house wine, was pleasantly dry and sharp - just what we like. We didn’t have room for desert, so opted for decent tasting coffees. Cost was reasonable, and we really enjoyed the meal. We’ll be back.

Hands down the best Italian food in Glasgow. Absolutely gorgeous interior, service was fab. And the food was even better!

Been looking forward to trying this place but I got the beef shin ragu and really wanted to ask for salt or something to add flavour. The sauce was just quite bland and whilst it looked amazing and staff were top notch I don't think I'll go back. My sister ordered the pumpkin pasta and had similar feedback, quite gutted as I really wanted to enjoy it but it was mediocre

This place is amazing. A hidden gem. The place is trendy and was full of younger people but I did not feel out if place. The food was stunning. If I had to pick fault the tiramisu was basic and no added touches . No ice cream wild berries etc it tasted good but was more a slab of it in a plate. Now the starters and mains were a different class. Fresh made, real depth of flavour in the sauces

A fabulous meal. Sat at the bar. Started off with a couple of amazing cocktails mixed by Q. Love a negroni and their twist was fab. Food excellent as per usual. Pasta cooked to perfection. Loved the ambiance and the chat. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Our first time going here but my daughter has been many times, definitely didn't disappoint. Food was very good, big portions. Actually one main course could have done my husband and I especially after having the starters. Have no photos as I don't take photos of my food...I like to dig into it 😂

I visited here last night with a friend and everything we ordered was delicious. So much flavour. A real gem in the Southside.

The pasta was divine and we went on a Wed which turned out to be a deal of a pasta and glass of wine for £14. Brilliant!

Genuinely one of the best restaurants in Glasgow. I would recommend the porcini & parmesan pasta, absolutely insane. Pictured is the prawn and monkfish linguine which was excellent also.

been meaning to review this place for ages - often pop in for drinks and snacks as its so friendly. The bar staff are amazing, they are wizards of cocktail creation! the food is tasty hearty and Italian - gorgeous and yummy!. Had the fennel salad and focaccia on saturday - stunning ! thanks guys.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. The staff were super nice. I asked to put a bottle of prosecco on the table for our arrival. You would be amazed how many times I have asked for this at specials occasions and they have not followed through. Food was spectacular. I had the monkfish. Was the business. My partner adored her charcuterie starter. The portions were great and the gorgonzola was of a high standard. Drinks were nice. Solid Negroni. Place had a great atmosphere too. Would highly recommend for any fans of Italian food. Contender for best in the city. Brilliant evening.

We had an early evening appointment. Menu is not extensive but there are enough options to choose from. This was not our first time, the food was why we came back. We had Focaccia and Arancini to start, Porcini Ravioli and Linguini with Prawn and Monkfish for mains. Really good portions with lots of flavour, recommend Focaccia with Olive Oil and Balsamic. Plenty of monkfish and prawns, really tasty, melt in the mouth, one of the dearer options but so worth the money. Cocktails and beers slightly dearer than I would prefer. Overall, we will continue to go as the food is well worth it. All staff are very friendly although the music continues to be louder than I would prefer. Still able to chat to each other but the music can intrude at times.

The best place for an occasion or just a chill dinner. We came for a graduation and it was unbelievable service and the food was delicious! Food came quick without feeling rushed, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Our favourite place to go. Amazing pasta and cocktails! Love that there are several great vegan options that gave been carefully thought through to be just as delicious as the rest of the menu and definitely not an afterthought. The drinks list is also great and we're never disappointed by the cocktails on special. 10/10 service. Good overall vibe. You need to book well in advance to get a table and you can see why!

great food, great staff, great olives🫒

I visited here with one of my friends last night (a Friday evening in June). We hadn’t booked but we’re lucky enough to get a table where a booking had failed to show. The welcome we received was wonderful and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive - round of applause for the staff! We ordered olives to nibble which were absolutely spot with a bottle of white (I can’t recall which one we had) on then shared a serving of Arancini and burrata. The burrata was delicious and the pesto was absolutely amazing. The Arancini blew us away, a generous serving and tasted wonderful. We shared 2 pasta dishes after, a ragu and a fennel sausage dish. They were both absolutely phenomenal but the ragu was hands down without a doubt the best pasta dish I’ve ever had in my life. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly and had such great gesture, the sauce was perfect. I will 100% be returning here.

