New owners butt very pleased. Humour and atmosphere with others absolutely wonderful. Bar people and landlord notch.. Been awhile since last visit but definitely coming back again more regular.

A lady named caz was on the drive thru this morning and was so lovely and kind to me her service was more than 5 star! Thank you for such a pleasant drive thru experience caz!

Placed order waited over an hour just for them to cancel and tell me they are closed way before closing time

Rang and asked to provide some hot breakfast sandwiches for 16 people at 9.20am. I arrived on time and everything was ready, staff were lovely and personable

Ordered a coffee while waiting for the train, lovely coffee and really friendly service. It is so nice for a small station to have somewhere to get a drink.

absolute rubbish service i ordered a meal though just eat the order was put back many times and the ordered never arrived even though the app said it had been delivered i tried phoning a number of times but no one seems to want to answer the phone i will never use burger king at rampart way telford

Disgusting cookies. £5.99 for burnt, oven tasting cookies that are raw on the inside. No its not a soft center, it's completely raw all the way through 🤢🤢🤢 tastes like whatever they clean the oven with mixed with ashes. The chocolate is so burnt it also tastes like ashes.

We didn't know that this restaurant had changed hands. From the get go things did not seem smooth. My booking for 5 caused them some consternation and after a few minutes we were given a cobbled together table one which was taller than the others (at check-out I challenged them about the booking which I had on my phone - indeed it was in a scruffy book but the designated round table had been allocated to another group). Food was ok but service and customer interaction needs to be drastically improved - with a proper uniform and a smile. Not a good ambience and we have used this restaurant so many times in the past even when it was the Lion Inn with great experiences. I will have to think long and hard about returning - so sad.

A really poor performance from McDonald's here. I ordered a meal through Just Eat from here. I made the order at around 11:15 for a 12:00 delivery. The delivery driver didn't leave the restaurant before 12:30 and when I got my order (it was only to Lilleshall), all the food was cold. It's like they made the order and forgot about it or the delivery driver was late to collect (even though the app said they'd been there since 11:50) If I bother to try it again, I'll be specifying Newport next to see if they can perform better than Donnington.

We stayed in the Travelodge next door, so decided to eat here as so convenient. It looked quite rundown from the outside, so were a bit worried what it would be like on the inside. It looked a little better on the inside, but it was very dirty, especially the floor all around the table we were directed to sit at. Obviously a family with young children had been there before us, but no attempt of sweeping up all. What a shame as the food was decent, the best roast lamb I've had in ages and the vegetables were nicely cooked. We went back for breakfast the following morning, again the food was fine, the service was ok, I asked for scrambled eggs, I was told it would take a few minutes, duly arrived perfectly cooked. We decided to use the toilets before we left, really, really dirty and in desperate need of redecorating. Sad to say but it has put us off Toby carvery restaurants. There is no excuse for such poor standards of cleanliness.
