Popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday but they fitted us in on condition that we finished by 1530. Service was quick, food was delicious and we were done with 45 minutes to spare but didn't feel rushed at all. Free birthday pizza much appreciated!

Poor, turned up to our 19:30 booking, took nearly 15 minutes to be attended and seated, there were another couple behind us also. Very cold and rushed 'welcome', seated in a narrow corridor between the bar and dining area, bar covered in dirty glasses etc right next to where we was seated, lovely. Once the food arrived my chorizo carbonara was bland and luke warm. My croquettes I ordered £7.95 for 4 croquettes, to top off were barely tepid inside. Only paid as was covered by a clubcard voucher that was about to expire. Would never return and pay for this poor experience. How this place ends up with good reviews is beyond me. Go to Fuego across town, Zizzi's Worcester can't hold a candle to it. Poor service, poor food, poor atmosphere. Avoid.

Visited this restaurant whilst staying in Worcester for a couple of nights. Nicely situated and convenient for the City's bustling shopping centre and other attractions. Nice atmosphere when we went in with plenty of people having a good time. We opted for the 3 course set menu, good value for money and all very well cooked. Special mentions to Rhia & Jake who served us at the table and to Molly who was looking after things. All the staff were friendly, polite and very efficient. If we visit Worcester again we will certainly revisit.

When we first arrived we were sat at a table in a small corridor right next to the bar. People kept walking past and glasses and bottles made loud sounds. After our first drinks we asked to move into the main area and that was much better. I wouldn't be happy spending the whole meal in the original seat so I was grateful there were others available at the time. We ordered the set menu, 3 courses which was great value. The portion sizes were very generous! The calamari was huge and tasty. The pizza and calzone were very good. And desserts too. We ended up taking half home for dinner the following day. The cocktails are quite pricey so we only had a few, but they were very nice. The bill was wrong but the lady soon corrected it for us, but worth checking. All in all, I would return but would request a table in the main seating area.

Food is 5* Staff 5* I've given 3* because you're almost preasured into a 12.5% tip. I'm sorry, we're not American and shouldn't have to tip for a service that you're already paying for.

We had to wait a while for drinks, but it was busy, so it was not a problem. We ordered our two mains, which came a while later, with one of them not being what I ordered. The single meal was taken back to the kitchen to be replaced. My partner started eating her meal, and my expected meal came out, probably nearer ten minutes later. The food, by the way, was most enjoyable. After food, we asked for the bill and noticed that it contained the third meal. This was soon rectified with apologies, and we paid and left the restaurant. A bit more attention to detail would have been nice.

It was a busy Monday evening, we were kept waiting to be seated and should have realised at this point. However, we persevered but had a long wait before we could order. We had cold starters and cold main courses, with unacceptably long waits in between courses. The poor waiter (who was very helpful and friendly) was on his own and rushed off his feet plus lots of Uber deliveries. So not the relaxed date night evening my husband and I had planned. I did complain and our bill generously reflected the problems we had encountered. The food was good but the pasta was a little tough after being reheated in the microwave. Not sure I would go again as the queue of people just kept coming and whilst it’s great for Zizi’s it’s not so good for customers.

Stopped here on a Sunday evening as was staying at the travelodge opposite. Very friendly welcome and seated almost straight away. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and very busy which is always a good sign. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. We decided on the 3 course set menu which was very good value for money.

We booked a table at 7:30 for our friend’s birthday but were told to wait whilst they set the table, we had to wait by the stairs up to the toilet so felt very in the way. We ended up waiting for twenty minutes to be seated so didn’t have our starters until around quarter past eight. Service was just very slow all night. We left a small tip because it’s usually not the waiter’s faults but management.

As we were running late, I called ahead and said we would be 10 minutes. Then we got there and had a warm welcoming from the host, who then added because were super busy tonight you only have an hour to eat. I said I hope we can eat quick enough then. We sat down and immediately got asked for drinks, I said could we have a few minutes. 10 seconds later another waitress came and asked us for drinks, I told her another lady just came and we asked if we could have more time. She apologised for bombarding then a different waitress came a minute later and I said could we have a minute please. After that, I just felt like I wanted to leave because I didn’t feel welcome and pushed out but my partner said we’ve booked it so let’s enjoy it. With all things said, food was amazing. Had the new garlic mozzarella starter and 2 beautiful pizzas. Once our orders were placed it was nice but the beginning was not a nice experience.

