This place has been horrible recently, zero respect to customers. We have very bad experience in getting food delivery at home twice so far. Last year in July'24, we ordered food at 19.00pm and it was delivered at 10.00pm. owner said they will refund 20% on my card which never arrived. Today again same experience food ordered at 7.30 pm and it did not arrive until 9.30pm and that is after we visited the restaurant in person for refund.. very bad behaviour..
This was an amazing discovery for us
We love walking the dogs at barbury castle and this just became our go to pub on the journey home.
A local country pub as it should be
Once again a fabulous meal, Sharon and team are the best. Cameron looked after us
very professional and friendly, so are all the other staff. Sharon knows quality people and picks the best. Thank you all.
I came here with a group of friends as the Swindon game was on and the team were brilliant. Even though it was packed they were so efficient and made sure everyone was happy. 10/10 would recommend.
Whilst the decor in the restaurant is somewhat tired let's not take away from how good the curries were we all ordered food on the specials menu and all were excellent. The bill arrived and it was reasonable. I will definitely be going back
Great to find a restaurant open at lunchtime. Visited yesterday with my cousin and returned today with my son. I'll start with just one negative - prawns were nicely cleaned, but the tail was left on which when hidden in rice was unexpected. That said the food is really delicious, especially the Aloo chaat. Staff warm and friendly - nice relaxing lunch. Will be back!
We had a takeaway yesterday for the first time. Ordered a whole chicken tandoori and plain paratha. With all the good reviews I was really looking forward to try it. After a long wait which was more than 40 mins (one of the guys even asked me if I ordered) sitting in the shop we had our takeaway ready. I assumed it does take time for chicken tandoori but was disappointed with the chicken. It was not freshly cooked was dry and tasted like a day old. After all the wait and to find the food not fresh really put me off. I gave 2 stars for the paratha which was delicious and freshly made. I’m sure their others dishes are good.
We visit this cafe regularly, usually for a cake and cappuccino. It’s our favourite place to visit for refreshment. We are always very satisfied with the cake, coffee and service- the staff are lovely.
This week we decided to try lunch there. We both had bruschetta - it was lovely. It looked good, with various coloured tomatoes and tasted as good as it looked. It was excellent. We would strongly recommend a visit to this little tea rooms.
Service was very quick and the staff are very friendly.
Food arrived quickly, piping hot and the accompanying salad was very fresh.
Huge portion sizes so well worth their prices. My 11 year old loved it and has asked when we can visit again.
