Just moved to Wakefield ,one of the best Chinese if eaten in a very long time

My personal favourite Chinese takeaway in the area.

First time trying Deagon C and the food was great

Best chinese I have had in a very long time portions was huge service was great and was full of flavour

Been coming here for years, is one of the best in the area for Chinese food. And the staff are so friendly and genuine. Always great taste and service. Definitely Recommend 👍

Absolutely awful, scraps of meat in the dish, tiny pieces. Tasted awful. Never again, nasty. £36 pound for a load of cheap tack, unhealthy, greasy and absolutely awful. You have gone down hill, never again.

Best takeaway around.used to go every week.We have now moved but called last week while visiting family had a lovely takeaway and the owners remembered us.will call again when next down in Yorkshire.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Me and my partner are regular customers who order from Dragon C and have not once had a single fault with any of the food until last night. The food is usually gorgeous, flavoursome and never disappoints. We ordered chicken curry which had no spice to it (like it usually does) very bland and I struggled to cut the chicken as it was well overdone. The fried rice was fine and so was the prawn toast, but the chips were over cooked/stale and the beef in black bean sauce was bland with no spice or flavour like it usually is. Both the meat dishes had less meat and an overbearing amount of onions (I even requested not a lot of onions when placing the order). Me and my partner were super disappointed with our meal and it has made us come to the decision not to order from here again. If there was one or two mistakes we’d of been happy to give Dragon C another chance but the meal as a whole was lacking so many qualities we know. You’ve lost two loyal customers I’m afraid.

Amazing for gluten free! The customer service is brilliant. The food tastes great. Can't recommend enough,especially for anyone with a gluten intolerance.

The best Chinese takeaway in a while. I am gluten and dairy free and the chef and lady on the phone were so accommodating. We will definitely be ordering again. Beaut salt and pepper chips with Chicken in black bean sauce complete we no stomach upset afterwards. Delivered very quick.

Delivery fast, the food was hot and it had loads of flavour.It tasted great. Value for money and big portions. Will definitely be ordering again from there.

Ordered 2 special meals. One a curry one pineapple. Both were 90% chicken. Nice and tasty, but disappointing in variety of content.

Chicken boiled till like rubber. Same with pork and beef. Cant even put a fork in it.Not even edible. Gave it to the dogs. Disgusting.

Dragon c - utterly dreadful! I haven’t ordered for years, it used to be great and tonight I’m so disappointed with the food. salt and pepper chips which were plain chips entirely, all food was cold, salt and pepper prawns - half a tray was provided. Japanese curry dish was basic curry sauce and freezing with extremely dry chicken, staff couldn’t care less when we called to let them know. Never again!!!!

Had a Chinese tonight.. was one of the worst I’ve had was just behind eat88 which is horrendous!!! Had chicken and mushroom fried rice , boiled rice , salt and pepper chips and curry sauce the mushrooms we’re still raw .. hardly any sauce and tasteless .. salt and pepper chips .. the chips hadn’t seen salt and pepper in there life there was one slice of onion ,one slice of green chilliat the bottom of the bag The egg fried was was over done it tasted burnt and the curry sauce tasted just bland and spicy .. been recommended by so many people as our local is closing .. so disappointed.. tried ringing to let them know but didn’t answer

Fabulous quality food with the best fresh ingredients. Would recommend salt and pepper prawns, steak in blackbean sauce. But all the menu is good.

We used to get takeaways quite regularly but for no reason stopped. Got a fantastic salt n pepper ribs and half crispy enormous duck last night. Can't wait for the next one.

Excellent food and delivery was bang on time.

We tried Dragon C for the first time today, thought it was fantastic. Beef curry, egg fried rice, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour sauce were spot on. Reasonably priced. We will be going again.

We must pass quite a number of Chinese Takeaways on route to Horbury from Leeds, but I will say that by far this must be the best that we have visited for a long time, each time we call the food never disappoints, freshly cooked piping hot even when we travel the 20mins back home, 5 Star Food Hygiene and very polite, l would highly recommend that you try it for yourselves, keep up the fantastic work Team Dragon C and we will see you on our next visit 😊👍🏻

Best Chinese takeaway by far. Delicious food as always.

We decided to try a new Chinese takeaway which I regretted after lifting the lid off my dish. Ordered Duck & Char Siu Combination (59). Despite costing £7 the portion was both small and substandard. The dish contained no other ingredients other than soy sauce which had been absorbed buy the dry meat. After complaining this was quickly replaced with Char Sui and Cashew Nuts (49) which was much better than the initial dish but I won’t be ordering from this Chinese takeaway again.

