Lovely fish, lovely chips. Saveloy wasnt great if I'm honest hence 4 not 5 stars for the food. Curry sauce was decent.

Very busy but ordered ahead. Impressed by a fully available gluten free menu. Chips were tasty, plaice was lovely and scampi pretty good. Overall a nice chippy.

Why I gave this 5 stars is simple…the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted, nothing fancy, but they did have what ever I asked for, plus lots of local folks were popping in and out, classify it as just what this American was hoping to experience. The food was great, service even better by a very helpful server. The next day we hit 7 Cotswold Villages were looking for a place to eat but that tasty fish and chip dinner from the night before called our taste buds all the way back…had an even better English experience. Thank goodness not all independent shop have left this world of ours.

Very small and expensive portions but the fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Would prefer extra thick white bread for 50p a slice. Very clean restaurant and toilets. Fast service. One lady a bit gobby but lovely all the same. Good location and parking available on the street. Busy flow of regulars coming in which suggests loyalty and popularity. Thanks.

Update your times online, drove to town as stated open till 2030 , you closed at 1945. Disappointing!

Got back late from Cornwall and the only chippy open was the Fishnet. Now cash only (dont blame them) so they let me use the phone to check card pin to get cash. It was worth it. Freshly fried cod was super crispy and tasty. Chips were lovely too. Staff outstanding. Thanks team.

These people at fishnet are always welcoming and cheery. The food is great too, although this time was a little greasy compared to normal. But still tasty!

Friendly attentive service, hot and tasty freshly cooked food. Reccomend the cod n chips and battered sausages. Clean throughout. Wheelchair accessible seating area a bonus.

The so called customer service in this place is shocking. I’m surprised they have any business with the way they talk to their customers, oh and the tiny portions for big prices. Do not recommend one bit. There are other chippies very near by that I would recommend that I will be going to instead as I will not be returning.

Omg the worst fish & chips I've ever had . We sat by canal to eat this I couldn't believe my fish actually looked like a battered sausage that was actually size and shape as for the chips not even the pigions would eat them

FAB food, well cooked and lovely staff.

I went to the other chipshop but they didn't have any chicken or halloumi burgers so tried here and although they didn't do halloumi burgers, what we had was very nice

The chips portion was good and also nicely done but give 2 star becous the suseg have the test of a fish as I think they fried everything in the same oil, iff I buy suseg I want to eat a suseg not fish. Hope they improve becouse this kinde of errors are not acceptable if people give you their money

Nicest chippy I've had in an age, and great portion sizes! Gluten free menu every bit as good as the "normal" menu - well worth calling ahead for or even waiting if necessary.

Having just moved into the area we chanced upon this fish and chip retaurant. My wife and I had what we can only describe as one of the best fish and chip s meal we have ever had. The shop was clean and service excellent but the product was even better, no hesitation in recommending.

After turning up at 8:30 on a Friday night and firstly being told "that is all that is left" then after asking for the Gluten free option. To be told with a big sigh from the staff and I will have to check with the boss. To then be told that they could not cook anything as it would take too long. Very disappointed with the staff on at the time and being a Friday night this was very disappointing. The new owners are not the same as the old boy who was running before. I will not be taking my friends back there again very let down with the misleading advertising on the shop front.

Friendly staff, very clean. Good food. Great selection for the kids. Enjoyed it, would go again if we lived closer.

As a vegetarian there is nothing for me to eat they do vegi burgers chips ect but when asked if they cook separate from the meat and fish they said no everything gets cooked together in one fryer!!! Nice!! Would be nice if they said they could cook something separate not very helpful. Savedy money no wonder I never eat out much.

Best Chips in town (the fish is excellent as well). Haven't tried the wide selection of other options (Kebab, burgers, sausages etc) but I'm sure they'll be equally good.

Worst fish and chips I have ever had in 20 years, poor service too, imho not sure these new guys who have taken over know what the are doing and just winging it. All the fish went in the bin. Undercooked and soggey as a wet sock. Horrific since changing hands we won't be going again. Too far for us to go back and ask for our money back.

