The best restaurants in Tewkesbury South West

Stay away!!! Very poor food quality. worst Indian food we had. We ordered take-away and the person who served us realised that we were not locals as we’re just visiting, hence served us poor food. Definitely waste of money. Never again.

Avoid the sandwiches like the plague. Dry, stale bread, and I quote "our sandwiches don't come with butter"! Isn't that the basis of a sandwich? Won't be going back anytime soon!

The restaurant is a beautiful, panelled room designed for small groups and couples. The staff were always attentive and very knowledgeable. The wine and drinks choice to accompany was wide and varied, including non-alcoholic.

We went to the old elm last year and had a superb Sunday lunch. This time the food was great but could have been hotter - we didn’t moan at the the time C as we were hungry but will next time. We will go again but definitely ask for the dinner to come piping hot. Great beer btw.

Lovely meal at spicy aroma. Lots of choice and the food is great. Really lovely staff and great service!

Vine aquí para el brunch y no me decepcionó, me encantó la comida y la elección en batidos, si viviéramos aquí, sin duda usaría más el delicatessen, se veía increíble! El servicio era encantador también y parecía conocer bien a sus habituales!

Disappointing experience. The sausage bap was nice, but when I had the temerity to ask for salt and pepper they did not have any! They serve food but do not supply condiments, I was astonished at this. I am 77 years of age now and I have never been in a place that sells food but does not supply salt and pepper. The desert, a Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake at £3.95 did not have a pleasant texture. It was rather heavy, soggy and did not taste very nice/

He estado un par de veces recientemente. El café es de primera categoría suave y delicioso. Todos los pasteles y salazones en el gabinete refrigerado se ven deliciosos. He comido un bacon bap que estaba caliente y lleno de tocino. La sidra caliente estaba deliciosa. Vale la pena visitarlo. Mucho aparcamiento.

Great english breakfast of both variations, normal and vegetarian. Great service from attentive staff. Can get very busy at sunday morning opening times.

A large group of friends visited for a (choices pre-booked) brunch celebration. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating at clean tables. The breakfast menu is extensive and food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Drinks order was prompt and all the food arrived together. The staff could not have been more helpful and went out of their way to make the occasion special. Highly recommend.

Had lunch here while on our day out at the steam railway. The cafe is situated behind the station building and in the carpark. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. The food is good and reasonably priced.

This place is such a beautiful atmosphere great staff and so friendly! Food came out on time and was perfect i would recommend coming here for food and drinks with family!

As im a regular at costa also have 2 family members work for them also. I found the experience I recived today at this branch terrible. I asked for my drinks to be extra hot and the look I got of the woman doing the drinks. She replied with it will burn you and the face well a smile would be great with a service. Not only that do they not clean the food cabinet as it has thick dust on. Not very hygienic I must say.

I love Laytons. It feels like a 'modern' fish & chips - and I mean that in a complimentary way. Always lots of locals in here, and the food is always good. A definite must for people passing through
