The best restaurants in Stirling Central Scotland

Two hour solo visit , Cajun spiced fries , perfectly cooked Brie chestnut mushroom and smoked ham pizza Really good , very pleasant Bonnie young lady ( Heather ) serving behind the bar and running to tables. Very interactive with everyone , and clearly enjoys service , Scotland needs more like her in the hotel sector. , Well done.

Stayed at the old rectory for two nights Rooms were en suite very comfortable and spacious very clean with all facilities good Breakfast was excellent great choice and quality Steak dinner at night was top drawer Thoroughly recommend this establishment for those that want true Scottish hospitality The Live music on the Sunday was brilliant

Came to crianlarich for the weekend and had a couple of drinks here on the Friday night. Came back on the Saturday and it was closed. Why would the only pub in the village close on a Saturday. Crazy

I had a breakdown, so ended up at the services, went to Costa while waiting for breakdown assistance. Was greeted really warmly, and when I explained my predicament the young lady serving (Heather) was really upbeat and positive, which was just what I needed. She was not only pleasing and cheerful, she had a really good knowledge of the products on offer, as I was a little unsure what to offer she gave me a few options and described them and ended up offering something I’d never normally order- and it was lovely! She also recommended the pistachio biscuit/bake which again was very nice! High quality service like this should definately be commended and I hope whoever is in charge recognises and commends her suitably! She’d certainly be a good example for other staff, or maybe in a training role? I’d normally avoid services but I’ll be sure to stop by if I’m passing again! Thanks

We made a quick stop on our long journey for snacks and to say hello to the Highland Coos. Well worth the stop as these beautiful animals ate carrots right out of our hands and also posed for photos. Inside there are lots of snacks to choose from.

Tasty and generous meals in a comfortable, traditional setting. Friendly staff and seemed to be well used by the local community.

Myself and a group of 5 have never experienced a hotel that hides behind covid to give the worst possible service you could get. No hello, good morning, good evening or can I help you. Asking for any extra items we dreaded. To be fair the son in law just about made it bearable. As a group we spent over £1000 in this place and was treated appallingly. we had traveled to complete a walk ticking off the munroes. We asked if we could have an early breakfast because of the heart to the reply “ don’t do early breakfast it’s between 8/9. So we asked for some cereal to be left and toast . We was left I box of mini cereal each nothing else at a cost of £50:£60 per night. The morning we left I found that the cost of the trip had been taken from my bank account without my knowledge . The card was used to secure the booking abs was not told at any point it would be used as we where 3 separate couples. No discussion that this had happened on the first day we arrived .I thought my account had been hacked and was seen upset at breakfast yet still nothing said. Under the current climate you would expect nothing less than manners especially when you are paying guest.

Good food and reasonable prices despite having a captive audience at Stirling Castle. We had quick service despite a line up and were able to eat outside at a nearby picnic area on the castle grounds. No need to go further for lunch while visiting the castle!

Ordered by phone and told it’ll be ready in 20 mins. Got there after 15 mins. Patiently waited 5 mins only to realise our food was already waiting. Thinking we’d avoid their online service charge we phoned but actually ended up paying more doing it this way! Food was good though. Absolutely massive portion of Cantonese chow mein (with its crispy noodles) which turned into ‘breakfast of emperors’.

Nice evening spent in the outdoor area (I think they have two but we were in the main car park). Staff were nice, and brought out a drink to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, which was very kind. Toilets fine, inside fine, and the drinks were served well and reasonably priced. It was very quiet when we went, but we were happy enough with this. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Visitamos este restaurante hace muchos años y siempre disfrutamos de nuestras comidas. Ingresó recientemente y notó los cambios en el buffet y el menú que no nos impresionó demasiado. El formato anterior se adecuaba mejor a nuestras necesidades, pero deseamos que los cambios atraigan nuevos clientes. Sin aparcamiento.

First time to this garden centre following a recommendation. Good stock and variety of all things garden, plants, shrubs and decorative. No coffee shop despite website advertising. Visit spoiled by sullen staff at checkout. Won't return.

if you like a good fish supper recommend a visit as freshly cooked and piping hot when got back to car 10 mins later

My Wife and I popped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon, tables avaliable, enjoyed browsing through the new menu and chose the recommended katsu chicken, and my Wife raved about the lasagne. Great value for money and freshly made food..
