The Wyvern Tavern in Swindon

Honestly. One of the best pubs in Swindon. Food was amazing sky sports everywhere I looked, the place is probably the cleanest place in Swindon tbf, although it was early afternoon the atmosphere was brilliant, I believe I was served by the manager as he was the one wearing a shirt unlike the uniform for the other members. (Scott I think was his name) it genuinely felt like being served by my best mate 😂.. wish evey pub was like this one.. we'll done team 👍👍

Great place to watch live sport, loads of screens, even private viewing booths you can book. Great atmosphere for the games. Burgers and a drink are a good deal too!

Amazing service 10/10 went above and beyond and to feel so welcome and at ease the food was really good had full English was stuffed and the cocktails were so tatesy and very moreish the staff went above and beyond even though it was busy they still made the effort to make sure we has everything that was needed will def be visiting again and will tell people about the amazing service we received

Very relaxed, plenty of screens. especially if you like football. Not too happy with the Xmas menu, things to eat but not my cup of tea. Gary is extremley helpful, always polite, very thorough in his role. Couldn't ask for a better Bar person.

Had a lovely afternoon with a friend here. Staff were all super friendly and helpful (let me try some of the ciders on draft). While we weren't there to watch it, there were plenty of screens to watch the rugby and a good atmosphere throughout. Food was nice and both that and the drinks were reasonably priced

Had a great afternoon drinking and dining with my friends. Had a lovely selection of small plates, delicious and great value. We drank lots of Prosecco and Sauvignon. Friendly staff and clean and pleasant surroundings.

It was nice to receive my tea in a tea pot and before it stewed. Our meals arrived quickly and very well presented. I had the scampi and chips with mushy peas. There were 10 pieces of scamp with crispy batter. The mushy peas were the nicest I had had lately. My husband chose the chicken pie and chips and we thought it nice that it was a "proper" pie with bottom too. He said it tasted very nice. A shame that we don't live in Swindon so won't be visiting again for a while.

Fantastic place for the sports, lots of TV screens, even a private booth with screens. Really good atmosphere. The service was great. Food hot and tasty and great range of ales well done

Dropped in for a drink, and then decided to order food as well. The bar staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Every time I ordered either drinks or food, the staff explained the best and most cost effective purchase. The food was excellent and the portions were good, When I asked where I could find a taxi rank, they ordered a cab for me. This is certainly a pub I would visit again the next time I am in Swindon.

Loved the amount of screens to watch the sport on! Burgers were great as were the wings. Great place to watch live sport!

Really good atmosphere, especially for a Friday afternoon. Lovely staff with an attentive, friendly manager. My husband is an ale drinker and really enjoys the ales in this pub. Definitely worthy of their good beer guide rating. Overall a very good town centre pub worthy of a visit.

Lots of tvs great for watching the big match. Ales are well kept and the beers they have on are fantastic too!

This has got to be the most friendliness welcoming pub I've ever been to the staff are fantastic and more like family. The food is delicious the charity events they do are just amazing. The atmosphere is electric ive had and still have the best nights out there than I've had anywhere. Its my favourite pub and the only pub I prefer going to. The management are the friendliness and most caring ive ever had the pleasure to meet. If I could give 10 star rating I would 👍👍
