After ordering it took over an hour for the food to come to us and then desert took around 40 min and after chasing two came and the kids deserts took another 20 min and when asked staff was not bothered

Food was good, but service was a bit slow. We were the only customers in at the time and food took a long time to come out.

Lewis, the manager, who welcomed us, couldn’t have been more helpful. Food and service was very good even though they’d been left short staffed today.

Toilets disgusting, never use it. Food was okay. Spicy. Service was nice but had to ask for each bit as they were forgetful/ gave wrong orders, missing orders etc. We didn't bother asking for everything back but you can see each dish of the same food had different stuff. E.g. missing sauce or lemon, or sides. A single meal is same price as 2 so we bought double. Those who only had 1 portion looked rather hungry as they were picking up every part of the plate. For a pub I think it's average. Atmosphere was nice and staff were nice.

Our appetites are not what they once were so their 2 lunches for £11.49 is excellent value. There was quite a wait from ordering to receiving the food but we are retired and the wait wasn’t a problem. In fact it usually indicates it has been cooked fresh rather than having been hanging around for a while being kept warm. We both had the fish and chips and were very pleased. My only complaint would be that the garden peas might have been green painted ball bearings. They were either of very poor quality or hadn’t been cooked for long enough. The service was very good, especially from Luis who might have been the manager. We will definitely be returning.

Food was good but Petra the waitress was rude, didn't clear our plates and we didn't have fresh cutlery. She definitely needs to be taught how to deliver good customer service.

When I arrived at the Kembrey Inn I thought the decor and gardens looked rather forlorn, inside the decor and carpets need replacing, we waited for 35 minutes for our meal, but the food was amazing, so that was the saving grace.

The food was the worst we have ever tasted and we eat out alot. Was frozen produce. The restaurant was extremely dirty. Definitely wouldn't go again and definitely would not recommend going there.

Staff was nice. Manager is very pleasant. Food and drink were good and reasonabley priced. We had a pizza and lasagne. All round pleasant pub for food.

Nancy and her team were fantastic today. Service was amazing. Nancy was friendly and welcoming as ever. Food was great and quick service. Nancy is always so welcoming.

Went for the meal deal which was great value for money. Great place to go for a reasonable priced meal. Not the place if you want fancy food. Overall nice place and always found staff to be pleasant

Turned up late for Breakfast but plenty of food. All the basics all hot and tasty. Nice greeting when we walked in gave us a good experience. Having experienced a bad one I can assure you this Brewers Fayre is defo a GOOD one.

Lovely breakfast here on Wednesday. Buffet not being used today as not too busy, so order taken at the table and breakfast brought out from the kitchen, which I prefer. Full cooked breakfast with all the usual items, plus a really nice continental breakfast spread as an alternative option. Looked after by the lovely Mel, who checked back to make sure everything was ok and I had everything I needed. She was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed my experience here, a great way to start a busy day.

Went for breakfast, scrambled egg was a bit too runny. Other than that not bad to have breakfast here. Staff are lovely, work hard as they are constantly on the go

Visited this brewers fare on Sunday 7/7/24.Big mistake. Carvery is advertised as being from midday until 18:00hrs. Not so. Wifey and I arrived before 17:30 to find carvery area devoid of any food. Upon asking I was told they had ran out of meat so we would have to order from main menu. I ordered steak and ale pie chips and peas and the wife ordered the " crispy" haddock chips and peas. 45 mins wait and food arrived. Batter on haddock was as far from crispy as you can get. No bread + butter. Steak pie, well what can I say, 1 lousy little piece of steak. Good disgusting and cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired. Will not be returning. Waste of time and money.

Arrived at 1500, not that busy. Carvery on display but only small piece of beef. On ordering carvery was not available, on menu available till 1800. been too busy. May be the voucher, Of 40% off which we had , had something to do with this. No trio of pies either. Not over impressed, eating area bit dirty, will not come back.

The Kembery Inn brewers Fayre was a great experience the food was good standard. Also the service being to a good standard and the staff where welcoming as you walk in. The atmosphere was quiet and was quick service of food and was not to busy. With great parking and great prices this was even at when you expect at 12pm for it but i was surprised. Every week I come for coffee or breakfast before work and Nancy greets me like an old friend! The food is consistently brilliant, with great portion sizes. Service is good, and the Kembery has calm and welcoming atmosphere.. as well as being cool even on the warmest days!

It's ok, the food is not what I'd call exciting but it tastes ok. The service is flat but far from rude. Brewers fayre are hardly a premier restaurant but when you're paying hard earned cash a little bit of flair is not too much to ask.

Visited for Father’s Day, ordered food, and waited an abnormal amount of time and then the food had finally arrived. The nachos that we had ordered had just cheese and salsa on and arrived with the smallest amount of grated cheese and some cut up vegetables as salsa with no sauce. Some food arrived and others didn’t and we had to ask after waiting for an hour at this point, to only find out that the kitchen never received the order. The food had finally arrived only to be bland and not cooked the way it was requested. Staff were helpful and ensured they would give us free deserts which we decided to take up the offer. However, the cheesecake we had was disgusting. Will not be returning unfortunately.