Food was lovely, service was quite poor. We were left alone at the door whilst a member of staff looked for a table, for quite awhile, just stood by ourselves. When we were seated we had no menus or QR code to scan, then when we received menus nobody would let us catch their eye to order! We didn't have a QR code and no way to order.. Food was great but the staff seemed forgetful and didn't really want to elevate our experience. We stacked our own plates as had been finished 15 minutes & nobody had cleared.

Zizzi is always good wherever you go, we tried this one in Worcester as we were visiting family, staff were friendly and the service was quick and efficient, will be using them again.

We went to Zizzi's for my moms birthday today. We went as a family of 5, we were wanting to indulge and have a nice evening. It was dead in Worcester, with only a few other tables so therefore the servers were not under pressure like they could have been (important to note). When it came to ordering our drinks - a sold 10 minutes after we had even sat down and been given a menu - we had an Irish man come and take our order. He had been stalling for 10 minutes by bantering with his friends who were also in the restuarant. My sister in law asked for a simple, normal mojito, instead of the raspberry one. This man outright just said "no" and stared at us. His attitude was horrendous, he was incredibly rude, he then proceeded to ask us for ID (I am 25 and my parents are in their 50s!!) We thought this was a bit ridiculous because using your common sense, you could see we were all grown adults. He decided to ask his manager to decide on this and he said I could have 110ml of alcohol with food, as if I was a child. I was furious at this stage, therefore my family decided to leave and find somewhere else. We had entered and it was filthy, my dad trod on cutlery on the floor, there was food all over the seats and the floor and it was clear the pasta they served was sat on the side somewhere as well as their drinks, as told by the rude server, were all pre-mixed (not sure why you'd admit that). My dad asked to speak to the manager, I had walked away as I was fully over this situation but my dad was not spoken to with respect or kindness, his "Irish charm" was not charming, it was downright rude. Absolutely appalled and had a much better time over the road at the Cosy Club where they actually know how to serve people politely.

Food is incredible. I don’t usually eat at chain restaurants but the service and whole eating out experience is so worth it. The staff are great, can have great conversations with them and receive great recommendations. I love this place and will definitely return (within the next couple of weeks, as per)

Main meal was okay but the dessert was very disappointing and not as advertised. Didn't feel like we got our £50's worth especially with the pizette dessert which looked deflated and not as advertised. Felt very rushed and like we were being ushered out.

Lovely establishment! Good location in the square. Thank you so much to the lovely waitress, Phoebe, who recommended splitting my meal and taking it home due to an eating disability, and for recommending a better meal for me to eat, saving me both money and uncomfortability. The prices were a bit high for the portions but the pizza’s were lovely and staff very kind.

I had the belly pork. It was tasteless, the veg was overcooked. Overpriced.

Disappointing meal. Service was very slow and very hard to get anyones attention. Can completely appreciate maybe staff hadn’t turned up or it was busier than expected perhaps, but how the staff then treat you and talk to you can make such a difference, it appeared to be quite an inconvenience for her to have to deal with taking an order or clearing plates. Expensive for the food we received. We have been to Zizzi before but won’t return to this one.

The food is great. Loved the mozzarella arancini and my calzone. Not much in the way of garnish but everything arrived pleasingly hot. Service was okay, a bit slow to attend us after seating, but friendly. The real problem is that the fabric of the building is in a poor state, with locks missing off doors (the baby change) and the filthy staircase carpet held together with tape. Woodwork dinged to death and traffic marked, and the bench fabrics filthy with tide marks. That's where the stars are going.

