If I could my latest experience zero stars I would. Over the years Iāve been buying fish and chips here and itās been great with decent portion size or if anything too much. I always order large cod and it is massive however today I received 2 slivers of cod. I went back after buying with it to ask if I had been given the wrong cod - the grumpy lady behind the counter opened it and declared it was definitely large and told me sorry you came back and its now cold, wrapped it up and gave it back to me. Not what you expect and I could clearly see the fish that was cooked and waiting was larger. Awful customer service, would rather drive 5 mins further and go to Simpsons-similar price but with food customer service and better tasting food

Very strange one. Got a delivery. The delivery woman was really quick, friendly. Took the food upstairs and realised I was missing a part of the order. I rang the restaurant and they said they would deliver the missing part of the order and apologised for the inconvenience. 5 minutes later I then received another phone call from the restaurant from a woman shouting down the phone at me calling me a liar! Absolutely shocking customer service in the end. Definitely would not recommend, unless you fancy having an argument!

Awful. Got a parking fine that they are forcing me to pay because I parked in P&C and popped in to get some bits for the kids and they didn't come out with me. There were plenty of spaces free an no sigs by P&C. They cleverly put them around other areas..... I will not shop there again which means they are losing a lot more than £40 going forward. Jobsworths!!!!!

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Beautiful garden for relaxing with a wee drink. Climbing frame for the children which they all love so much. Space for them to run around playing tag, etc. PLUS our pooches are very welcome too. They even have a large keg/barrow full of water and plenty of bowls to keep our Dog's hydrated & as happy as us humans! This is the perfect public house to visit in the summer time with the whole Family. You will never be disappointed at the Appletree! 10/10 āļø

I frequently visit the Wheatpieces for a family meal out with my children. As always the staff are fantastic. It's become the norm now that we when we walk in the staff know exactly what's required (Usually the very lovely Bry) and get the carbohydrates book put ready for us as my eldest is a type 1 diabetic so needs to know the right amount of carbs for her insulin requirements. I can't thank the staff enough for making sure everything is done to spec and making sure that my daughters food is exactly how it needs to be for her. the chef has always been fab at accommodating my other children as they are also fussy eaters š . Thanks guys for always being amazing with us ā¤ļø

I was greeted by the (assumed) proprietor, a very pleasant and friendly geezer. The other staff were equally as welcoming. As a teetotal bod I normally avoid licensed premises but I thought I'd give The White Hart Inn a go as the cafƩ next door was closed. I strive to be as accurate as possible with my reviews so I've gotta say my latte was fairly ordinary but, in mitigation, they're a pub. The primary function of such establishments is to sell alcoholic beverages, those around me seemed pleased with whatever was in their glasses. The menu also looked inviting.

Having had a great meal and service in the past, I bought two, £70.00 gift vouchers for my family for Christmas. I wanted to use them for a family celebration meal, only to be told I could only use 1 voucher per table. They have had our £140.00 since Christmas. Why then can't we spend it in one go? Is it as good as cash, surely? I am very disappointed that they have had my cash since Christmas and now I want to spend it, the restrictions prevent this. I am not aware of any other company having such restrictions. My advice is not to buy gift vouchers for this establishment as it is tricky to retrieve your cash.
