Mcdonald's Restaurants in Cannock Chase

You could be the only customer at this restaurant in the drive through and they would still ask you to park up to falsify the scores for the speed they get cars through the drive through, which leads to you being sat on the car park for 10-15 minutes. Multiple occasions I’ve been here, been asked to park up, and they’ve completely forgotten to bring out the order. Once this was for a breakfast order, and they took so long that they’d surpassed the time threshold for when they serve breakfast and as such were unable to correctly fulfill the order On top of that, the quality of the food here seems noticeably below that of other McDonald’s locations. I could go on, but to summarise - save yourself the hassle and just go down the road a bit to Longford island or Cannock

Seems to have reoccurring issues here. Myself and others have items missing or incorrect on a regular basis.

Ordered meals with milkshakes when arrived got very cold food with bottles of water took nearly a hour to arrive, McDonalds need to look at all the reviews on just eat as the reviews are bad surely the manager should be looking at this and to see how to put things right!! I will not be ordering again wouldn't even give it the dog all been chucked in bin. They did give me a little refund £5 even though my order was nearly £20 🙄

Food always arrives cold! No sauces with the food, no response by Uber drivers, seems like they’re waiting with my food at the place watching it get cold, the only place to order at night and they still can’t seem to get it right!

At the drive through 20 mins from taking our order to paying. 15 mins at the food window and kept giving someone else's order. Good stone cold. Really don't know why we keep going because it's always always really awful.

ridiculous wait for food 15 minutes for 2 burgers and 20 minutes for 6 nuggets only after bringing it up, picked up the nuggets off the side that had been sat there for a while. No apology or anything, thought the mcdonald’s by me was bad but this one is awful bad experience every time i come to cannock

Not only did they have to redo my entire order the time it was meant to be delivered. It came over an hour late! STONE COLD. I had also very clearly said about allergies and what was to be on the order, was given things I cannot eat and now have no food. The best they could do was to send me an email to get the same food next time. ( I can’t drive) so wouldn’t be able to claim. Uber and McDonald’s are ridiculous you’d think by the size of the chain of restaurants they’d k ow how to do simple orders

We waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for an order tonight, only 3 cars in front and the restaurant not busy. The manager didn’t care and was rude. Got home which is 2 minutes away and fries were stone cold!!!

Very busy when we went but still served quite quickly.The chips were hot which I was pleasantly surprised by.Seems more efficient than most.So well done the staff working here.

🚫A hair was found on the hash brown. He said he would change it and told me to wait. I waited 10 minutes and nothing changed. I left prematurely and did not receive any apology. I do not recommend this McDonald's

No matter what time of the day or what day of the week you order from this place the order will most likely be wrong and potential wait of 30 minutes, that part of education were taught from an early age we all know as maths must have skipped the generation employed here as on 3 visits the change has been incorrect although they have an option on the till which displays how much they need to dispense, the food looks it’s been thrown into the packaging and the bag packing skills are appalling to the point where food has fallen out of boxes or the bag is over filled and ripped apart. Only positive is the staff are friendly. Worst McDonald’s around Cannock area

My local maccys, no idea what happened recently, but there's a 90% chance getting parked up now using the drive through.

Have been told to park up at a drive through. Seems to happen every time, waiting for ten minutes for a cheesy flatbread which was cold

25min waiting orded on pad station,,Would not recommend at all, this Mcdonald, we was hungry and wanted something quick,big tasty was like slop and cold and left chips was warm and nuggets was stone cold,lady by us asked for a change of food the staff member said she would be better having a refund than to have fresh food,very bad staffing all standing round, drivers of delivery's have more priority than customers in resturant, staff need more training on food preparation,don't even deserve one star

Terrible tasting hot chocolate,I watched the young lady and gentleman serving at 2am on the 16/01/23 there attention to detail was shocking the hot drink basically tasted like plain hot water. Management please address this ASAP. Update things are improving here been in for breakfast today food was excellent hot, Ginger haired girl on the floor ( very polite positive and moves quickly with a smile.

