Ordered food at 18.40 food still hadn’t arrived 1 hr and half later phoned the restaurant to be told it was on the way 40 mins later the restaurant calls to tell me they missed my order so I won’t be receiving my food I would strongly recommend you don’t order from here

It's cheap and clean but the food isn't great. Staff at the counter were efficient but waiting staff were terrible. Food sat under hot lights for ages before being brought over. Fine if your desperate but I wasn't impressed.
Outstanding Service with a Smile – Zoe and Anabelle Make Every Visit Special!
Every Saturday morning, after my food shopping, my visit to Costa at Lifeboat Quay, Poole, is the highlight of my routine. Zoe and Anabelle are absolute stars—always greeting me with warm smiles and a friendly catch-up. Their service is second to none, and their attention to detail is incredible.
By the time I walk through the door, my coffee is already being made, which speaks volumes about their dedication and fantastic customer service. They truly make every visit a pleasure and are a real credit to the coffee shop. If you’re looking for great coffee served with genuine warmth and efficiency, this is the place to be!
We had Sunday lunch here today. It was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it. The roast potatoes are probably the best we’ve had in a pub Sunday lunch, tasted very home cooked and not at all processed. We enjoyed our puddings after, great choice and the 2 courses were only £13.95 incredible value. All served very quickly. Will definitely be visiting again and taking the family. Best tasting and value for money in Poole in my opinion.
Was quite sceptical after reading the derogatory reviews, but had no need to worry. Picked up two large haddock with chips at the time ordered. Quite delicious fish, one of the best I have eaten. Will definitely return.
We phoned an order in and it was ready and waiting by the time I arrived. the Chicken Balls were twice the normal size and the House Special Chop Suey was delicious..
Thank you Chopsticks House.
My wife and I have made it a cherished tradition to order Charlie’s Naga Chicken every Friday, and I can confidently say it’s the highlight of our week. This dish is a masterpiece of flavour—bold, perfectly spiced, and consistently delicious. I’ve traveled far and wide, tasted cuisines from across the globe, but nothing compares to the sheer satisfaction of Charlie’s Naga Chicken. It’s culinary perfection in every bite.
I’ve come across a few negative reviews online, and frankly, I find them baffling. In all the times we’ve ordered from Charlie’s Chicken, not once have we been disappointed. The food is always prepared with care, bursting with flavour, and served with exceptional quality. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place that understands food on a deeper level.
For anyone who hasn’t experienced Charlie’s Chicken yet, I urge you to check out their menu on their website and treat yourself. Trust me, once you try it, especially the Naga Chicken, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. Five stars simply don’t do it justice—it’s a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise. Charlie’s Chicken, thank you for making our Fridays so extraordinary!
Popped in for a quick lunch on day trip to Poole, as cafe looked very neat and tidy and menu appealing. Turned out to be a good choice. We had a toasted panini and cheese and onion quiche with salad. Both excellent. Efficient and friendly service. Sorry we did not have time to call later for one of the cakes! Great asset to the town.
This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society"
We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!!
Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.
I've been a regular customer to hortons over the years, but today's service was so bad I won't be using them again. I get a 45 minute lunch break.. 15 minutes of that was spent waiting to order because they had a family of 5 place an order before me and clearly couldn't cope with a group order. After finally ordering, 5 minutes goes by before I'm told they can't do my food so I said no problem I'll just have the milkshake then that I had ordered... another 15 minutes goes by and I still don't have my milkshake. At this point I have 10minutes left of my lunch break, so I proceeded to walk out and and quickly ordered some food from premier bites opposite. I never did get my milkshake from hortons or able to get a refund as no one was attending the till even after I had ordered and collected a hot panini from Premier bites... Hortons has gone down hill ever since the kids took over. On the other hand I can recommend premier bites opposite. Lots of love the RJ lift engineer.
Ordered food waited delivery time was expected to be an hour. 1.5 hours later, still no food. No food turned up at all. When we tried to call, nobody answered the phone. Absolutely shockingly unprofessional! Can’t comment on quality of food as my order never arrived....
