Brilliant Sunday lunch. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast where we were served by Maria who was really friendly and profesional. Thank you for great food and amazing service 👌🏽

I ordered food for delivery . I ordered from both restaurants before this order came from greenbridge. It came nice and hot, delivery was quick, and the diver was lovely and polite, and it tasted delicious

Fast and friendly service. I had a bbq smashed patty burger and chocolate shake and both were tasty. Danny was a great server.

What can I say, our whole evening was just wonderful from start to finish . There were 15 of us for a hen party. They allowed us to decorate the tables and put a few banners and balloons around where we were seated . 2 for one cocktails were lovely and as for the food WOW . Being 15 of us all of the food came out together and was hot (no mean feat) !! Nothing was too much trouble . Our main sever was Maria and what a lovely person . She couldn’t do enough for us . Very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. An asset to the Ridge 😁 Compliments to the chef Kitchen staff and bar staff who were very prompt with the service they gave. Everyone so polite . If I could score more than 5 stars I would. Thank you for helping to make a memorable evening 😁

Despite only having 2 FoH staff on, the service was excellent. We were seated, order was taken and the food arrived within less than 20 minutes. The staff never stopped and it was clear they knew how every table was doing. Food was lovely and piping hot. Can't fault it.

The food was to die for, the portions were very generous . Lovely 2 for 1 cocktails .Danny was well mannered, and a very pleasant waiter who catered to all our needs. He definitely upholds high standards for the restaurant.

Having been to the ridge in shaw ridge and enjoying it on numerous occasions, one opening at green ridge was great. However it wasn’t. It was poor, we ordered drinks and 10 minutes later ordered food. The food then arrived before the drinks, having waited nearly 30 mins for them. The place wasn’t busy, probably 1/2 full, so not sure how long we would have had to wait if it was full. Food came. Wasn’t great, wasn’t bad, just wasn’t up to the ridges previous tastes, it was all a bit bland, roll was stale, very dry, burger had no taste, little sauce inside the burger, just basic, chips cold. No one checked back on us for the whole time so couldn’t even point out the issues if we wanted to. The dessert came and it was a fondue, however it wasn’t a fondue, it was a pot of cold chocolate sauce on a plate of stuff. They had no strawberries or bananas which they didn’t tell us about until they brought the pudding out otherwise we wouldn’t of ordered it if we just got brownie bits and marshmallows, but we ate it to be polite. Despite booking a table for 6, we were put on a small table and told, sorry but all our big tables are still in use at the moment. You would think booking would give you a table, but here clearly not. Whole experience was a let down, I don’t recommend coming here, we may or may not go back to the ridge at Shaw ridge in the future, but definitely not this one! such a shame.

Food was excellent, staff were very polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Would defo recommend 100%, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

Visited the new Ridge restaurant at Greenbridge last Thursday and were served by Scott The food was amazing quality - we ordered from the lunch menu. The chips had an amazing seasoning and the burgers tasted fresh. We will definitely return again with our wider family! Great place to have close the the cinema.

What an absolute mad lad George is. Amazing service and fantastic hair. Was incredible in describing the options and serving sizes of each food, much to the relief of my beloved (who did not have much of an appetite, but was still in awe of the options). Food was great, as was the service from the man himself (and his legendary sense of humour). Thank you for a great experience on our date! Made us laugh and made the entire outing perfect.

We had a meal 4 adults and 3 children . The young lady who served us was so lovely. The food was very tasty . Everyones meal came out together even though we had ordered a wide range of food between us. Great menu choice and good prices. We will definitely return when in Swindon.

Worst experience at at restaurant I've ever had. Arrived at the greenbridge restaurant at 4pm after visiting the cinema and was told by the guy that we could have a table for 2 until 5pm, which seemed strange as it was not even half full inside, but this was fine because we were only going to have a main meal and drink. We were shown to our seats and given menus but 25 minutes later at 4:25pm we still had nobody even come and ask what we wanted to order, not even a drink, even though staff were stood around doing nothing. We then decided to just leave as I wasn't prepared to have a meal under prepared and being rushed to finish by 5pm. Next time I'll stick to the reliable Pizza Express.

We went to the opening weekend of The Ridge East last night, it was so busy and had a great atmosphere about it, we were prepared to wait a long time for our food order however, within minutes our food arrived and it was so well presented, really tasty and freshly cooked, The service was excellent, they couldn’t do enough for us. Shanice & George were seamless in their management of their staff and the whole place in fact, I am confident this new restaurant is going to be a huge success, congratulations Scott & Luke on your new venture. Food was nice, but you need to employ staff that can actually take orders rather than just collect glasses. We asked about 4 members of staff if we could order but all they said was “sorry I can’t take orders” it just went round in circles. The place was quite too and the drinks took way to long to arrive. Won’t be in a hurry to return. Real shame

Me and my partner decided to try this place out as it was just across from our hotel. When we arrived front of house was amazing, asked if we had booked as we hadn’t she said she would see what she could do. A few moments later she is back and found us a table. Very grateful for fitting us in, until our meals came!!We ordered burger and hot dog. Meals came out very quickly for how busy the place seemed!! My partner was saying about the burger not tasting right, either it had been cooked hours before and left sitting around or it wasn’t cooked properly!! We decided not to order anything else we got our bill and left. Within 45 minutes of leaving the restaurant my partner was sick in the bathroom and tossing and turning all night due to stomach cramps!!Will not visit again due to the poor standard of food.

