Had a great breakfast, the 2 young ladies serving were so helpful and with a smile , screen ordering apps fall short of McDonald’s flexibility to change and adapt the item, but food way better than alternatives on site,

Cold soggy fries. Dont bother visiting

Poor chicken nuggets well over cooked total waste of money , daughters meal was terrible too only thing that was bearable was the tomatoes that were not cooked

I was queueing at a fast food outlet for a late breakfast (mid-AM, 9th July) and noticed this place, so I decided to try it. I am glad I did. It wasn’t partuicularly expensive, as it looked it might be, and the food was a pleasant change from the usual fast food fare. I had poached eggs with salmon and avocado, a brownie and a coffee. The lady serving was genuinely enthusiastic about what she was serving without overdoing it, friendly, and this came across without a single corporate ‘pleasantry’, it all seemed to be totally genuine. I’d recommend Leon for this alone, but the food was pretty good as well. I am glad I stopped at Leon and will do so again.

Awful breakfast stayed at the Hotel at this location voucher given that I paid £7.50 for. All they do it seems is heat up this food in the microwave. Eggs and beans hard and some tough looking cheese and tomatoes were over done. Certainly not worth the value. The pictures on their poster boards look way different to what you get. I even had to ask for a refund re the cold flat bread I had to pay extra for. Next time McDonald's breakfast for sure. Especially when you had to pay 7.50 for a awful experience. I feel for anyone paying £10. As that's what you pay if not at the hotel. These days we are all on a budget and this is a rip off. 😒

Yes the staff are lovely, but coffee is also a pretty important ingredient in a travellers experience - unfortunately your Black Americano didn't actually taste of coffee. Fortunately we carry a picnic basket on long journeys, so nipping back out to the car for the coffee saved my breakfast. Good coffee is VITAL, and all the fancy additions won't cover up for

I’m normally fine with Rude Health products but their oat milk just doesn’t work for coffee. You need to use a barista style oat milk like Oatly barista style. The unprocessed oat milks just split and go sour.

Never used it before, but will again if the opportunity arises. Good selection. Easy to order from the available screens.

Stopped off on way asked for reccomended meat wrap..was told korean wrap. The salad smelled..chicken was dry..very poor quality an prob cooked an held for hours before being ate, this worse than tim hortons. The the sides of fries were weird and limp..the bottled water was ok thats it

Counter was in a mess. Staff i heard her name Elena was so rude and impolite cursing me for not collecting the food immediately. Because I went to toilet after placing order. Also, wrong drink had been given I found out after I had left.

Lady staff with glasses 👓was so rude swearing at other customers in Russian when bringing the food. I think she thought no one could understand the language.

Rice box, undercooked rice. Not pleasemt at all. Burnt potatoes waffles too.

We came here for a chat, and while we were here, we had some lunch—well, it was supposed to be a spicy fried chicken wrap. Leaving the hyperbole behind, it was tasteless, and I am not sure there was a lot of chicken. The coffee chia was also on another level of unpleasant. I knew this would not be a culinary experience, but not for me, mass-manufactured rubbish created for maximum profit.

Great selection of gluten free food, great to have loads of choice. Quick service, great coffee, defo recommend.

Poor ... Ordered the advertised charcoal grilled chicken burger but when I got it and bit into it it was as greesy as hell. When I went back to the counter and asked if the chickens chargrilled how come it's so greesy she simply replied 'its because its baked in the oven". So my question is, why advertise it as chargrilled when actually it isn't? This is the 2nd time I've been to LEONS , the first I got a fish finger wrap and that was equally soggy, having been pre-soaked in tarter sause ..... I'm gonna give LEONS a very wide birth in future and I'd advise others to do the same . By the way, I left the burger open and in display on the counter for all to see just how greesy it was.

Disgusting chicken burger. The actual chicken inside it was a mass of rubbery inedible tissue . Tables dirty . I wont be back

The menu did not display dragon fruit smoothie as having apple as an ingredient. After the pret allergy death, you would expect them to try harder! Update: You responded with: I should have told you my allergies, but you have touchscreens to order, not people. Leon needs to start putting full ingredients on the menu in the touch screen. It knows what they are as the ingredients are on the products.