Not great. My wife wanted a Gluten free base. So on entry we asked what Pizzas were available Gluten free. The young lady who greeted us explained she wasn't allowed to tell us, then gave us approx 15 sheets of A4 paper and said we would have to work it out. When we were seated at the table we were shown a QR code which also would tell us which Pizzas were Gluten free. After several attempts, we gave up on the QR code as the app kept freezing. We reverted back to the sheets of A4 paper with the various crosses on for fish, celery, nuts etc. After to failing to work out if we could have a Rustic Pizza on a Gluten free base, we walked across the square and had lunch at Ask Italia

I always loved zizzi but it's gone a bit downhill of late. Staff are nice, clearly work hard, and friendly but get basics of customer service in a resteraunt wrong quite a bit last couple of times I've been so I think management is a bit off probably. Disability access is OK but table spacing is too tight.

Food was very greasy, and didn't look particularly appealing. Drinks had wilting, and brown leaved mint.

We booked Zizzi for a party of 16 and everyone had a superb evening. Excellent food and excellent service throughout. The food was served at the same time, no long waits (even though it was very busy) and the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be returning on our regular visits to Worcester.

Really disappointed after visiting pre Christmas..lunch with friends. We were in a small, dark side room with no ambience at all. It was difficult to get attention of staff too. They were very busy, with a couple of large tables plus others and walk ins. I had booked, but they were struggling. Why? All the big tables would have booked in advance. There's no excuse The place really needs a spruce up, torn and dirty carpet on the staircase from reception. Scuff marks on the walls too. Food was OK.. the sticky pig pizza didn't have much meat on it at all considering the price. My Porchetta was nice. Just left feeling disappointed. Not memorable at all, except for the wrong reasons.

Service poor. We were not told until bill came that it was card only! But took cash tips! Extremely rude. Gluten free pizza bland and had vegan cheese on! Supposed to be mozzarella! Both pizzas dry. Won't be returning

Our group came here to celebrate my birthday and we found the food to be amazing, the staff very attentive and all in all had a fantastic experience. My only complaint was how close the tables are, it felt a bit like you were sitting on the laps of the people on the table next to you. The till was directly behind one of the seats so when staff would use the till, they were almost on the table with us. Maybe just move the table slightly further away? The cocktails were delicious and everyone was very happy with their meals. We even got a freebie as part of their Zillionaire club, so if you visit here often and aren't a member, it's definitely worth signing up.

Not a great birthday experience. Told we had only an hour and 15 mins - understandable when busy - upon ordering asked for no black pepper, risotto arrived overpowered by black pepper. No staff came to table to ask if ‘everything was OK’ so couldn’t say anything. Timeframe meant I couldn’t have asked to make again as other guests in our party wouldn’t be able to order dessert - ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dessert anyway. Zizis, please consider dining experience vs filling restaurant to over capacity. Won’t be returning. Very disappointed.

Normally, I often visit zizis and have a brilliant experience. However I was left disappointed after my recent visit. The food I cannot fault, we had the Christmas set menu and it was really stunning, the customer service however was diabolical. I understand how busy hospitality staff are during this period, however the attitude we received was unacceptable. After waiting 30 minutes for a table (we had booked!!), we were told by a member of staff that she “assumed we weren’t coming” because she couldn’t see us waiting behind a large group of people also waiting for a table. She told us we were a real problem, and we were made to feel uncomfortable and felt like we were being an inconvenience. After insisting to her that we were there on time, she huffed and walked off to find us a table. After more waiting, we were finally sat. After ordering our food, it was pretty much thrown at us when it arrived at the table, the waitress rushed off so quickly we didn’t even have the chance to tell her the food that had arrived was incorrect!! The problem however was resolved quickly once we had brought it to a member of staffs attention. I really hope that zizis can help out their own staff and hire more people, they are obviously under a lot of pressure as a team during this period which I can understand, however I am not happy with the attitude that came alongside this when we were just trying to enjoy our evening.

Thirty of us visited for our Christmas meal . From the initial booking to the evening the staff were fabulous. A special mention must go to Becky, who helped me with the whole process and answered many questions. The food was fabulous and great value and everyone was very happy. Drinks service and payment was efficient. The only slight criticism was that we were slightly squashed but this was efficiently solved with an extra table

If I wanted to sit in the kitchen I would get a job there. Atmosphere is noisy and hot. Overpriced food and drink. Would we go again? Absolutely not.

