We had a fantastic cocktail making lesson with the most brilliant mixologist, Nathan! Thank you so much Nathan for your knowledge…and patience!

Greeted on a cold Monday evening by Herbie and Harry running the bar and tables with ease. New to the area and in for one evening they took me under their wings and we're incredibly friendly, a credit to the company. Harry suggested vegan adjustments to the food selection which worked well, as well as offering loads of industry insight into the best places to go and check out after I'd eaten there. Industry recommendations go a long way so this was appreciated. Wherever this employee ends up he is a credit to his organisation and should be acknowledged!

Ordered a kebab just after my friend and one person waiting in front. My friend waited 15 mins and mine was 15 mins after that. Extremely disappointed. Why didn’t someone tell me there was a half an hour wait..

Used to love Zizzi’s but feel like it’s definitely gone down hill. Everything is so oily. We had a sharing board to start, and it seemed like the courgette and arancini were put straight into the little pots after coming out of the fryer, instead of allowing the oil to drip away, meaning they were just sat in oil, which wasn’t very appetising. The main I had was also extremely oily, the chicken was sat in a little pool of oil, and so was the kale and green beans which had been overcooked and were chewy. The potato’s I had also looked as though they had been deep fried, but not cooked well as the middle of the potato’s were hard. The pasta dish was nice enough, but definitely not worth the price charged. We also found the open kitchen odd for this type of restaurant. Sitting next to the kitchen is loud, with constant banging and the chefs shouting service very loudly every few minutes. It also doesn’t feel appropriate when the manager is telling the chefs off in front of customers, it’s embarrassing for them, and awkward for customers. Food being sent back and then being inspected by managers for customers to see was bizarre. And then openly saying, well she said it’s still frozen and it’s not, accompanied by eye rolling was unprofessional. I hope the customer who returned the food didn’t see or hear this, because if it was me it would have made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Food hygiene by the waiting staff was questionable. There was a guy who seemed to have a bit of cough, who without washing his hands placed someone’s leftover pizza into a box and then gave it back to them, he was also seen leaning over the food whilst it was waiting to go out. All in all the food is below average for the price, it is also a cashless restaurant. I think they really need to up their game considering the amount of other restaurants in this area. I wish we had eaten elsewhere and I can’t see us returning anytime soon.

Arrived for lunch, a little wait for food as it was very busy inside When food arrived it was wrong on the first attempt and then again on the second but as my partner was already halfway through her meal, and I didn’t want to wait any longer I made do with what they served second time around. Staff very charming and compensated at the end of the meal for the mixup but wouldn’t come back in a hurry. £15+ for two beers….bit steep!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch on 6th October. The Eton mess was the best I have tasted. Would highly recommend.

Always good food, took a little while for the food to come out but to be fair to them it was so busy! I did ask how long for our food at one point as we were unsure of when we'd recieve it, Chloe who dealt with us was lovely, she apologised and went to check on our food and brought it out almost straight away, and gave us free bottomless soft serve for the wait, so thank you that was very kind. I also ordered another meal on the app separately after my own to take home for my partner; realised it wouldn't be "take out" so asked them to box it all up, and they did so quickly with no issues. Overall great service, polite staff and delicious food, Thank you all!!

A lot of people about on day we visited so service a bit slow. Nice cake and acceptable cup of tea. Prices perhaps a bit high and portions not large. Allow dogs which is always a plus point with us.

This was for a private reception after a funeral. Food was good and staff were excellent. Good pint too .plenty of parking. Would recommend

DO NOT order from here, you only get half the food, then when you ring to discuss it with them, they were rude and put the phone down on me. This was a special treat for the family for a birthday..ruined, will never order from the them again..Just Rude!
