Lovely food, great atmosphere and even better service

Lovely little cafe ,dog friendly and always plenty of customers ,nice coffee and scone

It was all just OK. Coffee. Scrambled egg with smoked salmon. Orange juice. Average. I wouldn’t recommend it or go again.

Full breakfast was super tasty and plentiful. The only thing I did not like was the sub standard condiments, I will never understand why you would use top quality ingredients to make a breakfast and then offer rubbish brown,red sauces. Nevertheless I will certainly be calling in again. I have scored 5 on all fronts as I really enjoyed the breakfast.

This used to be a regular haunt. We’d meet family or friends for breakfast or lunch, or meet for coffee and a chat. The staff were always friendly and the food good , made with quality produce. Sadly that has all changed and our last few visits have been such a disappointment that we won’t be going back. Has it changed hands? Cos if it has, they need to seriously up their game on every front.

It is one of the more expensive places around the area. We knew on arrival it was popular as it was really busy, We managed to get a table. Unfortunately, this place was a little too busy, and there just wasn't enough staff. I got up to order but was told they would come to us. I waited just short of 15 minutes, which in fairness isn't all that bad. But after the order, we were told we were looking at 20 to 30 minutes wait for food, which ended up being 40 to 45 minutes. There was one chef in the kitchen, and he was doing his best. The food when it did arrive, though, was spot on could not pick fault with it. I'm happy it was worth the wait, we ordered breakfast omelette and a standard breakfast, and there was plenty. (Please see photos attached) In comparison to other places, though, the price here is on the higher end of the spectrum.

They call the lasgana .,it was just a mince sauce. No pasta ., home made chip yes of they come from ice land . Don’t bother . The wait was over 40 minutes

Visit this cafe now and again and always found service very good and staff are friendly and helpful. Can be a bit pricy compared to some other places,. Food is always looking lovely and tastes just as good as it looks. The inside is ample but can be a bit cramped when busy.There seems to be a lot of regular customers, despite competition from other places nearby. You would hope that staff are paid more than the minimum wage and looked after in other areas too as they go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble for them, and it would be a shame if they were to go elsewhere and work. I know as I hear this from other cafe owners in Wakefield who are desperate to keep good staff.

first visit here last week and can honestly say the full english was absolutely beautiful and the latte was great too the staff was very polite and helpful i will definitely be calling again really enjoyed my visit thanks.

Best sandwich I've had in years, delicious. Presentation was amazing with the fruit bowl on the side. Great service, well worth the cost.

After moving to Horbury recently and we are trying out some of the local cafés and pubs we thought we would try here for lunch. I ordered a latte but got dark chocolate on the top 😳. The reason I don't order cappuccino is because I don't like dark chocolate. Lattes are made with milk. Anyway ordered the lasagne which came with a lot of fries Wasn't really a lasagne more like bolognese with toppings. Tasted fine and my partners sandwiches were good. Only had one drink as we weren't offered any more nor anything else Plenty of staff, no interest in the customers. The staff are unhappy, don't smile and say it all really. Weren't interested in keeping the place clean and tidy Not sure how you can work in such an untidy place. Highlights. The cafe could do with a clean and tidy The outside could do with a tidy The staff could tidy up especially if they are just walking around between the two outlet's I'm not sure how you miss the paper and plastic bottles rolling around the floor unless no one is interested. Very slow service No interest in us after we had ordered I would have had another drink ? A cake would have been nice to finish with ? I don't normally give such a long review but there's plenty to say I think this place could have potential with the right staff. Pretty poor experience Give it a 2 star as the food was served hot and it was tasty 😋

Service has gone down hill on my last visit, the place is dirty (cobwebs full of dead flys by the booths and floors filthy), they even charge 50p for a glass of tap water!!! In response to your message: if we left a nappy behind then it was an accident and I apologise, it certainly wasn't intentional (obviously not helped by the fact you have no baby changing facilities or anywhere to put a nappy). That doesn't take away from the fact the place needs a clean. Seriously, just a look at the floors under the seats where the booths are, take a look down next to the area by the front window. We've been regulars at your cafe until now. You also put multiple 50p's on the bill for glasses of water, then said it was for the ice in the tap water? Either way, if you're going to charge for ice in tap water when buying £40's worth of breakfasts with coffees & smoothies etc. then you should probably let people know in advance or put it on the menu. Otherwise it just feels underhand.

Very clean, the staff are very friendly it is a great atmosphere. The food is really good and fresh. Excited to come back.

Worst cafe experience in Horbury. Ordered Food and coffee at 10:35am the drinks came straight away, however after waiting 30 plus min still no sign of food. Just left the cafe now without eating. When I initially asked the waitresses I was told it was on its way only for 10 min later I asked another waitress and she asked what we ordered (clearly had forgot about our order). After watching them deliberate between themselves who was to blame I ended up leaving without eating any breakfast. Dealt terribly by staff, no sign of a refund for the drinks as a good will gesture. Will not be attending again with much better cafes on high Street!!!