Possibly one of the worst places I've ever been, the outside tables all had flooded ashtrays that smelt disgusting, the food was dreadful, the drinks were expensive, my first experience of a brewer's Fayre and definitely my last.

Not informed that Breakfast service finished @10:30 when paying for Breakfast on arrival. Which we discovered when we went to get some toast and pastries as they had all been cleared, as the service had finished.. The standard of cooked breakfast was appalling. The safe option would have been the wearing of safety glasses due to the bacon and hash browns being that well cremated. Definately a need for staff retraining with regards to Customer Service. 1st and last time in this Brewers Fayre 😡😡

Great breakfast . All you can eat children eat free , have to have an adult buy breakfast. Check with venue details. Other food avaliable during the day. Refill coffee and tea and soft drinks. Check prices before buying.

This place is friendly, Nancy is always helpful. Food is good. The walls could do with a tidy up were the chairs rub up against the walls.

Under staffed during bank holiday weekend. Staff overwhelmed during breakfast and the food slow to come out on the buffet. Food not readily available and long queues to get coffee and toast as there's only one machine.

Very busy, but staff did an excellent job of keeping the the self serve going. I personally told the person in charge to her face this. Well done under the pressure.

Food was a good selection, especially the dessert line. Good staff and good allergy awareness. The manager actually came to make sure I had the food that wouldn't make me ill. Came in again and they were really great with my nan. Gentleman came out to help carry her plate to her table and help with her order.

Stayed next door at Premier Inn so this was the food outlet for it. Food was good and well presented. Staff were both friendly and very helpful. Good choice for breakfast.

Lovely warm welcome and clean surroundings but tables and chairs are a little worn and wobbly. It became quite tiresome at the dinner table, making sure drinks didn't topple over. Refillable drinks, special deals on food and daily specials on the board. Sundays there is a carvery. I ordered the fajita burger and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Staff more than happy to let us eat our own birthday cake after our meal. Even provided a knife to cut it with. Toilets could of been cleaner given it was a very quiet Monday night, but nowhere is perfect I suppose. Overall I would come back. At least to try the carvery.

I was using this pub for 2 years, not anymore. I was there today after 2 pm. Food was overdried, fish taste like shoe. Staff wasnt too intrested. Long waiting time

Came here just for a night away. So had dinner and breakfast here. The evening atmosphere was very quiet and the service slow mypartner waited 50 minutes for our food to be delivered but apart from that the food was lovely. The pub was very quiet though not many customers at all. The breakfast atmosphere was very quiet also the lady who served us was lovely and again the food was great and we didn't have to rush or queue for anything.

Go here fairly often with my mum, fab all you can eat continental breakfast and fry up. Tea coffee and fruit juices included in the price. The girl serving has been there for a couple of years now and she is so friendly and helpful, kembrey definitely want to keep her on, she helps make it such a good experience.

Food taste okay but things were missing of order. There was a group of us some of us waited for 1.30hr for food and it wasn't busy. There was fight in restaurant police was called in front of little children.

We dined at the Kembury Inn on Sunday the 10th of March (Mother’s Day) and we were disappointed by the overall experience. We waited for over an hour for our food, we ordered at 17:49 (receipt showed the time) and the food arrived around 18:55/19:00. Majority of the food was mildly warm at best and in addition to that we had to go and ask for the children’s starters and desserts (children’s meal deal was ordered for two of the children) as they were forgotten. We appreciated that it was Mother’s Day and staff may have been off sick etc. but we were only notified of the long wait for food when we already paid and this is something more staff should be drafted in for. I do work in a customer facing job myself so I do fully understand the issues that can happen on the daily but this time, it felt unacceptable. The one positive thing that came out from the visit was the members of the family who had the carvery did enjoy it and said everything was warm and tasted good. Overall, a disappointing visit at best for the Kembury Inn and some sort of compensation for this would be much appreciated.

Amazing experience, lovely food, Nancy & Mel go above and beyond for customers. Every time i have visited the service is impeccable.

Very slow service, we waited just over 35mins for the main course and when we had finished I had to pester them to clear the plates ready for desert, to wait another 10mins before they were actually cleared. Desert arrived 10mins after that. Luckily we had refillable drinks and managed to get 4 rounds in in what was a very long meal....

Lovely breakfast, well cooked and presented ,good stock of all breakfast food to help yourself ,most dietary requirements are available

Went for the breakfast buffet. Had hardly any selection left and there was hairs in the mushrooms.

Plenty of parking outside, now I know why, it wasn't busy, we found a table and checked out the menu. We approached the bar with only one person serving and taking food orders, after a considerable wait we placed our orders and showed BL card and were told none of the main meals are covered by this although they advertise it. The wait for the meals was quite long although the waitress did apologise as for the food the fish and chips seemed like it was oven cooked not crispy, gammon was 5oz should have been 8oz and lasagna was small. Food was over very priced for quality to sum up we will not be returning.