Day 3 in the Leon queue. Water running low, no sleep, legs tired. The lad on the till has almost finished bagging up the previous order, but the customer has long gone to McDonald's and he's about to move to the coffee machines. I fear I shall die here.

Real food not rubbish like other fast food places and lovely staff

I've always loved the LEON Model - fast, healthy food on the go. I stopped off at Norton Canes at 18:00 for some food. Just like all fast food chains, orders can be placed on the touch screens (or alternatively you can go up to the counter). I placed my order, and within a few minutes it was ready. I had the Brazilian Black Bean Rice bowl, seasonal slaw and water - as always it was very tasty, and made with completely natural ingredients (which is great). You can either order items individually, or you can get a 'meal deal' with a Main, Side and Drink for under £10. Service was great, staff are very friendly, and the food was very good quality. Yes, you pay more than other fast food chains, however it's healthy and natural, unlike other chains. I'd highly recommend it!

Great fast food restaurant that is healthy whilst also tasting great. The majority of people go to McDonald's, which is located opposite Leon, but it is definitely worth trying Leon as their food is great, very underrated. There are plenty of healthy options that cater to vegans and vegetarians, but they still serve meat in which the options emphasise serving less but better quality and using plants to fill the gap. It's definitely worth trying if you haven't done so already. I think most people will be wishing they tried it sooner.

My son was in this evening, on a school trip, and came back hungry. He ordered a chicken and bacon burger, fries etc, not only was he charged for ketchup but his chicken was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle!! He ate only the fries and bread after spending nearly £16, being only 13 years of age, was too shy to complain. I think you need to review your cooking methods before you give anyone salmonella, just take peoples money without any consideration for your customers! Livid as he hadn’t eaten much all day!

Slow service and cold food, not what you expect from Leon 👎

Of all my born days I have never come across such hypocritical woke postulating pontificating drivel in all my life!!!!! No white sugar 'as it is not healthy' whilst displaying a whole bank of chocolate brownies, fudge cakes and iced cakes. Absolutely HYPOCRITICAL GUFF!!!!! I hope the chain goes under as it deserves no less for it's 'healthy' mantra which is anything but.

Wouldn’t say it was a big breakfast box like it does on the menu. What you do get though is very nice, bit pricey but better ingredients then other places in the services. I really enjoyed the food I got from here. The 50p extra for another egg is definitely worth it to fill you up a bit more. Will probably go here next time again instead of McDonald’s.

What an absolute rip off , and the food absolutely awful. Got a sour dough bacon roll and the roll was dry , the bacon was anemic and didn't look freshly cooked and I asked for ketchup and got some weird tomato paste. Definitely wouldn't go there again

Foods was not very hot and it took quite a long time for our order (for 3 people) to come through. I also thought the portions were small for the price, although it is at a service station so maybe there's a premium to pay...

Friendly staff and great tasty food almost instantly while still being tonnes healthier and better quality than Macdonald but a little more expensive. Not as expensive as a nice restaurant though. I had the hallumi burger, brownie and red smoothie which were all delicious. Highly recommend the red mango lime and dragon fruit smoothie!

CHECK YOUR FOOD, I WAS POISONED! I love Leon's idea of fast food based on healthier ingredients; however i made a Big regret ordering the Korean chicken wrap, lattice fries and karma coke during a coach pit stop. Eaten half the wrap, food was disgusting & chicken meat looked dark. Had bad stomach cramps and bloating tummy all the way back home to Kent. Had very little sleep last night. Won't be visiting this Leon again. 👎

Overpriced and overrated. Food was disappointingly poor, lukewarm and portions small. Coffee nothing special. We would avoid this outlet in future

Extremely dry chicken nuggets which is a shame because they used to be awesome. It's gone very vegan now, only 2 meat products on the menu, both chicken and over priced at about £7.00 for a smallish chicken breast burger.

Very dissipointed. I would rather eat at mcdonalds, at least the food will be fresh.

Stopped in on the way back down south on a long drive. Never had foot from LEON before so we mooched over to see what they were all about. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Mediterranean style food they offered, which was a welcomed changed to your standard Mcdonald’s and Burger King at a services. We each got a rice box meal with lattice fries and a drink, and then a hummus tub and a flatbread to share. The food was really good! Fresh and tasty, really lovely and would have again. Only criticism was that the flatbread was chilled from the fridge and quite dry - would’ve been much nicer if it was warm.