If am going to have a Chinese this is the place I go. Had been going here for years til I moved out of the area, but since I moved back it's great to know that it's still as good as ever. Delicious food that's worth the price, generous portions, and a lovely family run establishment. Never been disappointed,nor had any problems. Keep up the brilliant work you amazing people. Plus may I note that they have dim sum (Chinese Dumplings) on the menu, which in my opinion makes it a proper Chinese. Thanks, you deserve 5*

If this is the best Chinese around Horbury and surrounding area.... move house, you’re being done!!!!!!! Read the reviews on Tripadvisor and thought we’d suffer the journey from Outwood to collect a meal... wish we’d not bothered!! Like the previous reviewer we found it tasteless, cheap ‘plastic processed’ chicken and expensive for the quality... 1/4 duck didn’t even look like 1/8... skinny on the cucumber, onion and hoi sin sauce ... Poor! To say the least.. His chicken and pineapple had no sauce, was very dry and fried rice..??? Fried and better fried I’d say... Mine... ‘crispy’ hahaha.. deep fried chicken in ok sauce...cheap bought in pre coated chicken chunks with the limpets attempt at OK sauce I’ve ever tasted!!! Dragon C..??? Won’t be C’ing you again!!!!!!!

It was our first time ordering here tonight and the food arrived much quicker than advised, was piping hot and absolutely gorgeous! It’s our new favourite Chinese, so impressed. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Amazing food everything was perfect

This is the first time we have used this takeaway - we have lived locally for the last 6 years and this takeaway was recommended. We ordered over the phone and then collected. Very good dishes - dim sum, hot and sour soup and prawn toast and spring roll combo. Sczchuan Special, Japanese Udon Special, Green Pepper and Black Bean Special, Thai Green Curry Vegetable - all tasty and hot. Free Prawn Crackers. Would recommend.

Just terrible – our first and last time ordering here. Long wait for order (to collect), told 30 minutes, I arrived after 20 and food was ready, sat there, sweating in the bag. Kitchen obviously cannot cook to a schedule. Card machine does not work and apparently by their own admission, does not work a lot of the time. After 10 minutes of them trying to take payment (food still sat there) I said I would go get cash from cash machine (food still sat there). Upon return, no apology and no attempt to appease with token free prawn crackers (which they charge for, where others offer small free bag). Returned home to cold soggy chips, two cold meals and to top it all off, they were possibly the most disappointing Chinese meals we have ever had. The Thai red curry was nothing more than prawns and vegetables in an under-seasoned, flavourless basic Chinese gravy sauce – no Thai flavours (or any flavour) at all. The prawns were actually really good but the vegetables were like mush – just terrible. The sweet and sour chicken was equally as bad. Tasteless, thin and watery with what tasted like fake/synthetic sweetener. To be fair, the staff were very nice but it’s all about the food – which was appalling. When there are many other Chinese eateries around, I see no reason why anyone would go here. Expensive, kitchen cannot time manage, card payment does not work, tasteless mushy food. A waste of £18. I urge you to go elsewhere!!!

No solemos comentar en comida para llevar, ya que normalmente es muy mediocre. Sin embargo, esta es la primera vez que hemos utilizado esta comida y no será la última y a partir de ahora será un firme favorito para China comida para llevar. Sencillamente, filete de pollo de calidad y langostinos, sutilmente y con sabor a diferencia de la habitual capa maltratada congelados cortes de carnes con pesado barato, masa duro. We ordered a chicken curry, chips and rice and a separate portion of curry sauce. The chicken curry was beautiful, best we've tasted around here but the curry sauce which was separate was abit too bland! Will be eating here again!

We have just had Chicken in batter and checken and mushrooms with fried rice. The portions were very large and extremely tasty. Will certainly be returning. Well done Dragon C.

Estado aquí unas cuantas veces y volveré! A pesar de esperar a veces prolongado en horas punta (pero no es de esperar con un popular llevar?), la comida ha sido fantástica, sin excepción. Las porciones generosas, siempre caliente, sabroso y no nadando en grasa, Dragon C no me ha fallado y es razonable. Pimienta pollo sal n - imprescindible!!

Nuestra familia nos ha pidiendo comida de Dragon C durante años ahora.

Iv had many different dishes from this place and every time it's been top qualty staff is very friendly and like chatting to you it's easy on the purse to so next time you want a decent takeaway this is the place to go

We've been going to the Dragon C for years and always have a great meal. I have coeliac disease and I take gluten free soy sauce with me for the chef to make me gluten free and vegetarian food. They can do gluten free food without soy sauce if you don't have it. Very helpful staff. We love the tofu choices and they have rice vermicelli noodles. Always a tough decision what to choose?

The meals from here are really tasty and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. You can pay by card which is s bonus! Could do with one or two more things on the menu, but that's just down to my preference.

All ingredients are fresh and portion sizes are good, plenty of meat in the main dishes. Salt & pepper spare ribs are delicious. Only drawback is the chicken & sweet corn soup is not great, tastes watery.

The main Chinese in Horbury that always delivers great food! Never had a bad meal from here. Sweet and sour mix is great and you get big portions of rice.

Dragon C offer a very good take away service with an excellent choice of dishes all of which in the magical Chinese dish way are available within 10 minutes of ordering should you turn up in person.Their delivery service is equally good ~ 30-45 minutes even on busy days.More importantly I can recommend the food, not all dishes are perfect, no restaurant/take away dishes are ever always perfect. I like I'm sure you do tend to gravitate towards your favourites.To that extent I will be ordering Salt and Pepper King Prawns and Special Black Pepper Sauce, to time nicely with when Match of the Day starts.We all have our preferences, nothing is ever perfect but Dragon C always do a very very good job.
