First time to this garden centre following a recommendation. Good stock and variety of all things garden, plants, shrubs and decorative. No coffee shop despite website advertising. Visit spoiled by sullen staff at checkout. Won't return.

I went today with another lady of age to buy lots of plants and shrubs. Despit the place being almost empty the staff the staff were very unhelpful. When asked about a certain plant it was met with who was up for the task. There was absolutely no customer care what so ever. Delivery of said trolleys full of plants as well as compost was apparently not longer a service they offered. We arrived at the till to also be told that over the phone payments which are relatively sime for most retailers was also something they no longer done. All of our enquiries were met with negative and not very customer friendly replies. Having used the garden center for many years as the selection of ants they have is great,i am saddened to say that they will no longer have my custom which is a real shame as i always aim to use independent ,small businesses.

Phoned Greenyards on Monday 29 May 2023 to check if their coffee shop is open today, only to be told they no longer have a coffee shop. This means that their website is WRONG. The man on the phone said he didn't know who maintained the website, so all together a poor show. I might have made a special trip by taxi (no car of my own) only to be 100% disappointed.

Lentil soup was tasteless. Two tables of people waited forever to be served and place was not busy. Drinking choc came to table all over outside of cup. Would definitly not recommend

This garden centre has one of the best wee cafes around. Nice food, fair prices and pleasant staff. Only criticism is; people waiting to pay often complain that staff are unaware they are standing there. Please bring back the little bell!

Huge choice of plants, garden ornaments, garden tools and feeding stuff, bird food and feeding containers, furniture and ornaments for home too, etc. Plus a super small café. Friendly service. Plenty car parking too.

We stopped here for a light lunch on our way to a concert in Glasgow. I like the older style garden centres more than the big chains such as Dobbies. The cafe is old-fashioned, but that is not a problem, and as it was a nice day we sat outside in a closed in area, which did feel a tad shut in, but the view would only be of the car park anyway, were it more open.

i went here at 10 in the morning and firstly decided to visit the cafe. Choosing to have a cooked breakfast it was lovely and plentiful . Onto the store looking for pond products and not been able to get anywhere else i asked an assistant who gladly went up a ladder and had what i was needing up high onxthe shelf ..Great.

The garden centre was the attraction, but while we perused we had a need for a beverage. The person took our order and there was a limited choice of cakes ( as we were later in the day the stock was depleted?) . They do have a very reasonable breakfast offering including pancakes. So might check this out later. The coffee and nibbles set us of for another forage into the plants again. A good garden centre and the reasonable coffee stop.

My husband and self wisited the Café for lunch.Firstly we waited at least 30 mins for our lunchthe person who brought out the lunch was the cook with her hair flying all over the place NOT GOOD in the interest of food hygiene. My husband ordered a small breakfast it was a disaster potato scone flat sausage and bacon were all burnt. I had macaroni cheese with salad the salad was only fit for the bin it was so floppy and the macaroni cheese had lost the cheese sauce The cooks attitude was very could not care less

I've visited this café several times and have always enjoyed the food, however, great patience is required while you wait a considerable length of time for staff to come out of the kitchen to attend to you. The problem seems to be that the kitchen is tucked out of sight of the seating area and the staff don't seem aware that customers are sitting waiting. On our last 2 visits, we have given up waiting and left to go elsewhere, such a shame because the food, if you can get any is really nice and is reasonably priced. We won't be going back again.

The staff made everyone wait longer than was acceptable both before taking orders and the length of time to then get the food. Service is appauling. Teapot just about went through the table when it was dropped on it! Food is not of a very good standard. The waitress as my wife put it looked like she had just coming from feeding the pigs! On going to pay there was a queue with no person at the till but someone talking in the door way who could not be bothered to stop talking to serve their customers. There are far better cafe's in the area. It is a pity as the garden centre is good but the cafe can only be described as terrible.

A great wee coffee shop within the garden centre, scones, cakes, toasties, burgers all freshly made and very tasty, a must try is the Pancakes, bacon and maple syrup,, very tasty, especially on a sleety cold afternoon. Coffee, tea and other drinks available and to top it off very reasonably priced for Stirling,, You will be cosy as they don't skimp on the heating, lovely and cosy without being stuffy. A wee hidden gem.

We came for a birthday party at the soft play and stayed and had some lunch - such a lovely venue with gardens and walking areas as well as the cafe and softplay for kids. The food in the cafe was surprisingly good. Excellent options for those with dietary requirements and really delicious food which seemed to be properly made from scratch (veggie/vegan mushroom sausage roll and GF pizza were a real hit!). Service was lovely too. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered the venison burger, it was really awful. If one part of the meal was not good i would of mentioned it and given them the chance to sort it. But due to so many parts of the meal being really bad it made more sense to write a bad review. The food was what the food was. Chips were sickly pale and undercooked, onion rings were undercooked in oil not hot enough leaving it thick and soaked through the batter, oil was also not clean, it had black bits throughout. The burger bun was dry and freezer burned, either stale or hard at edges from being microwaved. The venison burger had been frozen and defrosted in the microwave, but too long in the microwave so it was dry and solid like a hockey puck. The woman at the bar was not particularly friendly either, not the younger girl, the older one. We spend £45 in there, we were extremely hungry from climbing so we ate it all but it really really was terrible and just to fill a hole.

Stopped for a lunch break thoroughly enjoyed it and was made aware of the parking situation and there is also a display to allow you to put in your details so why others have complained when it's right in front of you ? Anyway food service and surroundings were all excellent

The staff were more than lovely, was just after climbing the mountain beside it and drenched with no phone charge or water, and he accepted me in and gave me a charger and a drink. The location is also so perfect its a beautiful view.