This is probably the best take away I've had in a long time and definitely the best motorway services meal. The staff were fairly busy but seemingly cheerful and polite. The food was hot and very tasty, so I'm always going to head to the Leon counter in future.

I'm ordered wrap with chicken in Korean style, but the meat was a bit too dry, the potatoes (french fries) probably absorbed liters of oil, they were not good .. One plus is a delicious cookie.. I ate other things from LEON but in other places and they were delicious..

Fast food served McD style but much better quality; lots of plant based options as well as allergy alternatives. Coffee is organic and tasty!

My son has multiple allergies and the staff here couldn’t have been more helpful. They didn’t rush us as we tried to work out what food would work, everything was clearly labelled, they made great suggestions and made sure all my son’s food was placed in a separate bag to avoid cross contamination

Absolutely delicious! 'Naturally fast' is a great way of putting it. All the food seems freshly prepared and the jerk chicken mezze pot was very moreish with it's deep flavour and subtle heat. The staff went above and beyond in bringing our order, along with a selection of sauces, to our table. Very accomodating! Leon could be a new winner for our motorway stops!

I ordered a chicken wrap, I received Raw chicken from the cheapest cut of the chicken, no breast. The dough around the wrap wasn't cooked. It cost me £10, I ended up leaving it and getting a chicken wrap from McDonald's. 100% Chicken breast, 100% Cooked and only £1.98

Enjoyed the Avacado and Halloumi sourdough muffin. And then the mocha… one of the best.

Visited a short time before closing and was completely ignored by the young gentleman at the counter - presumably, fearing that taking an order would have hampered their dash for home. Ironically, I only wanted a vegan pastry, so no delay for the staff, and less waste that particular evening! Only one thing is consistent about my visits to Leon: the abysmal customer service. And, before you churn out your generic template response, let me save you the bother - I WON’T be giving you a second chance.

Depends on what time you stop here as to how good it is. Staff numbers drop off in the evening and they can be rather slow! Still better than anything else at a services!

It's such a shame because this is my favourite LEONS. The staff have always been wonderful and the food, delicious. However, today there was a woman serving who I haven't seen before. She got cross with another member of staff just for asking her a question, you could see he was intimidated by her as he continued to explain why he was asking the question. She then barked at me 'YES' to take my order. I asked for the Gluten Free breakfast and she slapped an allergen book down in front of me. I said it was ok because I eat from this LEONS on a regular basis and know what I can have, she then barked - ITS COMPANY POLICY and shoved it back at me. This woman's attitude was dreadful, I felt so uncomfortable, if shes serving again next time, I'm not going near!

We walked into the bombardment of food choices at Norton Canes Services on the M6 Toll (Northbound) and chose Leon. Very glad we did so. The staff were fantastic - sincerely friendly, polite and efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never been so satisfied by a service station takeaway choice. I chose the Vegan Moroccan ‘meatballs’ with some fries. Served almost immediately and super-tasty. Well done!!!

I only stop there as a necessity... Often overcrowded...silly prices.

After waiting 10-15 minutes for the nuggets i was advised the oven just broke, so did i want to wait for some more - yes i said and was told to sit down and they'd bring them over to my seat. A further 20 minutes and i returned to the till and they were sitting there waiting, no one had come to my seat. Unusual customer service

Lovely food, friendly staff, relatively expensive but expected as at a service station. Good range of menu items including festive and gluten free options

Love the food in here. The halloumi wrap is the best thing on the menu. Waffle fries always are lovely too, especially with a Korean mayo. Best fast food out there.

If your not feeling McDonald's then Leon is here. Elegant on the eye, delicious to the mouth. Over done it on the lemongrass but nothing I couldn't survive

Batch ordering and preparing of food meant a long wait with 5 customers ordered and all waiting & no queue left. Not good for customer at front of queue!