Attended on a VERY busy Saturday night, service was faultless. Would like to give a special shout out to the manager ( I didn’t catch her name) but she was a machine!! Helping out in any way she could, must’ve seen her do every job in the 2 hours we were there!! The waiters and bar staff were excellent and the food was very tasty. All in all, a well oiled machine doing everything they can to provide great service.

We visited on a Thursday evening and were pleasantly surprised how busy it was. We were seated on one of the sofas. The staff were all pleasant. The service was slow however, to order, to get drinks, to get bill and to pay. The drinks were priced as expected nowadays.

The wife and I visited whilst having a weekend away in Swindon. We chose here due to the gluten free options (wife is coeliac).The place has a good atmosphere and decor, it was busy but not overly loud. The food - I ordered peri peri chicken thighs the ones that arrived were plain, however they tasted great and I had no complaints. The ribs were a let down, they are similar to what can be purchased at a superstore and heated in the microwave...Sweet potato fries were very good. My wife ordered a gluten free chill burger and pulled pork fries - when the food arrived at the table the fries were plain, we advised the table server whom then proceeded to take the whole meal back to the kitchen and return several minutes later with pulled pork fries. The wife enjoyed her meal although it triggered her coeliac when we returned to the hotel and she was bloated fur the rest of the evening. On the whole it was an aveage restaurant which we won't be racing back too....

We come here alot. Never had a bad experience and the food is always delicious. Cocktails are amazing and the 2 for 1 happy hour is great value. Served again by Atalya who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. One of our favourite places for a nice evening out.

We came for my sisters birthday for dinner yesterday. Table booked at 19.30 under my partners name Kiyle. Our table got put in between 2 roundy hen and birthday party’s. We had to shout at each other to have any conversation. After we complained We were then moved which was fine. We asked The waitress for our bill, which the bill was being split. She stated she was terrible at maths. The bill was 90.85. The card machine kept failing and after 4 separate failed transactions it finally worked (all contactless) so we couldn’t see what she was charging us, nore did we take a receipt. We then left, and was embarrassingly chased across the car park over £4.85 and asked to come back in to the restaurant. I was absolutely mortified! People were staring and pointing thinking we had all walked out and not paid our bill! Most embarrassing experience of my life! To then get back to the restaurant to be told we hadn’t been charged the 4.85 ‘outstanding’ when actually the waitress had clocked up with our bill after the 4th time of trying to charge us for the meal. She was also stood infront of us when we returned! With no apology for her mess up. Just looking the opposite direction. I still feel mortified this morning! There was a table of a few of the mums from my sons school who witnessed the ordeal aswell! Who probably think we walked out without paying like how your staff made it look! this was a rare get together with my sister as we are both nurses and like 70 miles apart !We both went home totally embaressed and never want to return to this venue again! And we certainly want some of our money back!!

Exceptional service and great evening had. 241 on cocktails before 7pm also 3 course meal for £10 before 7pm. The food was outstanding and tasty. Sophie was our waitress & provided us great service. No complaints at all and will be back.

It was an ok experience, I wouldn’t return just because the cleanliness, tables were sticky, leather sofa’s very outdated, and there was a musky smell to the restaurant. food was ok. Friend did joke and said we should of got a mcdonald’s. Staff were very young and dressed very informal. The young boy who served us was polite and was working very hard and seemed like the only one doing something.

We visited this afternoon for our first and very last time. Something for everyone on the scuffy reused paper menus, our food arrived quickly but mid meal we discovered that water droplets were dripping from the ceiling onto our plates. We informed a member of staff when they came to check to clear our table, we also requested our bill at this point. It was about 2.35pm at this point, the manager came over and we told him about the leaking ceiling, he didn't apologise but asked if we'd like to move. We said no because we'd like to go now, it had ruined our meal, he then apologised and said he would take something off our bill. We waited a further 15 minutes while the manager and two our members on staff served everyone around us while we continued to sit and wait. We eventually went to the door and asked for the bill, they gave us our bill in full, we asked to speak to the manager, where he when came over and told us we didn't have a children's meal to remove from our bill, we didn't have a clue what an earth he was on about, we didn't order a child's meal, he said that's what we had said was the problem and would now have to wait for him to watch CCTV to check who's food the ceiling dripped on.At this point we were very cross and fed up,At the end of the day that could be toilet water dripping on our plates and nobody went out of there way to make up for that, all other members of staff were polite and professional but the manager on duty should be ashamed of himself. Don't waste your money here.

Thursday night - super busy and i can see why - cocktails galore and great food. Superb service from Jack - who kept up with our orders ! First came here 25+ Years ago Pinkertons and Shaw Ridge Tavern and will keep coming !!! Thank you and well done !

Visited here on a busy Saturday - staff were very accommodating with us wanting to sit outside! Food was lovely and we ordered a wide range from vegan salads to beef brisket! Cocktail 2-4-1 offer seems good but they are quite small so you need 2 to make up for it! Staff were attentive and deserve Hugh praise!
