Excellent food staff are friendly recommended highly

First time eating at Yusuf's after hearing lots of good things about this restaurant. We went midweek and had the special offer at £15 pp. All the food was excellent and my main, the Nambali special was just the right heat for me although I would prefer the meat and chicken pieces to be a bit bigger. Definitely be back...Nice decor too!

Not so good beautiful restaurant but food ultra bland .It's not Indian it's Pakistani rating 5 out of 10mostly for decor.Prices not bad but food nothing to write home about .🤔You can BYOB which is good but that's about only positive thing .Disappointed really

Really disappointed with this restaurant. My date booked a table for two at 8pm. We arrived at 7.55, on arrival there were plenty of empty seats and tables. We told the guy we had booked a table for 8 for two people..I traveled from Halifax...They kept us waiting 20 mins, we asked why it was taking so long for us to be seated. The reply bare with us really empty tables and not very busy. Sorry but dissatisfied at the reply. So left without eating so the moral of the story forget booking just order a take out. You get served much quicker thanks for nothing

Great food and friendly service. Lamb bhuna was awesome, cooked just the way it should be - tender meat, really tastey, no runny sauce. Will definitely be back!

The food was kind of good, was hot and presented well. But it was served very late.

Ate here as part of a big group for a joint birthday. Ordered from set menu and despite just opening food came in rinely manner. Plenty of flavour and options to choose from.

Very much an average curry house experience. Reasonable quality and value. Perhaps the only exception were the naans which were a good bit above average. However the pickle tray being a little below average, missing entirely any lime pickle or anything slightly different to the usual offerings of watered down mango chutney, chopped onion, and yoghurt based sauces. I would return due to it's convenient location for me rather than it's food quality. £16/head for full menu , take your own alcohol.

Absolutely delicious curries. So well cooked & each curry has its unique flavour. The staff are wonderful & really friendly but not over-bearing. The place has been done out really tastefully & the restaurant is spacious, clean & well presented. It's take your own booze which keeps cost low. Perfect x

I don't like leaving bad reviews but the Starters where OK. Mains where OK-ish, my main had far two much coriander in it which spoiled it so much. The staff seemed grumpy. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

The best Asian restaurant in Castleford by far .

Starters are pretty small for what you pay for, 3 pieces of fish…? Onion bhajis were small, over battered Mains…Ordered two diff currys and came out looking and tasting the same. Only good thing was the garlic naan Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

Really disappointed. We went on valentine's day and had Onion Bhajis which tasted like they were shop bought. The curry we had was tasteless, both ordered different things but tasted the same! To top it off, the staff are miserable and there's more atmosphere in Morrisons Café.

Been here a couple of times when we have stayed at our friends house. Service is really good as is the food which is not to spicy either depending on your taste. We would highly recommend Yusuf's to anyone.

First time ordering from here and probably the last. Delivery took well over the estimate given. The curry dishes both needed to be microwaved as they were barely room temperature. The food itself was very oily. We ordered two completely different main dishes but could not tell them apart so we're certain we were both given the same curry, which isn't great as one of the mains we ordered should've had chicken and mutton in, but there was no mutton in either of the mains we received. Expensive for what you get and their only saving grace was their rice and naans. Never again

Lovely place, went with friends for an evening meal. Food a bit too spicy but lovely.

Food was very very nice. Downside was the wait time. I ordered on the phone, arrived 20 mins after ordering. Was told 5 mins when I arrived, 10 mins passed. I asked where my food was, again, 5 mins. Waited another 10 and it didn't arrive. asked again and it arrived within 5 minutes. All in all good, but they need to tell accurate wait times to avoid frustrated customers.

Beautiful sitting area. Perfect location for anyone shopping around the Castleford City Centre for Good food. Affordable. And very courteous staff. Downside: cash only and they don’t sell alcoholic beverages but you can bring in your alcoholic drinks.

The food is really good. Monday to Thursday they have the deal on where its a starter, main and side for £13.99 so fantastic value as it is also BYOB. Just let down a bit by the slightly rude waiter. They also got one of our meals wrong but we were a large group so it's to be expected. Will go back.

Just had another absolutely top notch take away from Yusuf's. Chicken Balti boiled rice and chapattis onion bhajis Full of flavour from start to finish onion bhajis beautiful, chapattis light and fresh. Will be ordering again and if possible going to restaurant.

Great food and well turned out polite, friendly staff. We visit India regularly and the food is as authentic as it comes, I would highly recommend booking at the weekend as it does become busy but deservedly so.

First visit since it was taken over by new ownership and wow that was a pleasant surprise! Other half's korma was sweet but surprisingly with a little more kick which she enjoyed! I had the Handi gosht (love meat on the bone) and have to say it was excellent, deep and rich in flavour, meat fell off the bone. All accompanied by naan bread dripping in garlic butter and excellent service (plus going above to make me a jar of mango lassi), one that I'd recommend for sure

Went yesterday evening with 2 friends. The meal was average....literally just finished meal, bill was presented and we were told they needed the table. Would be courteous to let customer know how long you have the table for when seated. We were in there 45 mins and had 2 courses. Felt very rushed, wouldnt recommend and won't be returning 👎

I very rarely have Indian take away, maybe twice a year, I don't like them... usually. But I'd definitely have from these guys again. Everything tastes fantastic, although quite 🥵 for me as I'm not used to it I guess. I'll go to the restaurant itself next time, the staff seemed very friendly and helpful when I went in to collect my food.

Excelllent food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Food here was terrific, if always a little on the spicy side, even the korma. Prices slightly higher than your typical curry house, but worth it (its cash only). You can take your own beer which keeps cost down. Medium sized Restaurant is well decorated with plenty of space between tables. Staff are polite but don't engage much. One area that needs improvement is the state of the men's toilets, it needs some tlc and I would suggest that staff should mop the floor regularly during the evening to avoid the inevitable mess. Recommended.