Waitress service was a bit slow but it was very busy. We were seated at the bar and received great service and banter from barman.

Everything about Vini is spot on, I absolutely love it. Incredible food, amazing cocktails, brilliant atmosphere and really lovely, welcoming staff. The bar team know how to make a cocktail! The food was so good that I booked in for dinner for the second time that week. Cool tunes, trendy decor, great vibe. Could not recommend it enough!

Food great, service good but music a little loud for a resteraunt

The food, cocktails, service and atmosphere are all top tier. If you’ve never been, definitely go here. The only downside is that the menu is small and hadn’t changed in the half a dozen times we’ve been. We would love to see what else the chefs here could do.

A lovely wee place. Very reasonably priced. My wife and I enjoyed olives and foccacia for starters to share. We both had pasta for mains. I seriously recommend the Prawn and Monkfish Linguinne. It was amazing and very generous with the amount of fish and prawns.

Excellent Italian in Glasgow. Beats a lot of place in London I’ve been to. Service was friendly and attentive with water consistently topped up. As someone else has said, the pasta portions are large so you could share one between two. More value for money! Definitely go here, you wouldn’t be disappointed. Thought I was in Italy for a minute, until we left and it was raining - course, it’s Scotland!

Cocktails? Good! Pasta? Good! Service? Good!

Food was distinctly average, in fact I left most of mine. Expensive for a plate of pasta (£14) Smallest glass of wine ever, in a dirty glass, squashed into a tiny table, elbows width from next table. Would probably be better off as a bar. Staff friendly that's the only positive thing I have to say about it.

Been twice now, it’s a nice place. The food is fine - classic Italian stuff done well. Staff are lovely. Nothing out of this world. Service a bit slow which is normally nice but they ask for the table back too quickly. Gets too hot - needs ventilation. The cocktails are more exciting than the food.

Only criticism is they're going with a 90 minute table policy. It's not a great idea, feels a bit rushed. Maybe try adding another 10-15 minutes. Part of a good experience is not being rushed out of a place however great the staff are about it. Still giving it 5 stars because it's a brilliant place, food, tunes, drinks, and especially the staff, are all top!

The staff here are amazing. Asked us what our dietary requirements were as soon as we sat down and then talked us through the menu accordingly. Cocktails were excellent and a little different to elsewhere. Food was AMAZING. Will definitely be back

The food here is excellent and they do nice cocktails too. Very friendly host as well and I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Was in for a drink the other night, atmosphere was nice, music was right. Staff were into it. A barman called Q: engaging, sharp, witty, big man Daiquiri. Perfect service. Strongly advise a visit.

My friend and I had a magnificent meal at Bar Vini. We had the prawns, arrinncini balls, focaccia and olives to start. All excellent - especially the prawns they were next level, the sauce they came in had an incredible mix of flavours. For main we had the beef shin Ragu and the Gorgonzola Ravioli - both were simply outstanding. Pasta was cooked to perfection and was nice and hot when it arrived. There was so much flavour in both and they had a bit of crunch with the crispy onions and breadcrumbs - honestly so satisfying. Really good portion sizes as well which you don’t often get in a lot of restaurants. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, shout-out to Chloe & Chris who both knew about the wines and made us feel very welcome. All in all, smashing spot - can’t believe I’ve never been before - will definitely be back A1

Food was sensational. Staff were amazing. Vibe was really cool. Nothing to fault in all honesty. Pasta Pomodoro for our 18 month son, delicious and he devoured the lot. Burrata starter to share; delicious and creamy. Lasagna and Pollo Milanese mains.....pasta al dente and sauce rich in flavour. Really cool vibe for dinner and drinks with friends, or early family dinner. Recommend 100%

I got here eventually - been trying for ages - and was blown away. Fantastic tortellini, great staff, small menus which is always a good sign, all added up to a fantastic night. Very impressed by everything about the place. We had a wait for a taxi and they were happy for us to sit in a back bit for a drink.