Ordered on app for delivery. Took nearly an hour to finally get delivered. Order wrong and stone cold. Disgusting. Rang to complain only to be told to come down in person to exchange food. When told unable to get there in person thats why i ordered delivery no help. Avoid using this McDonald’s as no help at all

Went through the drive through. Ordered the steakhouse meal and the fajita wrap. What we got was a chicken burger and the worst wrap I have ever seen. 2 dried up pieces of chicken, about 4 lettuce leaves and a thimble full of sauce. When I complained they got me a steakhouse and offered me some more fries which I refused. As I bit into the burger I found a piece of plastic cable tie in the burger. Complained again and was refunded the cost of my food. Dreadful. I won’t be coming back again.

Really good service, by far the fastest service I have received from a fast food chain in a very long time. All food correct (8 of us), and looked like the pictured too! Staff couldn't do enough to help.

Sub standard food took ages to turn up at the hatch, they deleted all the numbers off the screen so nobody knew when there food was ready. Staff looked stressed and unhappy just like the burgers when I got them home.

Everytime we use the drive through the order either takes too long (which is meant to be fast food) or is wrong or missing an item. I will not use this place again as the last 4 times I've visited, I've had a bad experience.

I've used this McDonald's for years, yet recently, they are getting my orders wrong quite often. Whether it's because of staff shortage or just busier, I'm not sure. Just a heads up to anyone to check your order before leaving the restaurant.

It's maccies, that's all there is to say, night time ain't great full of idiots in balaclavas being morons and having to have the police called to them. In a bit of a dodgy location as sometimes the parking is backed up into the road and if I want to go to B&M I have to queue in the maccies line as it's on a blind bend and it is badly designed to access B&M.

I have been to this McDonald's before and not experienced so many problems, the one by New Life near to Heath Hayes. Today, everything was wrong. The food was not nice, poor service was extremely slow, everyone was upset because of the bad service and part orders and the rest going cold. The order machine was not working properly no receipts.

I don’t know how this macdonalds is still open and how despite so many bad reviews nothing gets done about the service here. Every time I’ve been through the drive through I’ve never been able to collect my order straight away. It’s not even a large order, I’ve always had to wait 20 minutes or more for my food and when it does come it’s wrong. Who employs the management here? Is there even any management? What do they do if there is? I don’t understand why the food can’t be collected at the drive through like it’s supposed to in almost every other fast food restaurant. Worst experience and macdonalds in the area.

Absolute joke been here at 15 minutes and still no food then when we got the food stuff was missing do not not go my partner warn me but I thought better never again

Have been here a few times. Never any problems in store but the last two times using the Drive Thru I waited 20minutes and then 50minutes for my orders to come out. The second time, I had to go around the Drive Thru again to get my order. Staff did eventually resolve it. Two very unpleasant back to back experiences.

come here every night for a snack, every day the employee on the head set allows me to add pickles to my burger. Asked today told a simple no, asked for the manager; just to ask why. Wasn’t given clear reason on why, just that “new procedures and can no longer do it”. However, we also ordered double cheese burger and asked politely if they could ask the kitchen to put the pickles off that burger onto the chicken mayo, yet again another no explain but simple NO. In the end we said forget it. We went cannock mcdonald’s, photos below show clearly you are able to do this. Also spoke to an employee of yours i know and they also agreed with me that pickles are normally able to be added to a burger. I understand it may sound completely stupid to write a complaint, but also it is not that difficult to just add an item on to a burger.

As below, still cold food and long waits, seem to prioritise the delivery people over everything else now so don't expect anything quick. OK if you really have the itch. Generally long waits, cold food, missing items. Better off at Burntwood store or somewhere else

Ordered at 16:34 came ate 18:17. Kids did well at school offered them takeaway they chose maccies and even the kidd don't wanna choose them again and they are ages 6 and 4. This restaurant need better management or better yet close it down

Always consistent with their food and prices. However had to wait for ages after ordering and paying. Positive was food was fresh.

Ordered 2 meals. Took way longer than estimated and the driver was sat waiting for the order. When it got here everything was cold and the drinks were the wrong size. Not a single thing was correct. Well done, you managed to screw up every part of the order. Are the McDonalds in Cannock competing to see who can get the most 1 star ratings?