Lovely hotel, beautifully maintained, but would have preferred a bathroom that I didn't have to squeeze through to get to the loo. Food excellent

Stopped at the services for a quick lunch and the shortest queue was at Leon. Now I know why!! Two chicken burgers, one coke and a cappuccino £18.57!! Shocking prices but I would just about accepted that if the food had been nice. Oh my goodness, it was appalling. The chicken burger was awash with sauce, so much so that the bun was literally falling apart. Both myself and my husband just threw it away. Tasteless mush ! The very small £3.29 cappuccino was at least drinkable and you can’t go wrong with a can of coke. We had to go to the Spar for sandwiches because we were still hungry. I recommend to queue at McDonald’s for a far tastier and much cheaper option. Gutted I wasted my money

Always call here on the way to visit family up North. Clean and tidy lots of food to choose from. Plus a spar and Smith's.

Just had our dinner here half way through a long journey. This is one of the best fast food outlets I've ever been to. The food was restaurant quality and it has the friendliest and nicest staff I've ever experienced at a services!

Hmm …we used to look forward to visiting Leon as part of our travelling experience. It just wasn’t the same this time. The aioli chicken tasted like pork, and there wasn’t enough of it (mostly just brown rice). Sorry to say it felt very overpriced for what we got (£17 chicken/rice, Korean burger, one coffee).

Waited 20 mins while the staff jumped on each other in the kitchens. No one wore gloves throwing the buns into the toaster. Poor hygiene. Poor standards. The front of house just kept asking for the orders again and again. No apologies. I've been here before with a massive wait but this was appalling. I won't bother coming here. Burger was cold when it arrived too. Appalling.

Brazilian black bean, that was left standing for so long the rice had hardened off. Cheese sauce, like dish water. Do not eat here. Food tasted like road grit. You have been warned.

Not their usual wide range, but delicious. So much nicer than normal fast food Coffee served at drinking temperature rather than being too hot to drink. Couldn't finish mine, so had the rest for tea. Super tasty rice with it too.

Had a big breakfast box for £5.59. Beats McDonald's. 2 eggs, a nice sausage, bacon(more like thick cut ham), beans, mushrooms and halloumi. Good stuff. Quick. The venue could use some signage to indicate where to order, queue up and collect from. Overall good stuff. Friendly staff.

Raw bacon looked like it had been microwaved!

Forgot bottle of water. And the cheesy fries are very disappointing, picture on board isn't what we received - smaller and cheese was in liquid form rather than grilled (which is what it looked like in picture). However, the grilled halloumi wrap was very tasty and substantial, definitely buy that again. Halloumi in every bite :)

Great ad usual. Excellent service great food and coffee... you don't expect fine dining on motorways, but healthy food that's fast is a real bonus

What a find at a Motorway Services. The food we had was delicious and a healthy option after a Christmas of too much eating. Happy to recommend.

Really not good , no fried eggs to go with breakfast 7.00 am , bacon undercooked, staff just not on it , see tired at the beginning of a shift . Just not a good experience

I was looking forward to our stop on a 5 hour drive as I’ve had a break earlier this year at Leon on the M6 toll and it was great .today though the haloumi wrap was mostly wrap and not much filling and the chips were cold . The young lady did offer a replacement but had already eaten it . Just a bit disappointed really.

The manner of service I received from the staff on the counter today is appalling, I really don't know maybe it's because I have a dark skin, I ordered double sausage and egg while I wait to collect, by the time I was called upon to collect my order, they served me without a bag pack and tissue, and handed the wrap straight in my hands, I took it and realised it was bacon and not sausage when I opened it....i informed staff to change my meal to the right order I paid for, I was told to wait again, while I was standing waiting again to collect my order, I observed about 4 customer was served correctly with a bag pack and wipes included maybe because they have white skin colour, by the time I was called the second time to collect my order, the same attitude and behaviour the staff portrayed towards me with the wrong order at first instance was repeated again ( No bag pack and wipes) I ask one of the staff why do she think she needs to serve me with no bag pack when it's obvious previous customers before me was properly served and mine was handed directly in my hands. There was no apology at all, what the staff did was to put my meal into a bag pack and looked away. It was intentional and sad I will never patronise your business anylonger.. this happened today (13/11/2021) between 10:30am-10.55am

The worst burger I have ever had. The chicken was grisly and fatty, no Korean sauce flavour. The bread was so dry I couldn't eat, so £7.50 thrown in the bin after not eating since breakfast I was very annoyed. AVOID like the plague
