One of the only accessible places to go for a nice coffee within a sensible distance of where I live. Very casual and chilled vibe in here: staff are so helpful and lovely the ramp inside up to the back seating area is quite steep but when they noticed that my chair struggled they went and opened a back door and directed me in there. Toilets aren't accessible in my opinion but the sainsbury's 2 minutes away has a crackin disabled loo (needs a radar key)

Rude lady on the till as soon as we entered the shop. Not a great shop if you want to have breakfast or a coffee. Try to keep local business going but get pushed away and a walk into town and give the money to a friendly Starbucks instead.

Looked nice and clean and smart. But they don't do a veggie cooked breakfast. In this day and age? You're next door to Sainsbury's. Go and buy some veggie sausages! So...we didn't stay. Shame

There is one customer toilet and the door handle on the inside of the cubicle was loose and came off in my hand. This was an exact repetition of what happened to me at this cafe a few weeks ago. I had to reattach the handle before I could get out. The staff said it had been fixed but had gone wrong again. I did not use the facility as I was completely unnerved by the experience. I left my drink and went to use the facilities at a nearby supermarket. I think to knowingly leave the toilet in this condition shows disrespect for the customer. At the very least, information on the problem and guidance as to the nearest available facilities could have been provided before taking an order.

nice staff very clean coffee is good and food was fresh made not the usual already made i hade a toasty and the cheese was tasty and lots of it and cost much less than the usual costa type café

I love beanies cafe I go nearly everyday to have a cup of tea by the it’s one of the best teas I’ve tasted.It’s the best place to be the best service and friendly staff always ready to help, I always come here with my friends and would highly recommend it to anybody

On arrival, one server busy texting. Ordered 2 Bacon & Egg sandwiches. Immediately the Microwave was used to give us a badly mixed omlette and 'other' meat on bread. If you want an expensive microwaved item this is your gaffe. At least Mc ds is half the money with real bacon. Don't bother.

Perfect Café situated in the centre of St. Johns. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Chicken, Cranberry and Mozzarella Panini is my #1 choice.

Beanies is a lovely coffee shop and the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help you. We make regular stops here each week and always have a lovely lunch or a coffee lots of different foods to choose from I would highly recommend them.

I ordered the 2 big breakfasts, bacon panini, sausage panini, bottle of oasis and a cappuccino. The panini's was very nice but probably not worth the money 3.99 each :o. The breakfasts were basic for £6.99 you get 2 tiny sausages 2 meh bits of bacon horrible scrambled egg, I like my eggs fried the toast came soggy probs due to the temperature inside the box it came in and beans. I know it doesn't say it comes with tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms or black pudding but come on for £6.99 you would expect it to come with it but nope. The cappuccino was fine ended up costing nearly £30 definitely way over priced you should get some advice from Poppins as they send out beans in a separate cup covered aswell as plum tomatoes in a cup separate that way the toast doesn't get soggy also you get everything you would expect to come with a breakfast for that price. Extremely disappointed tbh.

Nice cafe tucked into a small walkthrough. The staff are friendly and they have plenty of seating inside, and a few tables outside. I only had a coffee and a muffin, but both were good. I would go back!

Don’t get in to St John’s very often, but on visiting the area with the wife we were looking for somewhere for breakfast and found Beanies. Was going to have a breakfast, but only egg was scrambled and I just don’t do scrambled egg so opted for a sausage sandwich and the wife had bacon. Basic, but quite pleasant, but the best part of the visit was the hot chocolate. Definitely one of the best I have had in a long time. Clean tidy and Covid friendly and ladies serving very polite and friendly.

It’s a really nice tidy cafe. The staff are always cheerful and smiling. Can’t fault their customer service. I highly recommended anyone popping in to grab a bite to eat or a coffee to take away!

Beanies in StJohns having their tenth year trading this week , ten years of friendly service , Light lunchs, coffee mornings and breakfasts . With the free muffins going like ..umm, hot cakes today.

Been a regular customer here for a while now and the staff are very lovely and will try to accommodate everyone. They always get my coffee right 100% of the time as I'm very fussy. They have recently had a revamp and it's very nice and cosy.I

Quick service even though it was busy. Plate was warm, always a good sign. Toilet clean. Free paper to read. No rush when finished.