Booked a table for 8 for our work Christmas meal. Arrived at 7.55pm to be told we would not be able to be sat until 8.45pm. Other people who had booked tables were waiting and had been told the same. Staff told us that the only way we would get our table is if they 'stood above people and made them eat'. We did not argue with this and although not ideal at all, we went elsewhere for a drink and came back promptly at the time asked. When we arrived we were told again they were unable to seat us. One of our team is diabetic so it was very important that they had some food very soon at this point. Luckily Pizza Express were able to seat the 8 of us and we had a lovely meal, however would have been a very different story if they had not been so accommodating! Having worked in hospitality for over 15 years I am the last person to fault the staff but they were quite rude, when a member of our party saw people leaving and asked if that was our table, the response she got was 'that is everyone's table'. Will not be coming back here in a rush, such a shame as not had a bad experience like this here before (or anywhere actually!!!). Unsure how you can be so behind with booked tables. We feel we were treated terribly and would hate for anyone else's meal, especially a Christmas one, to go this way!

Always liked this restaurant in the past but the food was not up to standard and lacked in quality. The bruschetta starter was literally a piece of hard bread with a few cherry tomatoes cut in half. Not worth £6.95 The spaghetti was quite hard also, Mentioned to the manager, apologetic and didn’t charge. Not sure I’ll rush back here anytime soon.

Hadn't been to Zizzi before, and I was pleasantly surprised. Food and service was excellent. I struggle with my hearing and the atmosphere was busy, however the flavour of the food helped me ignore the noise.

Great service and food. We had a fish dish and a chicken dish both cooked to perfection 👌 The staff were excellent. Very attentive nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommended the place 👌👌👌

I came in last week with some friends for a meal, we were served by Erin who was really friendly and efficient. Overall the food was good - it would have been nice to have a bit more beef in the ragu, though other than that, no complaints at all. Sunday evening was a better time to come in, not too quiet, not as busy or noisy as some lunchtimes. Thank you all!

We were running very late for our booking and we’re very short on time for an event at the Cathedral. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating!! We explained our predicament and they took our order straight away and piping hot, freshly made food was delivered within 20 mins! Could not fault it at all!!! Well done - best service we can remember

Don't buy the cocktails. Overpriced for the amount of alcohol in them. I had mushroom risotto which was nice but child sized portion compared to pizza and pasta which were very generous

The reception from the staff was fabulous and tendered very nicely to our table near the kitchen section. All rooms are classic and unique, adding a flavour to the occasion . All surfaces(tables) are clean and cutlery was there on hand. Glasses was clean and bespoke to your drink selection Ordering 6 layer lasagna was a great selection. Abit pricey for 14 pounds but did pack a punch of taste. Overall, nice and worth a go, but i would recommend bella Italia over this establishment for potion size

Sat us by the takeaway entrance in a near empty restaurant. Unfortunately we were seated near the open kitchen, the chef kept using his touch screen phone and wiping his forehead without washing his hands before making pizza - gross! Nice to see the manager say nothing of this... Don't sit customers where they can see poor hygiene practices :(

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Zizi's after visiting the Titanic exhibition at the Guild Hall. Our table was booked for 1.30 but we arrived earlier than planned. The staff were great and seated us immediately. After we were seated, our waitress explained that they were very short staffed due to illness, so there could be some delays. Our food and drink arrived with only a slight delay. The food was tasty and hot. Be aware that the toilets are up a flight of stairs.

Amazing gluten free options, they made me feel very confident it wouldn’t be contaminated and the food was amazing too. Also really good vegan options☺️definitely recommend coming here if you have any dietary requirements

All three of us came to the same conclusion, minimum pizza toppings for maximum price. Zizzi did not meet our expectations, no where near. Good luck if you want to give them a try. X

The vegan meal I ordered was rock hard pasta and presentation was not good . The pasta was hard to chew . I complained and waitress got manager . She was apologetic and they made me a new meal which was cooked correctly this time . My partners meal Was fine and he had a nice cheesecake for dessert. I think it’s a bit overpriced .