We place an order for delivery. When it arrived, we had a meal missing and stone cold fries for the other meals that we did have. So we was trying to ring to say we had a meal missing. 18 times I rang and not once did they answer. Its out of order and very rude. So we've paid for something and not received everything. So we won't be using them again as this isn't the first time it's happened.

We went through the drive through in the early hours of the morning and despite the time, Miuri, was extremely friendly and professional. Which makes a change from the usual staff at other McDonald’s franchises. Will definitely be visiting again.

Ordered on Uber eats. The food was with the restaurant for over an hour, had 2 Uber drivers go to collect the order, and both times the staff at McDonald’s obviously didn’t hand over the food to them. I called up and spoke to someone on the phone there about the time on my order. He then tried to fob it off on Uber eats saying once it’s with the drivers it’s not their fault. I then said that’s the problem though, the food has been with you guys for over an hour. He then went to check, then said he can see it and is now with the kitchen staff and will cook it straight away. But then 2 mins later my Uber driver has the order and is on the way. The driver arrives with a cold Burger and old soggy chips. Which tells me that my order was prepared a long time ago but the staff didn’t hand over the food to the drivers. Constant problems with this particular establishment when ordering with any delivery company.

Can I just say there is a young lad called Joe, working lunchtime today 25/8/23 tall slim guy with glasses.. he was taking orders to customers and put to cars. he took time to talk to my granddaughter who was crying, brought her some crayons and paper and a hat and was so kind. He really cheered her up. He is a credit to your restaurant. Professional, kind and thoughtful. Well done Joe

Awful experience. Ordered through uber, it was delivered cold and had missing items. I ended up taking it all back to get it exchanged. When I got there and asked for the meal to be exchanged, I wasn't even questioned. Whilst waiting for the replacement food, a lady came in as she hadn't received any fries 4 in total? Then a dine in customer came to the counter as the rest of her party had all eaten whilst she was still waiting. Next, a gentleman came in, he was also missing part of his order. It was like something from a comedy sketch. The general attitude was polite but not really bothered. Once home, the food itself was acceptable. However, I am inclined never to use this particular outlet again. I am still waiting for a previous uber refund for missing items. I am a great believer in giving people a chance, which is why I used a second time, but I have definitely learnt my lesson and will not order or return to this site. Very disappointed.

After ordering last night and order being wrong. Then driving to 3 mcdonalds to get replacement food for my daughter. 2 were showing on line as open but when got there were closed. Went in person today. Was asked to park up and given ice creams and drinks and to wait for food. Did say to girl the ice creams would melt but told the food would only be a minute. Parked up sat for 8 to 10 mins and then drove 10 mins home ice creams like milk shake..... also none of the sauces for the chicken selects in bag either. Rang to speak to manager first call cut off. Rang again and spoke to him but really don't think anything would change as "that's how they do it" Not impressed at all. Looks like we will order from Burger King in future......

We waited 20 minutes for our food, we got 2 straws for five drinks,all the food was just sitting there getting cold the staff were not doing anything they all look half a sleep, the kitchen is so unorganised food all over the floor in there, everyone at the drive through got told to park up because they couldn’t get the food ready in time, the place wasn’t even busy so I don’t get how we had to wait 20 minutes to get our food. Waited ages for 1 cup of tea, was missing a burger and nothing was done about it. The staff were being lazy and couldn’t be bothered to do there job place needs shutting down.

Whilst the food is standard maccies, our order is wrong more often than not ie missing items, changes requested not made. Staff are always nice though.

Take out food slow preparation and then it was left standing at the prep area for 10 minutes (not being kept warm) because they 'were very busy' as a member of staff walked past the serving area told me, but they could not turn around, pick up the food and put it on the service area.

Do not order from this McDonald’s. Ordered through Just eat, had issues and missing items before so I thought I would try them again… same as last time missing items on two meals, one crispy chicken salad box didn’t even have the chicken in it!? It was just a box of old sorry looking lettuce… the second grilled chicken + bacon salad box had just mouldy lettuce 1 slice of tomato and 2 slices of cucumber, very dry chicken and no bacon…. This really takes the biscuit. Poor management and obvious lack of staff training… sort it out.
