The staff burnt my sandwich, so I was left with no lunch for the day as my break ran out while waiting

Strange hotel this. Located at the end of a long road which might have been remote and stunning years ago before you had to drive through a huge housing estate to get to it. It is a quiet place and the beer garden isn't a bad place to hang out. Rooms are quite basic and a little sparse. This place has a good reputation for food and its well earned. The food was amazing along with the service. Even the humble hotel staple of a Burger was probably one of the best I've had. I wouldn't stay here again but I would eat here again without hesitation.

This is our second visit to The Pound Inn. Its a wonderful place to stay, nr to our family. The breakfast are fantastic, all home cooked by Lea. Would recommend this pub to everyone. Hope to see you again in the New Year. Tom & Jenny Jones

Food was amazing ordered one of each for starters and where all great and then had there noodles after which where just as amazing. All the staff where amazing and very cheerful with smiles and making the experience great as they crack a couple jokes making it more fun. If your looking for a great place to eat, with great staff and food would 100% recommend eating here, you wouldn’t regret it.

Not the easiest place to get to but only a minute walk from several car parks. Diner seating layout. Good selection on the menu. I went for Chicken burger and chips (rice offered as an alternative) meal deal with a drink. Cooked while I waited so it was fresh before the drive home. Couldn't fault the burger and the chips were tasty and stayed crisp.

Really good food.. tried for the first time as never ordered from here before. I’m glad that I chose here!! Thank you 🙏🏻

Really good selection of beauties on display, all the way from a Model T to some modern classics and everything in-between! Fantastic Museum and will be returning!

OUR GROUP OF SIX WERE AT EAST LAMBROOK'S ROSE AND CROWN FOR SUNDAY LUNCH. ALL THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR CARVERY AND ASSORTED OTHER CHOICES FROM A TASTY, VARIED MENU. IT'S A DELIGHTFUL OLD INN, COMFORTABLE AND WELCOMING. WE BOOKED WELL AHEAD BY PHONE AND EMAIL FROM OVERSEAS, AND WERE GRATEFUL FOR THE PUB'S EFFORTS TO ASSIGN US A TABLE IN AS A QUIET A SPOT AS POSSIBLE, FOR THE SAKE OF CONVERSATION. EVERYTHING REALLY GOOD - THE FOOD, LOVELY SURROUNDINGS, PEOPLE, SERVICE,COMMUNICATION. THEY'RE CLEARLY POPULAR, SO PROBABLY GOOD TO BOOK EARLY.

It is hard to believe this cafe is rated so highly. The food was mediocre and the server and his mother create a depressing atmosphere. Plates were thrown down, the server was really unfriendly in general. Go to The Chapel instead for real food and decent service.

A proper English tea shop serving real tea and delicious snacks and cakes, topped off by being served by some beautiful stunning senior ladies, what a wonderful find in the heart of chard.

Used to love ordering from here because delivery was always on time or early. last two deliveries have taken over an hour and a half. Both times when I have phoned chasing (20 mins after the latest time quoted). I have been told that they have left with it and we're coming straight to me. Both times it has taken another 15+ minutes to arrive, although I live 5minutes from the shop. Neither of these was during rush hour. This order was placed at 18.40 on a Tuesday night. Arrived about 20.15.

The Sunday roast platter was, hands down, the best roast I’ve ever eaten. The whole family commented how good it was. Staff were very friendly, even suggesting local walks and pub/ restaurant is dog friendly.

Absolutely delicious calzone / pizza (Mezzoluna Diavola) . Real dough, fresh veg, good meat and cheese. I will return. Only didn't put an atmosphere rating because it was a take away option and they had just opened for the evening.

25 of my family booked this lovely pub for our annual Christmas get together on Sunday 17th November, as we chose halfway from all of us to meet up. Always a gamble when you book somewhere you not been before. Well, the Hunters Lodge Inn did not disappoint. It was really busy at 1:45pm, we had a whole section to ourselves, tables laid out, we put crackers on and had a corner for all our Secret Santa gifts. We asked for a rubbish bag so we could clean up afterwards. Jade was truly professional and a credit to the pub, she looked after us all. Service was amazing considering it was so busy. The food (carvery) was so tasty, hot, lots of it and served to you by a really lovely man. Everyone that worked here showed they really enjoy it. Car parking was fab and a lovely park for the kids. Thank you so much from us all and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025. Our new find 😃
