Our order was an hour later than the expected hour delivery time. Staff were unable to locate our foot or contact the driver who was out with the order.

Called in for tea, Monday so was quiet, but lovely staff & service. Menu seems to have had a revamp, lots of choice, our food was delicious, hot & tailored to our taste. The only bit not great was the coffee, they had no milk, so offered cream, which was fine, but the coffee was dire, maybe try a better brand lol otherwise a very nice meal served by lovely staff.

Always go here, food is excellent, for first time arranged for delivery, food never arrived, rang them, was told once it leave restaurant not there problem, no offer to resolve or contact driver, will now not use.

Totally disgusting meal ,it looked as if it had been on the side for ages ,we have been before in restaurant this was a take away , Will never go there again ,keep well away.

Do not order through uber eats. We got the wrong delivery, nothing anyone will do. Down £30 till a refund gets paid so unless I reorder and pay again I will not get my order tonight..

Went with family for my 70 birthday booked 4 weeks in advance a specific table as there was more room round it when we arrived tried to put us somewhere else very cramped, after a small discussion got the table we wanted, ordered starters, and main meal all excellent no complaints whatsoever, only small complaint bill was more or less put on table very hastily to get our payments as if they were glad to see the back of us to get the table ready again did not really have time for the meal to settle abit before they wanted us out saying that will probably be going again

Certainly not as friendly as it used to be. We were pointed to where we should sit and then handed two very grubby menus. We weren't informed that there was a special offer on and the waiter seemed put out when i asked what the offer was. The food was ok but not as tasty as previous visits and at no time were we asked how our meal was. The whole place was unorganised and very inattentive. As soon as our plates were cleared a waiter put the bill on the table and walked away. i think i'll give it a miss in future. P.S Don't wipe the rim of the table with your wet towel. eeewwww.

As someone from Birmingham, I’ve tried countless Indian restaurants and Desi gastropubs, so I tend to have high expectations. While working in Yorkshire, I decided to try a place I found on Uber Eats. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, as many “Indian” restaurants that aren’t Desi-style mixed grill pubs often disappoint me. However, this place completely surprised me. The Punjabi-style Prawn Karahi I ordered was one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Huge credit to the chefs and the restaurant for crafting such a fantastic dish. The only constructive feedback I have would be to use a bit less oil in the curry and perhaps refine the recipe for the mint sauce. While it’s decent, it tastes like a mix of yogurt and store-bought mint sauce. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal, and I’m looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person someday.

Authentic fresh food that is full of flavour. The only thing that lets this place down is the service times... ridiculous. But if this is because everything is made fresh it could be forgiven. Staff are very friendly and helpful and I would love to visit again.

Booked Jusuf’s Spice Lounge on Bank holiday Sunday. Three of us went for dinner. The table time was 19:00 and it was ready for when we got there. We started with the poppadom and pickle tray. Then we had starters of mixed Kebab and Onion Bhaji. Very good tasty starters. I ordered Meat Madras. My Wife ordered Chicken Biryani. My Son ordered Chicken Jalfrezi with Pilau Rice and Peshwari Naan. My Madras was nice and piping hot with the right level of chilli and spice. Really nice tasty spicy hot curry. My Sons’s Jalfrezi was spicy hot and he said it was one of the best he’d had. The Biryani my wife had was really nice and she said it was very good and really tasty. Everything was cooked well and the service was warm and welcoming and attentive. They were always asking if everything was ok and if we need anything more or more drinks. You can take your own alcohol with free corkage. We had soft drinks. It is cash only, which I pre-asked by email. I highly recommend Jusuf’s Spice lounge, the food was exceptional. Well be definitely returning.

Monday night visit for 2. In a world where Asian takeaways are everywhere Yusefs spice lounge ride high above the rest. Set in the heart town centre this former furniture shop is a dine in or takeaway restraunt where quality of food seems to be the priority rather than cheap high volume. They do a weekday set menu of poppudoms and pickles, a starter, a main amd a sundry for 15.99 that comfortably fed me and my partner to the point where we thought we could have maybe shared and in the end brought a meals worth home. The menu is manageable and varied but not pages and pages of options to get lost in. The tardis like inside has plenty if seats for guests. The staff will glide around never in your face but never hiding away and are considerate but not overbearing. The quality if the food is sublime. Simple traditional dishes are elevated to gourmet flavours and the specials carry just the right level of exotic but hints of something familiar so you aren't too scared to try them. It's a bring your own booze place but soft drinks are for sale. Now the cost.......it is essentially the same or as near as to other takeaways or eateries of East and Central Asian influence. You get restraunt quality and atmosphere at takeaway prices which is incredibly surprising! Parking can be a little tricky during early afternoon as it is town centre, but there is a street behind it that isn't restricted in the evening so shouldn't be an issue. It's always busy on weekends so I'd book if you're planning a trip at peak times, but try and aim.for the midweek where the place ticks over steadily, but isn't rammed.

Sorry to say this was the worst Lamb (well mutton here) Rogan Josh I've ever had. Rest of food ok but very average. Positives are the prices are decent and you can take your own alcohol. It's cash only like most places these days and it's large but wasn't too busy when we went, so it was strange that we felt constantly rushed to leave.

Delivery timing kept changing after an hour and a half wait and it took over 20 minutes to arrive after the order left the restaurant so the food was cold. Would not recommend ordering a takeaway.

We placed our order at 7pm, it didn’t arrive until 9pm which marks 2 hours! The food was flat cold, which made enjoyable - I have reheat all items but chips as they’re not made for reheating! Overall, extremely frustrated and definitely disappointed.

Absolutely superb. Although they were busy they fit 12 of us in at the last minute for my birthday. Not only were they accommodating, the food was superb and the staff were brilliant.

It was amazing as always and delivered nice and early. The Korma is to die for and the naan breads are just delicious.

The food and service is first class. The restaurant is nicely kept. You can take your own alcohol and the glasses are free of charge. They only accept cash but that is not a problem as there are 2 cash machines opposite side of the road if you turned up unaware. I like the place.
