we came here for the england game, was good outside watching the match and was a great atmosphere. after the game ends we get told by the DJ to go inside for kareoke. Just before kareoke stars the owner of the pub comes up to our table and starts mouthing off to us telling us to buy a drink or get out (bare in mind we had all bought drinks and had the proof to show her) she didn’t want to listen to us: we did kareoke and she was giving us the evils the whole time and as we was leaving the pub she turns to me and says don’t bother coming here again so i replied with ‘i wont if your here’ and about 3 people came over to me trying to argue so we just left as they were all about 20 years older. i get we are younger but there is no need for that attitude

Such a lovely pub, full of character and spotlessly clean. Situated right next to a lake complete with swans and ducks, it's a really relaxed setting and a very welcoming atmosphere. Well worth a visit, and I was made to feel very welcome indeed!

Great wee pub! The Guinness is fantastic, would highly recommend it. The landlady is very friendly and helpful and always has a smile. Will definitely be back. 10 out of 10.

Ok pub, nice in the summer months as it backs onto a lovely lake with idyllic views, great to have a sit in the beer garden and take it all in.

This place had been amazing to be at! I got to meet the best bar lady ever, she was lovely, happy, helpful and no matter the query… she was there. Organised the best events and all the family enjoyed it! Would strongly recommend d this place!

A lovely, friendly pub, situated by a lake. We'd popped in for a meal, but sadly they no longer serve food. The staff member and a customer kindly recommended the Dun Cow down the road. They have a good selection of beers and are dog friendly.

This is our local pub and we love it. Friendly, nice food, pizzas, chips, jacket spuds ,and a lot more. Everyone is welcome, new comers will find a warm welcome, we always find something to laugh about. Nadine and her mom Annette will give you a lovely warm welcome, as will everyone else.

Brilliant little gem of a pub proper old school like pubs where back before corporations took them over, took the dog and I could take him off the lead In the garden and fair price for a beer, will be back.

Warm drinks also expensive, won't be returning in a hurry which is a shame because the outside area is lovely to sit in the summer

A traditional pub, nothing fancy, somewhere you can have a drink and conversation. The host is a young lady who managed to turn the pub into a very friendly atmosphere, dogs included.

The Blue Pig in Trench is rumoured to be the best pub in the West Midlands... this I can neither confirm nor deny... But what I can confirm, is that it has one exceptional land lady! The Blue Pig in Telford backs onto a large lake with idyllic views and walks... ideal for those who fancy spending the warm summer nights in a beer garden, having a file mild ales, while taking in the surroundings. This pub is 100% biker friendly, with a bike night / motorcycle night / meet every Tuesday. The food (pub grub) is fantastic!! It really does prove excellent value for money! Wow what a great pub to visit. We called for a drink and it was warm and welcoming, clean and tidy but definitely one to revisit.

Great staff, lovely cosy pub - usually some friendly punters bring in some nibbles on Sundays, sausage rolls samosas cake. Sunday meat raffle, with Sunday roast potatoes given out during the raffle. Cracking staff always got a smile, dog friendly Keep up the good work TP

Could do with a decent fishing club

This pub is off the beaten track and we'll cosy definitely roll on the summer with it , the beer well sunk 3pints in 20minutes, the staff are friendly and warm welcoming, will be returning

Went food and a cplof drinks. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was great. Even the kids ate all of there's. It was nice to be sat in a clean beer garden watching the kids play on the park and play with the owners dogs. Definitely going again

Thought I'd call in as I'd never been to this pub. A bit of a pain to find if you've never been. Plenty of car parking space. This is a traditional pub with plenty of locals. Although quite small inside it was clean. There was a good atmosphere and I spoke to about 6 people which was nice. There is a beer garden to the rear. Stella is £3.30 a pint. I'd use again no problem.

Can't beat a friendly old school pub on route while walking the dog 🐕, very friendly staff & local people in there too. Sunday football ⚽️ on tv which is great & they put kids tv on in back room for my daughter. Nice pint of Fosters🍺

Went here for a christening excellent customer service good range of drinks and reasonably priced ,plenty of outside seating and toys for children to play on. The band was also very good and the was very clean.
