Said it had been delivered 20 minute earlier!!! Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. When I rang up they said the driver had just left.

Fabulous food, famly recommended me and so I just had to try it and I am so glad I did, yummy food, beautifully flavoursome, lots of lovely dips and I had waited years to move to Yorkshire to try this restuarant and it was well worth the wait too.

We always love visiting here, the food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly. Been coming here since I was 16 (now 30!) We are so lucky to have somewhere so nice on our doorstep.

Superb pops and pickle tray, yummy mushroom pakora. The curry was delicious too, perfectly balanced. Unfortunately, the chips came in an amorphous blob and literally left the carton as one. Upon separation, every single chip was soggy and wilting, although they looked as though they may have had a touch of crispness in their history. There's little point making fabulous curry if you're going to ruin it with something as simple as dreadful 'french fries'. Shame.

We have eaten in and had takeaways a number of times. Food is always amazing. Butter chicken is the best I have ever had! The staff are always friendly!!

Really poor delivery today, no communication from Cinnamon Lounge and when called was left on hold for 10 mins before they hung up on me. We usually order once a month but think we’ll find another restaurant to order from as it’s not the first time an order has been delayed and the food quality has decreased over recent months, and also some of the food has been cold.

New signage needed - this place is well-known among spice experts as Goughs. Plus recommend adopting more of a four-eyes strategy on spelling of ‘exquisite’ (see above door). Curry dinosaurs returned for a third visit determined to over-order and get waiter head shakes and / or warnings. Disappointingly despite reeling off an absolute shipping order of spiced dross, we were asked if we wanted anything else! Clearly Head Honcho has given a clear mandate that these mammoths must never be questioned. The lamb chops were the highlight - they’re real good. And despite ordering another plate of lamb chops whilst still mid-lamb chops and an extra two dishes for the table plus a hanging naan we still wolfed the lot. 2/3 of us complained of insufficient bloating. The two waiters we had were clearly hand picked; Honcho’s top boys who delivered esqusite service and no one got hooked early. There was zero hesitation in delivering a quite heavily hyped up phaal sauce side either - although a hastily arranged conference was held between all staff when this was deemed “too mild” by the dinosaurs. The offer of a free Lidl Baileys after we’d just been discussing whether we’d get a free watered down nightcap highlighted the supreme anticipation of the staff, but did lead to concerns over Honcho having bugged the veterans table. All in all 9 on 10, hanging naan on the crispy side but otherwise they do a real good job, we could return again I think it’ll happen.

Been coming here since it opened and will never go elsewhere. The food is always delicious, good portion sizes and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Simply the best!

We often order from here and absolutely love the food but the past couple times I’ve ordered I feel like the curries have gone a bit downhill, seem a bit bland compared to usual, I’m not sure if the chef has changed? I usually order a pathia as the pathia is usually the best in Wakefield but it was super bland tonight. The guy at the door was so so lovely though, super apologetic! And I understand it’s a Saturday night and it’s busy which is why it was so late. I really hope for some consistency

had takeaways from here before been spot on tonight's mixed grill was inedible everything was dry and over cooked or yesterday's leftovers chicken leg was under cooked mutton or lamb tiker was stringy and tough will use u again but not your grill very disappointed sorry don't usually moan but you need to know

This restaurant doesn’t serve the best Indian food you will have however it is still plentiful, impressively tasty and good value for money. Perhaps the biggest criticism of the actual restaurant is that it can be a little cool (as in feels about 18°) and the decor is a little tired in places. However, the service is 100% !! The manager /owners are always front of house, they are attentive, polite and between them make sure your dining experience is so good that on balance you will want to return. At the end of the meal you are even offered a complimentary shot. If you are local to Horbury this is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area.

This was the 1st time we had visited but it went be the last! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is very well presented and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable as well. Will be back very soon.

Ist time at Cinnamon Lounge Horbury. What a lovely evening spent there. Food great, spoilt for choice! Wine options aren't many but some lovely wines on the list. Service was excellent with plenty of staff. They really go above and beyond. Would definitely eat here again would recommend to all. Family and group friendly

We had a delicious meal here on a Friday evening. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was the ambiance and decor which was a little stark.