I am a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and I went in with 2 of my service users for lunch. When ordering food one or the women serving saw us there for a good 5-10mins without talking to us. Eventually when she asked to take our order she was rude, rushed and unresponsive. After getting the food ordered she was impatient with my service users getting there money out to pay. It was pure ignorance. The service users now feel that they will not want to come again. Just unacceptable.

Mostly it just comes down to 1 member of staff that snapped at my 90 year old grandmother when she went "off menu" and asked for a cheese toastie instead of the specified cheese and onion, cheese and ham etc. Cash only. Microwaved jacket potatoes BUT price is reflective and food is decent enough. The dining area is very dirty but I guess it's just cheap and cheerful. Shame about the rude waitress.

Arrived and ordered quickly for a big breakfast and pot of tea, while the wait took a fair amount of time. There were reasons for this, a large group of ladies ordered quite a lot of food, and there were only 2 people staffing the place. The food was classic breakfast foods, it was incredible and cured our hungover souls

Nice coffee and very friendly people

Myself and a few mums from the area got together for a natta and a cup of tea. The tea was hot and came in a small tea pot. The venue is small but nice and the staff are friendly. I did not eat this time but have eaten here before for breakfast and the food is nice. They don't put sauce in bacon or sausage sandwiches, you have to ask and add it your self.They don't take card payments so make sure you have cash. Sainsbury's is next door and has a cash point. Great family run cafe with a good selection of hot drinks and food from full english breakfasts to sandwiches and paninis. Friendly service and generous seating, recommended for a goos value breakfast and lunch.

Love the place, but in 2018 you really should accept card. I'll pay out of my pocket for a SumUp machine or something for you if you want!

Friendly service and comfortable environment. Here's two practical things you might want to know. First, access to the café is by the footpath that runs from the high street shops to Sainsbury's. Second, customers place their order at the counter.

Great products with a good selection of flavours syrups available and always with prompt delivery.

Lovely atmosphere Food was some of the worst tasting food I've ever had (and that's coming from a student). Come here for a coffee and a small bite, but don't come here for bigger meals because they microwave a lot of their products and rush the meats (outside was crisp, inside was just about warm...)

Desayuno pequeño con no pedimos frijoles, no me preguntó si había algo que me gustaría, lo que fue un mal comienzo. Cuando la comida llegó consistía de 1 pobres 1 trozo de tocino, salchichas, 1 rodaja de pan tostado y una pequeña cantidad de huevo cocidas huevos revueltos. La mayoría de los lugares ofrecen té o café con un desayuno, estas no lo son desde hace más de 5 libras estaba más que un poco decepcionados. Yo estaría dispuesto a ir si no había visto cómo trataron a algunos clientes tras de mí. Un grupo que había vino en personas discapacitadas entre ellos, les dijeron que era la entrada para discapacitados, sin embargo cuando intentaron usar fue parcialmente bloqueado y el cuidador los tuvimos que cambiar cosas antes de poder entrar. Por favor Beanies no toma esto como una negativa ya que trabajo en compuesta por la industria alimentaria, pero como una pieza de crítica constructiva.

I love coming here,the coffee is always good and the service is brilliant.The owner is friendly and chatty and she knows how I like my coffee,extra shot small latte not too hot!There is free 2hr parking at Sainsburys so I usually pop in before I go to the shops.My daughter loves it here too she usually have a cupcake and a hot chocolate.The food here is good I've had a panini with chicken pesto and sun dried tomatoes,it was lovely and made fresh to order.Ive seen people having the big breakfast,it looks good and so tempting!

Amigos conocimos después de trabajar en la tarde, recibimos una cálida bienvenida por parte del propietario y su esposa antes de pedir una variedad de cafés, tés y pasteles. El interior es más grande que el imaginado, con amplios asientos confortables, algunas personas estaban fuera viendo el mundo pasar mientras nos decidimos por algunas sillas cómodas escondido en una esquina. Nuestra orden fue servido en nuestra mesa y el café era muy sencillo y agradablemente caliente. No me puedo quejar de esta joya independiente, la ubicación es perfecta y mejor que los pasadores comercial king que parecen ser el Reino Unido.

