The best restaurants in Swindon South West

My friend and I had lunch here on the day of our visit to Steam. We had the all day breakfast which was really good with tasty bacon and a filling plateful. As you don't have to visit the museum to use the cafe I would recommend eating here even if one is visiting the Outlet Village as the prices are far more reasonable. Very clean and well laid out with lots of room between the tables and the staff are all pleasant.

Absolutely shocking experience with this place..ordered a take away ,,food arrived cold ..poppadoms were like rubber ..onion borders were soggy,chips uncooked ,,rang in to the company to queries the shocking state of the food to be insured by the managers rudeness ,, please don't order from here I've wasted £35 on food to feed the trash bin .... SHOCKING PLACE

Great food as usual from Sanjay, Sunday roast today was excellent and so much of it, potatoes and Yorkshire’s were cooked perfectly and chicken and beef to die for. Glad when we can eat at the pub, but would recommend his Takeaways. Also would recommend Sanjay Curry’s, my 10 yr old daughter loves his Mild chicken curry. Well done Sanjay Terry & Family

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and wasn’t expecting anything too great if I’m honest. But…. Blown away,…. The best burger I’ve ever had !! Might have been called The Blue Boy? Burgers were lovely , bacon , blue cheese , sweet onions , lettuce was fresh ….. banging !!!! Puts 5 Guys/ Wendy’s / Burger King right in their place. Well done that chef!! Just shows you don’t have to pay top drawer prices for top drawer food!

Really nice, crispy battered sausage. Fresh chips, generous portions and at a good price, glad to have found my Friday night chippy tea so local

I love an Indian takeaway and we’ve travelled out here from town for years because they’re just the best. Incredibly friendly service, tasty food and good timings (not slow but not worryingly quick either)

Our first visit to this chippy after reading in the Advertiser they are the best in Swindon. We ordered a small sausage in batter and a small chips , we did not have to wait long for our order . Once at home we unwrapped the order to eat .The battered sausage coating was a rather crunchy , the chips for a small portion was massive , although a lot of the chips were small (we would rather have larger chips ) but they were well cooked and not greasy . Nice friendly staff and cheap prices .

The desserts were amazing and I love the vegan biscoff milkshake! I highly recommend for people who have a sweet tooth!!

Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. The food was tasty however the portions were a bit small. My biggest/only complaint would be the price seemed too steep.

Nice place, friendly staff. Lovely full English breakfast at a good price. It's only three minutes from the Premier Inn and makes a good alterative to the Premier's own breakfast.

I love Miller and carter usally, and I haven’t been in a couple of years. I was really looking forward to it … my £40 steak was stone cold, along with my chips and sauce. The steak was mostly inedible. I did get it taken off the bill, however I was very disappointed. The young lady that served us was absolutely lovely about the whole situation, and couldn’t have been nicer.

Food was absolutely stunning, made absolutely wonderfully by Mulumbi and the service given to us by Damun was top notch. Would really recommend the burgers and pulled pork loaded fries !! Great job guys !
