What an absolute gem of a restaurant. Full transparency the owners son (Bobby) is a workmate and he recommended we visit. Got to know Bobby on a volunteer day climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) raising money for Mental Health UK and Kenny (aka mountain goat) and Myself had promised Bobby we would get a group to come over and visit. You don’t invite 20+ of your work mates unless your confident the food is good and boy we were not disappointed. It’s a family run restaurant just outside Telford and cannot speak highly enough of the owners, the friendly welcome and most importantly the quality of the food. Many of us travelled the good hour from Chester and no one left disappointed or hungry! It has a real family friendly feel about the place. It’s got a great little bar to get drinks. We were on a bit of a timer with mini bus so it was poppadom’s all round and straight into the mains. Huge selection, I went for a personal favourite Poppadom’s, Lamb Dhansak, Pila rice, Chips and Peshwari Naan and Kenny has gone Poppadom's, Chicken Tikka main, jalfrezi sauce, chips, plain naan. Both meals absolutely spot on. A fantastic few hours in great company with wonderful hosts at the Bharat Indian restaurant. Highly recommended.

We visited as we had heard good things about this Indian restaurant however sadly it didn’t live up to expectations. It all started well. We were seated, drinks served and poppadoms served. It then seemed to take a very long time to be served our mains. Sadly when the food came it was not hot. The service was poor. Once served we didn’t see anyone again until our plates were cleared. We weren’t asked if we wanted any 2nd course or coffee. I had to go and find the waitress to ask for the bill and then had to seek her out to ask to pay! Shame cuz we really would have loved to have been blown away. It seems as if the takeaway part of their business is more important than those in the restaurant. Sorry but I can’t recommend as it was a very disappointing evening at top dollar

Amazing unctuous food. Every mouthful makes ur eyes roll in pleasure. Pricey food for an Indian but when you taste it you know why and you don’t mind. Popadom to start with mixture of lime pickle, lassi, homemade chilli, onions and coriander and mango chutney. Wife had chicken buhna and coriander naan. I had chicken tikka as a main

A converted pub in a sleepy village but an amazing curry enjoyed with friends and colleagues. Food and Service were excellent with a highly attentive host who gave suggestions on the menu to the undecided. Thoroughly recommend the short trip outside Telford for a meal.

First time visit in over 20 years - food and service were second to non. Would definitely go again. Chairs could do with an update, but that certainly didn’t affect the service and food we received.

CLOSED as of Autumn 2023 the area has been turned into another 'room' for the community centre to hire/rent out. Part of the Community Centre - and as such run by volunteers. Currently generally open weekday mornings till about 1PM. Menu includes hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, crisps snacks and cake. In the summer months the Leegomery Community Garden alongside the building is home to veg and flowers grown by and for the community. Check community centre social media for updates and changes The Woodland Tea Room is next to the Silkin Way and one of the main shared use cycling and walking routes. A lovely airy venue, and friendly service. Currently also a #warmroom. One of the many in Telford. It may well mark 5 stars with an increase in menu and opening hours

Very unhygienic place . It’s smelling of bad odour and even the staff smells. The kitchen is similar to a toilet pot. Don’t know how they operate