Good cafe, nice staff,coffee and food.

Poor service from one waitress she must have come to our table 5 times before getting our order due to products been out of stock when asked which choices we're available to have in omelet she shrugged her shoulders and said what ever you want then returned to say what we asked for the didn't have! Asked again what we could have for her replied to be urmmmm. Very disappointed as was my partners first visit and I'd always raved about how nice it is as I've been lots of times in the past.

The food was nice but service was bad. The waitress got our order wrong and persisted to say that was what we ordered rather than apologising for her mistake and taking the food back. We waited over half an hour for drinks. No track and trace in place either. Pretty poor.

Decided to try somewhere different. Had high Hope's as the cafe's decor was nice, appeared really clean and seemed to have a nice atmosphere. Menu choice on the whole looked good. As it was breakfast I choice the Full English and asked for the vegetarian option (it was printed as an option under the Full Breakfast description) and a white coffee. The coffee turned up black, my partners full breakfast came with items she asked not be be on the plate and an inedible sausage and my vegetarian options consisted of bean, egg, toast and.... fried peppers and aubergine? No vegetarian sausage or bacon, no hash brown etc?! The egg was vile, had to cover with sauce ans sandwich between the toast. Such a shame will never return.

Very cosy really good ambience and great food

Called in shortly after they opened in the morning. Sat outside and the waitress came and took our drinks order which she delivered promptly but then before we could order our meals she disappeared so we waited for her to reappear but she did not. We then went into the cafe and placed our order. i can only presume the waitress did not think we were eating but at no time did she ask us. Maybe she had not quite woken up properly. Anyway our order came eventually and as before it was tasty. The menu for breakfast is good from full english to a healthy option. Overall decent

Service nice, food a bit patchy (bland Eggs Benedict, sweet chilli sauce in Cajun Chicken Sandwich). Cappuccino ok, but again a bit flat flavour-wise

Always excellent value for money here. The food is extremely tasty and service is quick and polite.

Enjoyed a walk into Horbury to have our first breakfast at Caffe Capri. We were seated and served quickly and staff seemed warm and helpful. My husband enjoyed a full English Breakfast and I had salmon and scrambled eggs, all washed down with lovely tasting cappuccinos. Pricing was fair and the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. We will definitely be visiting again very soon.

We've been here quite a few times and never been disappointed; lovely staff and gorgeous food at a decent price. You rarely have to wait long for your food and drink either. The place does fill up quickly as soon as it has opened and tables are not overlarge but we love the place. Parking is available if you are reasonably early.

Had ham and mushroom omelette. Came with chopped fruit and was really nice. Got a pot of tea though and no cups. Then ordered another pot and no milk. Just meeded a bit kore attention on service.

The last two visits to this once outstanding Cafe have left me feeling that the cafe is now owned by someone else. Payman please come back. The food was poor the service rude. Nothing else can be said. I hope it changes its name shortly as the Capri Brand is just that. This poor cafe will smear the brand name.

Fab little breakfast, seats inside or outside where you can watch the world go by. The only downside is that the food is on the more expensive side. Enjoyable though!

It’s nice to see something different in Horbury which is a lovely little town with some excellent independent shops and should be supported or we’ll loose the facilities. Very clean cosmopolitan cafe with excellent decor and a lovely outside space on a clean newly refurbished paved area, wicker style tables and chairs with a well maintained barrier between the cafe area and the pavement. Great to sit and watch the world go by with a well prepared drink. Excellent snack and light lunch menu with plenty of choice from traditional to fresh fruits and yogurt will definitely come again.

Excellent service, staff and food. Easy to access, with parking to the side. Also carpark nearby if the previous one is full.

What a lovely little café.Two of us had breakfast here and were impressed, will definitely be back.

This place was an absolute favourite of mine. But following my most recent visits I really dont know if I would return. I used to love the prawn and avocado salad but recently got a take out and for some reason this salad now had olives with it which just didnt work. Today we came for brunch. The eggs are no longer poached 'free hand' but in a poacher which definately ruins them. The croissants were dry and burnt. Beef baguettes were made with stale bread and only french fries on offer not the lovely home made chunky chips that they used to do. Staff were friendly enough but did start clearing the table even though the children were still eating and the place just generally lacked the lovely atmosphere it used to have. As mentioned I am genuinely disappointed as I loved this place.

Visited today for a coffee. The staff were very helpful and efficient.We didn’t order anything else because we discovered my husband had forgotten to bring his credit card, very embarrassing.The staff were fab and told us this wasn’t a problem as they recognised us as regular customers at their restaurant at Horbury bridge. How nice was that, we will of course bob back with the money. Thank you for being understanding, it is nice to be trusted in this day and age.