Came here today for my husband’s birthday with family, was 12 of us. Good menu choices and good value for money. Can have refillable cold drinks and hot drinks! Service was a bit slow between starters and main but there was a lot of us so understandable. Food was hot and tasty! Some of us had desserts which were very nice. Staff were so friendly and they bought out the birthday cake whilst singing happy birthday. Will definitely visit here again.

Terrible service by the front of house staff member. We reserved a table, she told us we only had 30mins to eat our all you can eat breakfast because the table was reserved by someone else. Had to wait ten mins for so many items, sausages, eggs, tomato, yoghurts, croissants. So we had to wait for you! And when the time was up the place had many many empty tables with plates not cleared. There are so many nice friendly places to eat around Swindon I will be avoiding from now on. The food that did turn up was nice.

Our first impression when we were shown to our table was how dirty the floor was, this was at 1020 in the morning, so it obviously hadn’t been cleaned since the previous night. There was food debris underneath the table and around the floor. We were meeting friends for lunch so while we waited for them to arrive we had a pretty decent coffee from a machine. When they arrived we chose our food which was delivered fairly quickly. My meal was of average quality, I chose the beef pie with chips and peas. I was given a very small portion of peas and the chips were only lukewarm. The beef pie, had it been hot would have been very good. I declined a dessert but the ones our friends had looked ok. There is plenty of free parking and the loos were clean.

Felt sorry for staff doing the best they could with no staff food cold need to change the oil in fryer I guess mission impossible with no staff would not go for an evening meal again very disappointed food well over priced.

The service was a little slow (but they were busy) once served the young lady was very friendly and helpful. Food was average! Good enough I suppose.

On arrival the car park and outside of the building was in virtual darkness, almost looking like it was closed. Walking my 88 yr-old Mum across the car park with little light wasn't great. Once inside the service was quite good, but unfortunately the food wasn't. My Wife and Mum opted for Prawn Cocktail starters, which were pretty good, but my Breaded Garlic Mushrooms were over-cooked, tasting mostly of stale cooking oil, with soggy mushrooms inside. For mains my Steak and Ale Pie was OK, if a little uninspiring, but Mum and Wife went for the Festive Dinner, which was a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Whilst the turkey was OK, the rest was pretty dreadful. Roast potatoes were grey, cold and stale, and the veg was grey, cold and soggy. We suspected it had all spent some time under the carvery lamps, which was being cleared down as we arrived. We decided not to order desert. All in all not an experience we'll be repeating any time soon.

Another great breakfast at The Kembrey. Always a warm welcome from Nancy who makes a point to include my daughter in her greeting (making my daughter feel extra special). The food never fails to disappoint, is good value and the atmosphere is perfect. 10/10 to Nancy and Mel for not only keeping on top of things but for also ensuring that they are cheerful, approachable and happy to help with any requirements we may have during our visit. I cannot recommend this venue enough :)

personally i love going on a sunday afternoon roughly around 1 because that it when it comes out and in the morning breakfast is also really good you can go up as many times as you want and staff and mangers are friendly

This was our favourite place for breakfast. But things seem to have changed, got told of a 40min wait on food but not told its now a buffet. After the 40min wait then told about it being a buffet, the food came out with people waiting in line but not enough food for more than 4 people at a time. No black pidding ready, only fried eggs no poached or scrambled, I was apologising to the poeple behind me for taking the last of the beans and tomatoes. Plates were cold , so by the time you got to your table the food was cold. Very disappointed 😞 will not be coming back any time soon.

Very busy, chef sorting the carvery polite and helpful. We had elderly relatives with us so the staff were patient and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely tasty dinner. Good company and nicely seated with plenty of room. Thanks.

Was not busy. Food took over an hour to be served. Steak mealx2 mine and wife's cooked not to order. Offered sauces after accepting never had them. Watched out designated waitress walking around the pub/restraunt not looking busy as we felt neglected.

The food was so bad it was funny. My wife and I had the giggles when our food came out and we didn't have the heart to complain. The staff were friendly, I won't knock them but the food was terrible. Here's an example of the cheeseburger fries in a bowl about the size of one you might expect to get a dip in (menu pic for comparison) and the nachos which also came in a tiny tin 😂

The staff are friendly and accommodating, especially disability friendly, food is lovely but can be hit and miss depending how busy they are. Overall it's a great place to go.

Nearly empty yet verylong wait.

We wanted to go here for breakfast this morning, walked in and was greeted by the manager who didn't even say hello, she just asked if we had a reservation (we didn't) to which she replied "well I don't have enough staff for you" My fiancé questioned it as you don't need a lot of staff as they were serving a buffet breakfast, immediately after the manager did a huge sigh and said "OK fine." We decided not to eat here after this interaction as we found it disrespectful and rude. Clearly the manager needs to brush up on her people skills. Such a shame!

Worth a visit, meals for everyone on the menu, and at an affordable price to.