Had the butter chicken and saag paneer - was lukewarm with hindsight. Now in the bathroom needing use of the sink and toilet simultaneously. Let’s leave it at that.

Really looking forward to this meal after reading the reviews. Disappointed. The meal was plain and at best average. The sauces were plain and lacking depth. One good thing was the pickle tray, excellent.

The curry’s where ok (chicken balti) chicken passanda) the chips where abysmal the bajis where soggy and the delivery time was about 1hour 20-30 mins. The first and last time I will eat here expensive for what it was

positives: the curries and the lamb chops/tikka were lovely. negatives the chicken tikka main was bone dry and charcoalled burnt and 7 small pieces of chicken do not make a main meal. not sure of there's was supposed to be like a sizzler with onions etc or a salad maybe? either way was very expensive for what you got. samosas were like petrol station prepacked ones. didn't taste bad just not restaurant standard. would try again for the curries/lamb

There was plenty of food in the boxes..however the chef was chilli happy and we struggled to eat some of the food.

11 of us including 3 children (8,5 &2). Birthday girl was spoilt and the service was without doubt, focused on us having the best experience they could give us. They were so attentive to all our needs and treated each child as individuals to make them feel important too and not an inconvenience - as a family unit we were very much welcomed and valued. Birthday cake and a small 'drink on the house' capped off one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had! A lot of pretentious venues could learn a lot from coming here!

rang the restaurant to chase it up, they were very rude, said they were 1 and half hours behind and put the phone down on us. we were not angry or rude at all, we just wanted to know if the order was in process.

Always friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere, on Sunday evening you get a very good magician thrown oh and yes, never had a bad meal. My favourite restaurant around Wakefield.

I like the tastes of Indian food but am not very good with heat at all, this place does a fantasic range of dishes, based on nuts and fruit and cream, really tasty but very mild, my favourite is the chicken delight, and their peshwari naan's are the best, really full of almond paste.

Very attentive and friendly staff. All of the food we chose was great. I had a fish starter that was cooked to perfection. They even have a healthy choice curry on the menu now, cooked with no oils or fats, which was really good. Not the first time we've been and I'm sure we'll be going again.

The order was accepted and the delivery time was given between 18:30 and 18:50. At 18:35 we got a notification that the food was on its way. After 35 minutes it still hadn’t arrived so I queried this via the app. The notification then changed from on its way to delayed. The food eventually arrived nearly an hour after it had set off and was cold. I can only assume the food had left the restaurant at the original time stated of 18:35 but for some unknown reason it took nearly an hour to be delivered

Lovely decor and atmosphere and the food was wonderful, the dishes we had were full of meat which was lean. The staff were friendly and happy to recommend and suggest dishes and we were not rushed. Will definitely be going again.

Been coming here for a while now and it is always so nice to come. Our starters were really good and our mains were great. I am gutted, however that I couldn’t finish it all. The staff are not only friendly and helpful, but you have a great laugh with them. My only complaint is that the walls are in need of a repaint as they are scuffed up and a little worn. But other than that the atmosphere is great, the staff are great and the food is delicious… I just wish I stuck around for pudding… 😅

It was my first time here with the family, and I can honestly say it's the best indians I have ever had, and I have had many . Their menu choice has so much to pick from, and not just the standard curry's they all do, this one has dishes I have never heard of . We all chose different dishes but all with lamb, which was cooked perfectly, so tender it melted in your mouth 10 out of 10

Absolutely terrible, ordered chicken tikka massala & chicken chilli balti... never again, if I could leave 0 stars I would, the chicken tikka massala was in like a bitty tomato paste, chucked it straight in the bin never tasted such a horrible curry ever! Definitely do not recommend

Fab food, quick delivery and super tasty. I added to notes to Call me on arrival as have a small baby in bed which they didn’t but other than that was perfect!

Our first time here and a last minute choice, we were so glad we decided to pop in! The staff were so friendly and all the food was spot on. I can’t believe I’ve not been here before as I live locally but this will definitely be my go to.

Great place foods really nice and well portioned, lacks a little heat sometimes where it's supposed to be a bit spicy but that's ok it's catering for it's crowd. Staff are ace.
