Nice and quiet, tables were clean and service was good. Sat by the window and even though time was getting on, I didn’t feel pressurised into finishing my tea to leave.

Pedimos té para dos en £12. Disfrutamos de los bocadillos, bollos con mermelada y nata y bizcochos con una taza de té. Mi única queja fue que la taza de té podría haber sido más grande o un recipiente de agua incluido para rellenar la hervidora de nuevo. Hemos tenido la misma oferta en Edinburgh Woolen Mills en otros lugares y que incluía una taza de agua caliente junto con la tetera. No es mucho pedir!

Pub menu, with a smell of chlorine and no air! Overlooking the pool, sticky tables and menus and really greedy food. Would not go back, just poor standards, with one exception, the manager. He was the most attentive of anyone the whole weekend, he did really well and I appreciated his professionalism

We tried it out on September week end . a friendly welcome from staff ,we sat in the conservatory which was cosy. I had steak and sausage pie,mostly sausage I have to say ,it had a ragou sauce in it , again not my favourite thing. Hubby had fish n chips which he said was just ok. The price was about right for the dishes. The lady that served us was very nice so that was a bonus.

My Wife and I popped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon, tables avaliable, enjoyed browsing through the new menu and chose the recommended katsu chicken, and my Wife raved about the lasagne. Great value for money and freshly made food..

Tried for the first time today. We are a family of 4. Food was amazing. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Although it was raining we were still able to go round and feed the animals. The goats were a wee highlight! We’ll definitely be back soon.

Habiendo usado este restaurante un par de veces antes, realmente no me gusta su comida, pero mi esposa sí. Hicimos un pedido a través de Just Eat y, un rato después, el restaurante llamó para decir que no podían proporcionar los platos principales. Lo suficientemente justo; Les pedí que cancelaran el pedido. Dijeron que no podían y que tendría que hacerlo a través de Just Eat. La única forma de hacerlo parecía ser a través del chat; después de un tiempo, Just Eat me dijo que podían cancelarlo, pero que se quedarían con la mitad del dinero y que debería cancelar a través del restaurante. Dos llamadas al restaurante quedaron sin respuesta, pero volvieron a llamar unos veinte minutos más tarde y me dijeron de nuevo que no podían cancelar el pedido. Actualmente estoy fuera de mi bolsillo y sin comida, y he perdido una hora de mi noche. Si te gusta la comida que hace este lugar, te sugiero que evites hacer pedidos en línea; es posible que obtengas un mejor servicio cara a cara, cuando sea más difícil engañarte.

A bit wary following other reviews, but we really enjoyed the meal. Simon and his friend were welcoming, some trays were low, but they straight away filled them up. Got our choice of nan, etc. We were in cosmo in Glasgow yesterday, and although they had a bigger selection , the quality was equally good. My favourite, the lamb curry and the Tika salad.

Breakfast is widely advertised as being available until 11.30am but should state subject to availability! I arrived at 10.55am Sunday morning looking forward to a full breakfast for myself and my husband. I waited in a queue for 15 mins only to be told “what’s left is in front of you and it will take too long to cook anymore, we’ve been busy” .I walked away in disgust. I did get the chance to speak to restaurant manager who was very apologetic , offered to get food cooked for us but the momentum had gone and wasn’t in the mood to be spoken to or served by the not so pleasant staff member ! If the staff were worth their salt someone should have alerted the queue that there wasn’t any breakfast left or should have notified kitchen staff more food was required. The restaurant certainly did not look busy nor the car park. When I say there was a queue I mean approximately 4 to 5 in front of me being served by a not so cheery staff member serving on her own until when I reached the hot food server another member of staff came out to help. I am a club member but will not be renewing my membership. If a business in this current economic climate can loose customers through rude staff and poor food quantity control then good luck to them. Four other customers behind me left the queue when they heard there was nothing left. It was the local May weekend, foresight should have prevailed and plenty breakfast items available. I understand food going to waste isn’t good either but surely if breakfast is being advertised until 11.30am then customers should be able to have it , even if it has to be cooked fresh! Gone are the days when the customer is king!

My friend and I selected black pudding on a roll with our coffee. At the till, I honestly thought the woman serving me was joking…..asked me if I had one, two three pieces of black pudding. I told her two and she then asked me to lift the roll to show her! I thought she was joking……she was not!!!! Poor customer service and very overpriced!
