Affordable and well presented street food in a great pub with well kept beer

Made the trip from Huddersfield to this pub because of the quality of their beer, I wasn't disappointed.

Love it! There is always a great atmosphere to accompany the lovely Ossett brewery drinks. The Thai street food gives this place a unique edge and the staff are fantastic! Great job 👏

Love everything about this pub. The kitchen staff are so knowledgeable and accommodating to my intolerances while maintaining a beautiful standard, and the girls behind the bar are efficient and welcoming. They’re friendly from the moment you walk in and keep the atmosphere high; the atmosphere of the bar is testament to the girls that work there.

Fantastic canal and riverside position. Lovely outside seating area. Beautifully refurbished inside but only sells Street Food. Nothing very Elfie.

The choice of drinks is excellent. Food is so good. The vibe is lovely. Lots of different places to sit. Love it!

Sunday afternoon visit, live music in bar so difficult to hear, cars parked on/blocking main road/ bridge, a poseurs paradise

Fabulous wings, ribs and sides. Unfortunately no desserts. Food was amazing and so is the venue and the staff. Was all boarded up last time we passed…it was worth the wait!

Amazing bar, stopped here whilst buying a car in the area. Good selection of beers, SALT on tap. Great bar, great food.

Lovely pub but pricey. There is a drinks menu but not a price on it to be seen. Paying city centre prices for wot is a village pub. If you have money to burn then fair play but you won’t be retired like me at 50 😁

Fabulous spot between the river and the canal. A very warm welcome from the girls serving and a great choice of beers on tap. Food was absolutely fabulous too - we had vegetarian dogs and bao buns and loaded fries - it was all delicious. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully next time the sun will shine so we can take advantage of the beautiful, extensive outdoor seating.

Situated nicely between the river and the canal, there is outdoor seating alongside the canal, and indoor seating with a viee over the river. The food was delicious, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. However, sitting by myself, when I went to get a second drink, two seperate members of staff tried to clear my half eaten meal away.

Lovely pub , friendly staff, dog friendly and lovely asian street food was a bonus. Lovely interior with outdoor seating front and back.

Great selection of beers in idyllic surroundings. Got to enjoy some nice ale from Salt Brewery and Bao by the side of a canal. In nice weather it was a delight.

Excellent food as usual, prepared and served by very friendly and helpful staff. We tried the chilli and ginger loaded fries with our chicken bao buns and everything was delicious.

Went to meet an old friend for a catchup pint. Great service, very friendly, plenty of seating options - indoor, outside at the back or outside by the river.

First visit since the 90s as don't live here anymore. Really enjoyed the fresh new ideas. Firstly the selection of drinks and beers was v good, traditional ales and ipas. We went on a Saturday night and found a cosy corner and yes it's a modern self serve type affair so order your stuff at the bar and collect it. Personally I'm used to that, takes less time and more direct. Sampled a range of food. All pretty good. Came to 50 for the food and was pretty full so cheap for an evening meal. Couldn't see any dessert options though. A good mix of young and experienced both staff and customers. It's what the town needs.

We've been to the Bingley a few times now and it never fails to deliver! Good selection of beers and cider both on draught and bottled. Lots of seating both in and outside. The food is excellent as always from BaoBros, a bit on the pricey side, but when it's that tasty, I don't mind.

Beer and company first class, food not to my taste so I will not comment

Great pint of IPA,regular beers, drinks also available and kettle chips. Interior decor nicely done, inside and outdoor seating wonderful. Parking is limited maybe 8-10 cars max, but certainly not as bad as others have mentioned (maybe I got lucky) but it was a busy Sunday sunny afternoon ☀ Staff really made us feel welcome, great for couples, families, groups, nice clientele appeared to be and staff make this place feel wonderful. Definitely will return to try food next time as well.

Great pub & the loaded fries are amazing. I had the ones with belly pork 'durtiest of all' I think it was called - wow !!

£7 for a small piece of bread the size of my nutsack with a not so crunchy piece of pork belly that stick to your teeth as you eat loaded with mayo that falls out the moment you pick it up The lobster bao was £13.50 cheap frozen ingredients frozen small lobster pieces with sea food sauce and a small piece of bread the scale of about 3-4 inches served on a fake small piece of bamboo no plates and given a pathetic annoying beeping device that tells you when its ready. You have to collect your food yourself.

Food was the size of a golf ball, and the food was definitely not fresh it probably been in the freezer for at least a year, and they charge ridiculous prices would not recommend.

The food was tiny, frozen food, and the price is ridiculously high, wast of money and time would be more filling to eat a hotdog or sandwich. Buy if you like being ripped off.

We moored outside and popped for a drink and decided to get back for a meal. It was very tasty. The only thing we didn’t like were the wooden forks not easy to eat the very tasty dirty fries. However thoroughly enjoyed the food. This is the third in chain we have visited and they have all been good.

Can be very noisy at busy times as the sound seems to reverberate around the pub

Only called in for Drinks, but since the place has been done up, and reopened, there is now quite a crowd, and the Food is quite good too. Plenty of Tables both inside and out, and a real nice place to chill out.. Well Worth a Visit. 🍺👍

Love the food here. Great flavours and dirty fries. Be prepared to get stuck in and sticky. Great range of beer too including a gluten free ale on tap.

Super nice food, layout downstairs and upstairs trendy and inviting. I do wish though there was signage outside for the restaurant inside.

Lovely pint of Madri. There’s a car wash opposite too so pint while you wait… can’t go wrong there!! The hand wash in the toilets smells lovely too, win win win.

Great to see this fabulous building back open. Great Asian street food, a variety of beers & other drinks, and great service and the warmest of welcomes from the staff.

