The best restaurants in Cannock Chase West Midlands

I use this costa drive through a lot, however when I go now I feel like the staff in the drive through are very unprofessional and I also feel very uncomfortable when waiting for my drink. The girls answers the ordering system in the drive through laughing and distracted to the point I had to retell them my order again at the window. There was no greeting or morning said, just talking to themselves or talking through the head sets to each other (as no one else was in the queue) They make you feel uncomfortable because you are unsure of what they are talking about, or even if they are talking about you with the looks they give each other.

2nd time at this branch and excellent food and service. Busy early evening but got seated ok. Ordered drinks and food and advised it will come out when cooked, maybe at different times, no problem. ordered chicken and prawn yaki soba and shirodashi pork belly ramen. Both meals delicious and tasty and excellent value. A mention to our server Michelle excellent and informative.

Wanted to try this place for ages… it did not live up to expectations. Chicken tenders were soggy and only the ends had any crunch. Chips were tasteless and dry.

Looking for somewhere to get breakfast after an early appointment at Cannock hospital. Google search came up with this place. I do not read reviews before visiting because I prefer to form my own opinion. First impression was pleasant clean and not too busy. I was asked if I wanted a menu and told someone would take my order from our table, this was done in good time. We ordered a full English and a small breakfast. The food arrived and looked really good, the toast was crusty bread not the supermarket cheap stuff as served at most places. The food was cooked just has we like it, I did hear someone else ordering bacon and sausage well done so I gather they would cook it to your own taste. My other half is a very picky eater but finished her plate which is unusual for her. Other reviewers have commented on the staff being “surly or rude”, the young lady that attended to us at the table was friendly and polite and the lady I presume is the manager shared my joke at the till and was professional and polite. It might be a case of people treating you as you treat them?

Never in my life have I seen such a dive, imbred cafe. Couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. Sausages looks like they’ve been fighting each other, a good vet would bring the bacon back to life. Staff should be in a care home not a cafe

For a change we thought we'd treat ourselves to a Chinese, what a disappointment, the spring rolls were more like battered sticks, practically empty and looked more like battered straws than rolls, the chips and gravy was awful, chips were dry and gravy was more like black syrup, and don't get me started on the chicken chow Mein. Such a shame, won't be returning :(

I went to Greggs retail park wednesbury, the staff have no manners, they ignore the filthy tables, toilets, never any food in fridges breakfast rolls, hot food is stone cold, the team look very dis engaged with customers, like it’s an issue asking for ketchup or another item, the team are extremely rude no Thankyou or even a smile is just too much trouble, when you ask for Oat milk alternative they put cream on your drink they clearly don’t know what milk alternatives are, and why people have alternative options, this is very worrying. Avoid at all cost hygiene is in question here.

The View Bar & Grill is on the top floor of the Holiday Inn and we ate in it when staying at the hotel. We were very perplexed when trying to go from our room to the restaurant to find that there is no up button on the lift. When we called it using the single button it was going down. We managed to change this but to travel from room to restaurant yu may have go via the ground floor. The restaurant has a great view over the area. The menu is mainly pub fayre, bur we found the food tasty and the service was very good.

Papa’s Pizza has the best pizza all around our area and we have tried quite a lot! As a family who have 3 autistic members who are extremely fussy about food, Papa always ensures our requests for certain ingredients and levels of ingredients are met! This is a tough thing to achieve but he has personal experience of autism which is fantastic ,so we appreciate him and all his staff very much! ! We have had SUCH tasty pizzas and he told us they are fresh ingredients, it is revealed in the flavours and freshness of the beautiful pizza dough! Would definitely recommend! Julie

Hadn't seen my friend for a few months as she hadn't been very well so decided we'd go for a coffee. Upon arriving we were greeted ever so nicely by girl with glasses who was clearing some tables. We had ordered 2 lattes, a cheese and tomato toastie alongside 2 slices of carrot cake. Although the price shocked me at first due to how expensive it was, the lattes and cake were delicious, it was just a shame that the same couldn't be said about the toastie that didn't arrive for over 15 minutes. I approached a staff member (who i was later told was the manager) regarding the waiting time for the toastie, she looked at me with a face that looked fed up and miserable and rolled her eyes at me when i had told her how long i had been waiting. She then shouted across to someone to put a toastie in for me and continued to shout at other staff members. Every other staff member was so very nice, just disappointed with the lack of respect shown by the manager, it's no way for anyone to behave when were spending money let alone a manager. I received an apology on behalf of the manager from the young girl who came over to the table with my toastie and 2 free coffee vouchers for next time, which im unsure as to whether or not i shall be returning.

Food arrived cold, driver did not enter building or try to contact me to say he was outside. Had to ring twice for availability of drop off was totally dissatisfied

It's my local Spoons but I think one of the much better ones! Always good service. The outside area is now huge. Well laid out inside and of course cheap n cheerful!

Great food 35 years a customer so must be good

Had a great breakfast, the 2 young ladies serving were so helpful and with a smile , screen ordering apps fall short of McDonald’s flexibility to change and adapt the item, but food way better than alternatives on site,

Perfect food as always, Never a bad meal and always great customer service!!
