Morrisons Cafe in Cannock Chase

Never in my life have I seen such a dive, imbred cafe. Couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. Sausages looks like they’ve been fighting each other, a good vet would bring the bacon back to life. Staff should be in a care home not a cafe

Visited this place as we were shopping here. We ordered 1 x half chicken dinner 2 x egg on toast and 2 hash browns. The chicken was just about warm. The roast potatoes,were missing ad they had none. The eggs were hard as nails so went back and the replacement eggs were stone cold. These went back too. The hash browns were very nice. The staff are pleasant but the service is dire. Been herehalf hour and we still waiting for a refund. It's cold in here too. Avoid this place ad it's rubbish.

Been using this store for years. Both emergency service workers during the pandemic and the staff were great until recently. The door staff and manager were extremely rude to my wife and yesterday we found our Christmas turkey to be off and rotten! Will never be using this store again , awful

The lovely ladies in Morrison are worked into the ground and it’s been like this for years! It’s a shame! Only giving this 3 stars because the company need a kick up the arse! Foods good & always hot, service only lets them down due to the above.... pull your finger out Morrison’s, your staff are run ragged in your cafe!

Can’t fault the food or the service. The kids got to eat free if an adult spent over £3.60. So we both had a breakfast sausage, bacon, eggs, 2 toast, beans and tomato and a drink. Then got the kiddies a couple of drinks of fruit juice. The kids had a free breakfast each. Bargain. We were served quickly. You help yourself to tea & coffee, given a number. Got our cutlery and the breakfast was right in front of us. Couldn’t of asked for a quicker service. Tables were clear and cafe was clean. We noticed they do a teatime meal deal also. 2 adults & 2 kids meals for £10.

The food was good, but able bodied customers were sitting at the wheelchair friendly table. The waitress served other customers, who had ordered after me first. I thought that very discourteous, and was disappointed. I shall not be returning.

Went for a breakfast this morning and waited in the order queue for 10mins .Unfortunately the queue wasn't moving at all. After 10 mins the lady told the customer at the front it's going to be a 25 minute wait for food. At that point I decided it's really not worth it and left. 10 mins of my life I'll never get back. Could have been worse. Could've lost 35 mins...for a bacon sandwich! Whilst there was a queue the place wasn't overly busy. Very disapointing. Had to go elsewhere.

This is a lovely cafe. Food is nice, staff are nice but could do with some more staff working. Whoever is on the till have a lot of work to do!

There is a very reasonable choice of food available but WHY is there only one checkout .........where the lady can't work the till !!! Please......train before you let them loose on the public! Dear Morrisons.......Not the lady's fault; it's yours!

Superb Just what the 'Doctor' ordered. Lol Well cooked and presented. We have been back and will return. Only criticism is that not enough staff to keep tables clear. They would get more biz if tables cleared. Wont stop me returning tho

I regularly pop in here with my 83 year old mum after we've been shopping for a cuppa or a snack. I am a Coeliac and have to avoid wheat, barley and rye so am unable to eat most things due to cross contamination but I can have the odd gluten free sandwich or a jacket spud. The potatoes in particular are very filling and plentiful with a nice side salad and plenty of filling. My mum enjoys the sandwiches, particularly the prawn and the tuna. There is quite a good range of drinks from soft drinks , varieties of teas and coffees and at around £4-5 a head very good value for money.

Uso este café sobre una base regular, la mayoría del personal es muy amable, (excepto uno, que nunca parece que quiere estar allí) La comida es buena por el precio, pero tendrá que esperar hasta 30 / 40 minutos en las horas punta. El problema parece ser una escasez de personal. . . . Los clientes esperando a que servirá en la factura. . . Llena de bandejas. mesas sucias/vajilla esperando a ser movido, las chicas pobres ronda como pollos sin cabeza. . . . . ven Morrisons conseguir más personal.

Ordered Fish and chips/peas and Lamb Shanks meals. Both were very good and we will return for another visit. Freshly cooked and very satisfied with quality and price.

First time I had been since they had done the refurbishment. Whilst they have done a nice job they really haven't thought about people sitting at the tables. There was no room for people to sit back to back. I felt as if the woman behind me was going to sit on my lap. There was no where to out the trays that you have used. Food still good cooked nice and fresh. They do seem to have made the portions very small though. Staff are nice and friendly. Just need to sort the furniture out.

Currently awaiting refurbishment in May so will be interesting to see what changes are made. It's a little compact as things stand with no scope for expansion. Staff and menu satisfactory though.

The cafe was very clean, the staff very helpful, the food was inexpensive and yet tasty and filling. We fed 5 of us for under £20. Go for the large breakfast.

Good value and range of food very popular Due to partner not eating a lot we were able to share a fish and chip meal satisfactorily (plenty for both)

Staff very friendly. Lots to chose off the menu. Reasonably priced. Didn't have too wait long for food to be cooked. Wouldn't have minded waiting as you know it is cooked freshly. Nice and clean lots of tables to chose from. Will be going back

I often go here if I'm in the area, the service is good, and the staff are polite. The food is usually nice, although the fish and chips isn't the best.

Would just recommend just having a coffee . Don't know if its the Extraction or the Filters n but place always stinks when I have been in There are other places better not far away

Nipped in after a long morning of shopping ,was nice to have a sit down in the cafe and the staff were all welcoming the boy especially who helped me carry my tray over to the table and made feel like a valued customer. In addition the food was excellent and was obviously prepared freshly and at a reasonable price . I'll definitely be going back!

Standard cafe fare, staff pleasant and polite. cheap and cheerful, great after a hard days shopping.

This is a very good cafe for basic good value food it is clean the staff are nice very good value no frills but good hot food

Ate in there when we had problems with cooker , and was very pleasantly surprised . Food very good !!

I often have a snack or sometimes a meal here when shopping, it is one of the main reasons I tend to shop at Morrisons. Considering the price the food is very good, freshly prepared and the staff cheerful and helpful.

I went for dinner, treating the kids during a weekend shop and it tasted like everything was microwaved and the kids left most of theirs saying it wasn't very nice.

I ordered the Little Breakfast for £3.90, plus 60p for an extra egg. The meal consisted of fried eggs, hash brown, rasher of bacon, baked beans and two rounds of toast... whci were all piled onto one fairly small plate. The food was tasty and freshly cooked, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
