Batter on the fish was really thick and soggy. Chips were just adequate. Fish wasn’t the freshest.

Ive had and used longford for many years but tonight it was cold ordered kebab meat chips and salad twice kebab meat was awful to the point stopped eating it chips was the best so whoever got food ready needs sacking the kebab meat was not fresh not

Burger was lovely only issue is the burger bun was soggy

Delivery was super quick which is why it was so disappointing on the food :(( everything but the chicken burger was cold! I hd cheesy chips… chips was cold underneath the cheese and cheese hadn’t melted even a little bit had to bang in the microwave but made all the chips soggy :( fish & chips was cold too. Gutted as delivery was so quick and i think hot and fresh it would have been bang on.

Chicken pie was awful. The lid was rock hard and I had to use a steak knife to cut through it. Definitely old.

Friendly staff and really good quality chips here. Mixed meat kebabs and their chicken is also worth a try

Normally have really nice crispy fish from here but Batter was slightly stodgy on the fish last night. Chips really nice as always but needed to use the micro to warm the sausage as lukewarm.

Great food as always but had to ring shop as order hadn’t been delivered by 18.15 and had ordered to be delivered at 18.00. They were very apologetic and within 10mins my order was at my doorstep.

Ordered from here a few times now, and always great food & service. Always on time, if not early. We use these at work as well, again always great service.

I found bones in my chicken meat! Absolutely disgusting!

The driver accepted the order from a chip shop, the page clearly stated, "the drive is at the restaurant." It was like this for 30 minutes. I know for a fact the chip shop bagged the order as soon as this was pushed to "driver at the restaurant" status because I rang them and asked. So my cooked meal was boxed, bagged, and stuck in the hotplate for 30 minutes despite the fact the driver wasn't actually ready to pick up the order. My food arrived with missing items (a can of Coke for £1.80) and the food was cold. The idea of a chip shop is to receive hot food, accepting orders and not picking them up for 30 minutes is going to ruin a chip shop order. We were very disappointed with this meal. This is no fault of the chip shop at all, I called them and they were very helpful and polite. I regularly order here so know the food is normally okay. This was more than likely an issue with the order being accepted too early by the driver.

Have ordered here previously and was fine. However, tonight the large cod was small, the large chicken meat and chips was small, chips were hard in places and greasy. Won't order again.

This is twice now that I've ordered on a Saturday night and both times, although it says delivered on the app I haven't got them!!

Had an item missing and the attitude from the chip shop about this was unacceptable especially after paying for the service charges and delivery just to have to go back out of my own house and use my fuel to sort out the issue.

Food was delivered at the time it said it would but the food was awful. Doner meat was burnt and chips tasted like they were just reheated after being left for hours. Disappointing as food we’ve had from here before has been fine.

Chicken was inedible, completely dry as if reheated numerous times. Pie was cold, only edible item was the chips. I will not be ordering from them again.

No drivers so can understand that but can tell food was prepared way to early so it was cold, also lacking on quantity usually the portions are big from here but today was awful 3 slices of donner meat in kebab and in wrap !! Won't be back.

Firstly the food is absolutely brilliant. Tonight though food was delivered 35-40mins late. I write special instructions for delivery due to my house being at rear of a main house. Obviously the driver just did not bother to read instructions which are very clear. The food arrived and was nearly uneatable. Cold and paper stuck to food. I had to remove the paper and then had to microwave items. I’m sorry but this is just not fair when I order and pay in good faith. Need to address this in future.

Ordered by just eat asked for chips fish and gravy ....large Donner meet with mint Yog and sweet chilli and we got no gravy with the fish and mint sauce on the Donna also asked for no tom in the salad which we got and took 1 HR and half to come donner meet was under cooked will not use again and have complained to just eat

Delivery 25 mins late despite ordering 1.5 hours in advance. Portions were minuscule and the mixed meat in a bun is a joke! Barely covered the bun and just one piece of doner meat. I used to love this place but last time I’ll be ordering.

Not bad food had large tray of mixed meat ok but pack the container a bit more with meat .Few more chips in the large bag would be nice a bit iight really there's better places but it's not to bad

FOOD WAS COLD,DRIVER WAS LATE(DIDNT READ INSRUCTIONS)......OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS DELIVERY DRIVERS HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTE RUBBISH,UNLESS IT CHANGES I WILL NOT USE JUST EAT AGAIN.

Horrible doner meat,it had no flavour to it plus it had big chunks of it instead of straight cuts. Very bad presentation and quality.

After all the reviews I’ve wrote for Longford chippy and there’s been a few this is the first time I haven’t give them 5⭐️ for everything. Delivery was late which is very unusual as it’s normally early the driver rung me to ask where I lived as he thought my address was wrong and he was at the other end of town when he did turned up the food just about warm and had to be reheated which again is very unusual.

If I could’ve left a zero I would have! I ordered 2 large fish, I received 2 fish that looked more like 2 battered sausages they were that small! They also had so much batter on it was really soggy on the inside. I phoned the chip To query it and all I got was a very rude that’s what it is, pretty much tough luck! On the plus side, the chips were quite nice! In future I shall stick with Dalo’s on Wolverhampton Road because there they will try and rectify any problems and at least there you also get what you paid for! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this shop.

I ordered 2 large fish and a portion of chips, when I unwrapped it I can honestly say it looked like 2 small fish. They looked more like a couple of battered sausages. When I phoned the shop to query it and I got told (quite rudely) that the order was right and basically tough luck! On eating it, I’d say the fish was the size of a sausage as it was mainly soggy batter! On the plus side, the chips were ok 🙄 If I could’ve given it zero stars I would have, I certainly won’t be wasting my money there again. In future I’ll stick with Dalo’s on Wolverhampton Road as at least there you get what you pay for!

The chips were extremely greasy (leaving a residue in my mouth after eating) and the fish was grey. My husband’s kebab was lovely but I wouldn’t order mine again.

Ordered online standard Chips for £3 absolutely tiny portion, less than a child's portion. The items I brought along with it went to waste due to this. It's the only chippy you can order from and loose weight. Have ordered from here before never had this problem. They did me over because I am an online customer, I have been into the shop many times. Will be requesting a full refund.

Asked for large fish. I was served what anywhere else would describe as a mini fish …. The mushy peas were disgusting they tasted as though a bag of sugar had been spilled in them . Chips were very nice & hot though……, well a year later we thought we would try you again and got charged for a large fish .,,, my husband refused to pay full price so they knocked a couple of £ off. So much in the difference in size of mimi & large . Disgraceful Longford chippy you should be ashamed of yourselves

Real hit and miss with the quality at this place. We have had decent chips from here in the past, but our last order was well below standard. The chips were borderline cooked and so holey that they could have been religious. The fish portion resembled a battered eel, and the lettuce and tomatoe in the salad was brown and not fresh. We have had better from there before, but if those standards are to be maintained, then the price should reflect for said reasons. The "chippy" used to be the cheapest of the takeaways,I don't mind paying the money but this time we were swizzed.
