1st cafe I’ve ever been to that doesn’t do poached eggs ???? miserable man serving, cold and dark

Had the butter chicken and saag paneer - was lukewarm with hindsight. Now in the bathroom needing use of the sink and toilet simultaneously. Let’s leave it at that.

Ordered crispy chicken in chilli plum sauce and it was absolutely terrible, expected the sauce to be a red colour and taste of plum but what I got was a green hot sauce without the slightest taste of plum, very disappointed with the dish

My wife ordered Ribeye steak rare it was as tough as old boot's pity there wasn't a cobblers nearby, so be aware you have been warned

On Saturday we ordered the crispy chicken in OK sauce with special fried rice and a portion of chips. The service was efficient The food was Excellent, hot and very tasty, the chips were perfect too.

Group of 6...Great food, but service very slow...had to ask for food and empty glasses to be cleared away, and then waited 20mins before someone wanted to take money from us (after us asking can we pay) Waiters and waitresses very friendly, apart from 1 who scowled numerous times at my 2 year old for running around. Cinema great for kids, but filthy, doesnt seem to get cleaned through the day. It is however a great atmosphere, fab for kids and the food is delish.

Just had Sunday lunch.Was highly delighted with it.Good value for money.Pleasant staff .The yorkshire puddings were the nicest i have had in years.Will be back soon.

Mmm, a bit disappointed this time if I’m honest. Not up to the usual standard at all. The chips tasted old, the garlic bread was very poor in comparison to usual, the burger was okay but pretty soggy and the notes weren’t adhered too like they normally are, which meant the husband couldn’t eat it. Will try again but if it comes like this time it will be the last.

It's very rare we get to make the trip over to navigation inn but when we do we are never disappointed! Fantastic staff, beautiful home cooked meals, dog friendly with a nice outside park in a huge beer garden next to the peaceful canal! I have never once had a bad experience with this place!

Had a lovely meal here tonight. Following lockdown it felt perfectly safe and good procedures were in place. A couple of minor mistakes with the food but Joe our waiter put those right promptly. All credit to the lad, he was really polite and attentive. Give the lad a rise.