Large cod, it definitely was. Reg chips cooked jst how l like it, served in paper, jst love the tradition of that. Batter abit soggy in places, but may have been cause l left in paper longer than planned before l got round to eating, will definitely be going back.

Just had Gluten Free fish and chips. Absolutely delicious 😋 the batter was fantastic. The portions were more than adequate- in fact we both left a few chips.!! Freshly cooked and a real treat Will be back

As a coeliac I really appreciated the care with which they prepared my gluten free meal. Absolutely no cross contamination and tasted fantastic as well. I haven't had gluten free onion rings since I was diagnosed a couple of years ago and I love that you made them fresh for me. Thank you!

Currently the best in Tewkesbury. Staff friendly too. Oh and unlike the Tewkesbury Fryer you actually get some fish inside the batter which i always think is a nice touch

Absolutely the best fish and chips we've had for years. Freshly cooked with a medium portion of chips between two was just perfect (although the chips were so good we wished we'd ordered a large portion!). Friendly service from the two ladies too, just what we needed on a wet Wednesday lunchtime. Thanks!

Absolutely disgraceful. £3.50 for a "large"portion of chips is just outrageous. I say "large". As per previous reviews the portion size is ridicoulsdy small. Coming out of lockdown when the nation is supposedly pulling together, putting a young member of staff on the front counter and charging extortionate prices is nothing short of immoral. I very much hope the "new" owners behind this business reflect pretty soon on their business practises. Fair Play please. !!!!!

Nice but portion sizes ridiculously small. This was a regular chips (£2.50) and Large cod & chips (£8.30). Shocking

I had a battered sausage and chips, the sausage wasn't greasy the chips were amazing. I'd definately recommend them and hope to visit soon.

Been here before and have had mixed experiences, however this time the portion sizes were a bit small and the chips were quite wet. Ordered gluten free chips in advance as they take longer to cook which is understandable, but were also very wet, asked for a medium but this also was smaller than we had thought it would be.We have had nice chips from here before, hopefully it’s just one of those days, maybe it was busy. The man who runs the shop is lovely and is always very welcoming whenever you go in, unfortunately it’s just that the chips are undercooked.

Popped in three times now for lunch. On all three occasions the fish and chips (and mushy peas ) were excellent. Reasonably priced... and friendly and helpful staff too

Very poor quality food. Soft chips and "large cod" was in my opinion just medium. Staff were totally disinterested. Will not be returning.

As my regular Fish n Chip store was closed I thought to pop into the The Fishnet. I asked for a regular fish and was given a very small dry piece of fish covered in batter. I questioned this and was told it was a "regular" size and it was not dry. As I was time constrained, I paid and left. It was the worst fish and chip meal I have had.

It was OK, a bit 1960's but food was alright if not great. Service quick.

Chips that nearly chip teeth, 1lb cheese burger is just four cheap burgers stacked on top of each other. my fault for not reading reviews before hand yuck! *AVOID AVOID*

Waited 25mins, got the order totally wrong, won't b going again

Food was cold, sausages more like frankfurters rather than "British". When phoned to complain the owner called me a liar and said it was impossible that they were cold. The shop was empty when we went and I can understand why. Avoid at all costs when there are other chippies very close.

Since moving to the area six months ago, the Fishnet has been a regular visit for me. Friendly staff, generous portions and I'd say one of the best plates of fish and chips in the country. If you're in Tewkesbury this is the place to eat.

20 minutes for 2 portions of chips when there were only 3 people in front really isn't good. I can see why this place is empty when the other chip shops are open. Sadly tonight they were closed 👎👎👎

Got a large chips and battered sausage to share with my girlfriend. Chips were all soggy and many of them various shades of green. The sausage was overwhelmingly greasy and didn't even looked fully cooked. The place looks clean and the staff are friendly but I'm afraid that's where the good points stop.