Drove past the place on our way to go outdoors. Looked very nice sat between a river an a canal. Decided to give it a try on our way back. Car park was a little tight but not a problem. First impressions of the outside and in very nice but that's where it ended. Ordered 2 coffees and meals/sandwiches. I was given a buzzer and told when it goes off I had to go up one flight of stairs and get the food myself. Not a good start as I am touching 60 and have a knee injury so to carry food downstairs was not fun. It pride itself on street food, served on a piece of wood ( what's wrong with plates) I don't know what the food was served in, but mine looked like it was in a folded cow pat which gave me an excellent tongue work out prising it off the roof of my mouth and back of my teeth and for this excellent oral work out they charged my twice. I rang the day after to let them know they have charge me twice, they told me to come back and they would refund the amount back to my card but given the distance it was not economical to do so or, rase a dispute with my bank (no offer to send the money back via bank transfer). So 14 day later (waiting period to rise a dispute) I'm still waiting a refund. Recommendations. If your on a budget, expect meal to be brought to your table or have dentures. think twice

Great for some delicious street food and fantastic choice of beer. Super outdoor space, overlooking the canal, for when the weather improves. Friendly staff. Gets rather loud when busy due to open floor to ceiling area. Real open fires and they accept well behaved pooches.

Tasty food loaded fries, 1 with halloumi and 1 with belly pork. But served in cardboard tubs, with wooden cutlery. Very difficult to stab halloumi with a wooden fork, and end up eating meat off the top first then fries and sauce, due to lack of space in tub. Was told after we could have tipped both dishes onto the one board (which meals were brought out on), but it would have been in centre of table, too far to share really. Staff were friendly. Nice surroundings, great choice of music. Would be lovely sitting out on a summers day x

Lovely place, fantastic food, we had the Lobster Baodog and a chicken Bao. Warm and cosy feeling especially when sat upstairs. Can't wait to go back in the summer as there was loads of outdoor seating.

Had a lovely Saturday lunch here. Ordered loaded fries, Dutty with pulled beef brisket and Duttiest with crispy pork belly. Both were great and reasonably priced. It's advisable to arrive early on Saturdays as it starts to get busy around 2pm and there are limited parking spaces. However, arriving at 12.30pm, we were able to park easily and find a table next to one of the fires, which was very welcome on a cold January day. Looking forward to visiting again in summer as there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Fantastic food and a great selection of dishes. These are all street food styles. Hot wings are amazing, as are the spicy Korean ribs. Not had anything I didn't like. Great choice of beers and a beautiful sitting area by the canal.

I came in for a pint of Guinness gave bar man a 20 pound note ordered a Guinness then went up to toilet came down my Guinness was ready I forgot I gave him. A 20 and he was honest gave me the change respect to that staff and enjoyed the pint

Great pub, got everything going for it, winter log fires, great for outdoor space in the summer, food fantastic, our go to pub. Also our four legged friends are welcome.

Called in for a drink after a walk. Ben behind the bar, recommended the Queen Rat which was delicious. Ben was very informative regarding the drinks on offer.We didn't try the food but we will as it looked delicious.

Called in for a drink while out for a stroll. Really nice beer and outside areas. Dog friendly, was offered a bowl of water for the pooch without even having to ask. Didn't try any food, but it smelt good.

This is a very trendy pub for the younger generation selling street food. Personally it's not one I will rush back too, but that's only because it's not what I want in a pub. I'm of a more senior generation and I like to be served at the table. When you order food here it's upstairs. You get an electronic device that starts flashing when your food is ready and you have to collect it from upstairs. I could see this could be a problem for some people. They do offer you a wooden tray to carry your food on. The cutlery is wooden which i particularly can't stand. The food was of good quality for posh sandwiches, but in my mind expensive.

We were only supposed to be going for a couple of drinks, ended up staying all night! The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the manager, Brodie, who was chatty and welcoming. Been back since and was just as great!

Visited the Bingley on Saturday night with friends! We all really enjoyed our night! The vibe and staff were both amazing!! Will definitely return and recommend to anyone!

Atmosphere right through the door was very comforting. Little music, welcoming staff and warm. Food upstairs is great quality and well prepared. We sourced the soy ginger & salt and peppers ribs, pork belly bao bun and chips. Would highly recommend, great place with great food and people!

Food is over priced for its average taste. It's a lovely pub but having to order food at the till and run upstairs to collect it is a bit of a joke. It all looks very lovely but for what it is and how it tastes; expensive!

Great pub restoration, good range of alcoholic beers, tho no stout and poor selection of low alcohol beers. Nice atmosphere. Bao buns and chips were over priced, over spiced and no heathy options on the menu - all Bao had deep fried inners, which made them a bit dry and the pulled pork bun was a total rip off. Won’t rush back.

Never been before, we will be back for sure. The bao buns and loaded fries were delicious. Need to go back and try the ribs and wings. Beer selection was really good, salt brewery so you know its got some good beers.

Been a couple of times recently & just love this place. The decor & ambience is fab & quick bar service even when busy. The street food is amazing so fresh & tasty & love the fact you go order it from the kitchen & then get buzzed when it’s ready. It’s our new fave go to place for a couple drinks & a tasty nibble. We went this week on a cold wet evening so obviously wouldn’t be sat out by the canal which is a great spot but it was lovely & cosy inside.

Great atmosphere. It was very busy and unfortunately you can't book a table. Food was great and the atmosphere was good too.

I used to go here pre refurb and it was a great boozer then but now, it has a touch of class! The refurb is immense, the outside area is perfect for chillin with friends, furry or not, and enjoying the pukka pints served here. Not eaten here yet but one me and dawg will. Enjoy!