We dined here on a Saturday evening. My partner and I ordered the meatballs to start. His were fine but mine were cold in the middle. I let the waitress know who got them changed, but when they came back (new portion), they were still cold in the middle!!! At this point the rest of our group had finished their starters so I opted not to have a starter in the end. The rest of my meal was fine but I was disappointed that they couldn’t cook the meatballs correctly, it’s not rocket science!!

Very quick pizza on a time limited table on a Saturday evening so thanks for being helpful. Took the rest home! Pinoli classic with caramelized onions was very good.

Food was great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There is a lift at the back for anyone who requires level access and staff were quick to support with this. They all had a friendly, passionate demeanour without the corporate cheesiness. I struggled to access the 25% discount from joining the zillionaire's club and staff spent time trying to sort it out. When that didn't work they signposted me to email Zizzis. I found them equally friendly and helpful and they refunded the discount I should have had.

Booked a table , shown to it when we arrived , given menus and that's as far as we got. Waited and waited for our drinks and food order to be taken , but completely ignored for 20 minutes so walked out and dined elsewhere. Used this restaurant many times in the past , but as the time before was also very slow service doubt we will be using much again.

Booked a table . Arrived to be shown to the table and handed menus. ( I had to brush food off my chair before I could sit down ). We already knew what favourite food and drinks we wanted . That's as far as we got. Completely ignored us for over 20 minutes and no one came to take our drinks and food order taken. Walked out and dined in Miller & Carter across the road instead. We've used this Zizzis many times in the past . But after very slow service on a previous recent visit , and none existant service on this visit , it's doubtful we will be returning in the near future.

Visited with a friend and my 1 year old and had an awful experience. We were only given the table for an hour, in which we were rushed through our whole meal and the staff were incredibly rude. 5 minutes before our hour was up, a waitress came and placed the bill on our table and announced ‘this booking is now over’, while we were still eating. We had paid for my daughters dessert and it never got served. They then proceeded to start cleaning the table while we were scrambling to clean up the baby and gather our things. We left the restaurant without so much as a thank you or goodbye but dirty looks instead. It ruined our evening and made the whole experience of dining with a baby very stressful.

A disappointing visit on this occasion. We were very disappointed with the standard of the food. The service was good but food quality and value for money was not satisfactory. I ordered bruschetta starter - the bread was so hard it could not cut be cut with the knife. The tomato sauce on the Chicken Milanese was a spoonful of chopped tinned tomatoes; not the description of the menu. The vegetable accompaniment - the heritage carrots were over cooked and the spinach consisted of three leaves. However, the pizza was excellent and the cheesy garlic bread was perfect.

This is the 3rd time we have been to zizzi's. It was my wife's birthday and we really enjoyed it. We'll be back

Been a few times to different Zizzi's this one is nice and cosy. I love the Caramilised onion and Mozzarella bread.

Food was so so for the money. Service was hit and miss, with ordered items not turning up or arriving after we had finished eating.

I'm frankly shocked at the overall positive reviews of the food at this restaurant. I've visited here two times in the last year or so, and both times the food was substandard and ... Well... Just cheap looking and tasting. The tiramisu was very good, and the staff were adequate, the food was just very disappointing and spoiled the evening.

Pizza/pasta place, centrally located. Good gluten free food offer, and lovely to get a decent gluten free pizza, properly marked up and with staff who were aware. Only downside was the service, which was a bit slow at times.

Nice thin pizza (see photo) available at a good price. Enough to share. Spouse liked the calamari (see photo). On second visit, the wait to receive the check was quite excessive. Either short staffing or too much time for our inattentive waitress chatting with patrons...

Our waitress Rhia was absolutely amazing, so attentive and looked after me and my partner during our visit. She really is an asset to the team.

Manager was obnoxious and is clearly used to bullying not assisting Sad as previous visits were great but his attitude finished us for good Have followed up with Zizi 'resolver' and General manager replied and completely misunderstood my feedback and has since ignored me. Wow their customer service issues clearly originate at the top !
