Slim Chickens Cannock in Cannock Chase

Wanted to try this place for ages… it did not live up to expectations. Chicken tenders were soggy and only the ends had any crunch. Chips were tasteless and dry.

Wings were tough had them changed to tenders well overpriced. Good selection of sauces though. Wouldn't recommend or go back!

I normally love slim Chickens especially in the Restaurant, however on this occasion decided to have a delivery, ordered two five piece tender meals with two milkshakes, when being delivered and opening the box there was only four pieces of chicken in each meal, no straws for the milkshakes and the fries were cold and soggy, this was the worst take out I've ever had in my life. I dont like being ripped off and at £30 for both meals there can only be two scenarios, one being the delivery driver took it on himself to sit and eat some of the food before delivering. or the restaurant just don't take the appropriate care over their deliveries. my advice don't ever have a take out from slim chickens.

Great Chicken! We all know the Colonel does chicken but this is sooooooo much nicer. Soaked in Buttermilk makes it so tender! It’s on the more expensive side but it’s also lovely, Chicken Tenders, Texas Toast, Deep Fried onions and deep fried pickles, all with the Habanero Mango Sauce yummmmmmy. You honestly will never go back to KFC as this is how Chicken should be! Love the Kitchen Roll instead of napkins, it’s so much better than Napkin wasted all over the place.

Not impresssed with customer service, asked for ketchup, got the reply nah run out, when questioned it was can’t help it if we run out, and a shrug of the shoulders, not be returning

Always been impressed until now. The brand seemed to be knocking it out the park. Eaten in several and all very consistant. Today, place not clean, food cold, milk shake tasteless. Scored it a 3 as I think it was a one off day ...not a brand decision to be this poor

Ordered classic chicken sandwich. Asked if I could scan loyalty app server snapped No as you have paid. Why not ask people who are using the app to scann loyalty code before paying. Burger arrived bun absolutely freezing cold. Chicken lukewarm but rapidly becoming fridge cold due to the horrendous cold bun. Dry tasteless and chewy. Absolutely the worst chicken burger I have ever had. Dreadful.

The service was fast and friendly. The buffalo chicken sandwich was excellent, wings and tenders also very good. I really like the selection of sauces that you can choose to accompany your meal too. A good choice if you're looking for fresh fast food

We’ve eaten here many times, staff are always friendly and the food arrives quickly. The food is tasty and the choice of sauces is great.

I ordered 6 pcs. Wings. When I look at it it looks nice, but when I bite it smells raw chicken I look the other one it's the same. I never it again in cannock slim chicken.

The food is lovely, always fresh and never much of a wait compared to other branches. The staff are also lovely, giving the place a welcoming atmosphere.

This review is for a take away order, only two people and a simple order. Half the items were missing which result in a 30 ‘minute return journey. The food which was provided was poor, over cooked and cold. I would not recommend or return

Cold food. 3 meals out of 4 stone cold. No sorry no care and just tutting from the staff. Go to Tamworth and same there. Cold food again. Contact head office and no reply. Contact Twitter they say contact head office. Don’t think they will last long in business.

Delicious! My son had just had surgery at UCHL so I ordered a meal to be delivered to our hotel. It came in 15 mins, was lovely and hot, the chicken tenders were amazing!!! The gravy mayo is lovely. An ice cold coke topped off my meal.

aweful quality food I’d be embarrassed to serve that! Chicken was cold, chewy and over cooked I’d say it’s frozen food warmed up but for a premium price. This is the 3rd time I’ve given it a chance but never again

The chicken batter has got a bit of a weird smell. Not sure whether it’s the oil or the batter itself. As the meal arrived cold we got the chance to tell whether it was this meal or they all smelt like that. We found out, they all smell like that! To be fair the replacement meal did arrive at least hot. For over £30 you at least expect a hot meal. Ordered 2 meals and had two sides the fried onions and the coleslaw. To be fair these were the best part of the meal. No saying much for the chicken is it. Not sure what the garlic toast thing is supposed to be but it tasted burnt and didn’t look very appetising. Like a buttered fried toast?? Would I recommend it…No. Would I go back… No. KFC is just better. If you want decent wings in Cannock go to the Podge and Tin.

Did a click and collect order today. Had amazing food when we last ate there last year. The food today was stale didn’t look appetising. They missed half the order out the bag. They will only refund me less than half the order and said the food was checked and quality was checked, if that was the case how can you miss half the order … doesn’t sound right to me to be honest but there you go. Had to go out and get another takeaway closer to us so it’s been a very expensive night unfortunately. Won’t be going again.

Waited 30 mins for some chips!!! Had to ask for them twice before they finally gave them to us never mind the fact we had to give ourselves table service. Wouldn’t have minded if it was busy but it was 2:30 on a Thursday so it wasn’t busy at all!!! Only got the two stars because the ranch sauce is nice

My favourite food by far is ‘chicken wings’ went shopping and saw this place, thought I’d give it a whirl, and MY GOD, I could’ve stayed there for the day, I’ve been to lots of “specialist” wing places, and a few “wing fests” and this place matched the best or might’ve even beat them, GORGEOUS, I can’t get over the quality, I had the 6 wings meal, which came with Texas toast, (garlic toast) Korean bbq sauce, on them, fries (which were the best I’ve ever had) and bottomless drink, oh, and a honey mustard dip. Visited here after doing some shopping on the outlet centre and was impressed. My salad was full and plentiful. Glad I visited and would go again next time I’m in the area

Never been to a Slim Chicken before. The Slim Salad was the best salad I have had in a fast food type establishment, really good main meal size with good choice of sauces. The chicken tender meals the family had were all excellent and hot. Slight wait for food due to it being a busy Saturday peak time that we chose to eat but staff quickly cleared a table for us so we could sit and wait. We would definitely eat here again and will look out for them in other locations.

Easy order on the self service till, food came after about 10 minutes could tell the tenders were fresh and the whole meal tasted hot and fresh, the popcorn milkshake was also really really nice!

Great service, great food, well portioned apart from the wraps, which were loaded with too much salad and not enough chicken but overall a great place to eat after a day of shopping, good clean place including toilets.