I popped in for the all day breakfast deal. The service is very friendly, there is plenty of seating and newspapers are available. A pot of tea arrived to keep me going whilst the food was prepared. A plentiful breakfast, including toast: freshly cooked and piping hot. I'll certainly be back. Central in St John's (near Sainsbury's) and great value.

Meet here regularly with a friend for business and catch ups. Friendly cafe, unpretentious, good coffee and lovely bacon sarnies. They have comfy seats, and never rush you, so time to relax and chat. A regular haunt and free parking at Sainsbury next door.

we go to Beanies very often,its a lovely busy coffee shop by Sainsburys with free parking for 2hrs.My boyfriend always have a big breakfast and i have a panini,they do the best coffee in worcester and the staff are always friendly and polite and u must try their lumpy bumpy choc cake...yum!

We both had a lasagne which was hot and tasty served with salad, staff were friendly and polite. One toilet for everyone to share, not ideal and floor could do with a good clean.

Recently visited beanies with my friends and was outstanded with the quality of not only thier delicious hand made coffee but thier appetizing made to order food. Thier catering was not the only highlight of my visit as i had found the staff to be delightful, always happy and willing to serve each customer. Beanies is by far the best cafè in worcester and would strongly reccomend it to everyone.

Although the service is efficient and fast, none of the staff smile. The owner is usually working and present and is very serious and doesn't engage in any small talk if he can avoid it. This is a shame, I have been here many times and it is always the same. It shouldn't really matter, but it kind of does. No pressure to leave once you've finished which is very nice. I come back, so it's not really a problem, it would just be nice to receive a smile?

Staff can be off hand at times, efficient, never rude, but not always friendly. Food is okay, breakfast is good. Value for money. Won't accept cards so remember to take cash. Decor okay, disabled toilet has now been out of use since about 2012! Access arrangements not great. We enjoy going but it needs atmosphere.

Treated the children to tea & buns. Great choice of cakes, treats and drinks. Plenty of seating. Clean & tidy. Staff brought our order to the table. Nice & clean toilet facilities. Great offers daily and really reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our cake pit-stop.

Had coffee from here a few times now. Made wonderfully to order. Small shop down the alley from the high street to Sainsbury's. They use Lavazza coffee. Have clean facilities. Friendly staff. Lovely choice of cakes.

I come here everyday day just before I start work purely for the amazing coffee and banter with the staff.

I really like this coffee shop, good food and coffee, it's peaceful and has a nice ambiance, but the staff let it down so much. I can tell the ones who have zero time for customers are the owners/managers. The one girl I've seen who clearly is 'just staff' is lovely.

Have been coming to this coffee shop for some time now and it never fails to satisfy my food and drink needs! The big breakfast they offer here is by far the best around in terms of price and quality you get and to wash it down with one of their lattes is just sheer delight!

I've been here many times usually after a shopping trip at Sainsburys,this is my second review for Beanies because I just want to say how superb their breakfast was. It's served all day for £2:99 or a big breakfast £4:99.Good quality thick cut bacon and herby pork sausages;the coffee is always good and it's cheaper and better than the big chains in town.It does get busy, I've notice a lot of students enjoy the big breakfasts and the mornings are usually full of mums catching up after the drop off at school.This is a hidden gem and it is my sanctuary in St. John's!

Good staff and a good coffee but to be told bluntly at 5:18 we are closed by an owner who it seemed was inconvenienced by having a customer in the shop was a suprise!

Wow! Just found my new favourite coffee house in Worcester. Delicious smooth coffee and scrumptious cakes to match. The breakfasts looked good ( an excuse to pop back again!) fair play to the owners for opening an independent shop to take on the big boys. To be honest the coffee was even better than any high street chain. I for one will definitely be back. Also, didn't appreciate how big it was inside, well done Beanies keep up the good work.

Would highly recommend a visit to this coffee shop which has parking nearby. My partner and I stopped here and were pleasantly surprised how big the seating area was with a choice of outdoor seating too. We were served by friendly staff and I enjoyed one of the best buttery shortbreads I have tasted and my partner had the warm blueberry muffin which she says was absolutely yummy.

Had a lovely sweet chilli chicken panini and a latte,the coffee came out nice and hot just the way I like it.The coffee shop is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside with plenty of seating at the back.They do not except card payment only cash but luckily I just had enough cash on me but shame I didn't have enough for a cake! Lovely cafe would visit again.
