All staff could do with going on a customer service course. Rude. Unless you ask for extra hot coffee, it's barely warm. They shout at you to use the kiosk, some people like to speak to a human.
Sorry but the food is dire:Sweet and sour chicken swimming in piles of gloop with only a few chicken pieces. Shredded smoked chicken so sweet the it was inedible. Won't go there again
Have been to this cafe before. Great place on beach front. Dogs are allowed inside. Friendly service. A little expensive for a baked potato but was very good. Will definitely return.
Went with family for half a day out, was supposed to get some fish n chips on the beach, I'm not even sure on the menu of this place but as soon as I saw CARD ONLY that was it for me. What's wrong with cash? Or did you get offered money to go card only from a certain card company. £10k wasn't it, alledgely. Anyway, regardless, I'm advising to use establishments that accept GBP in the form of coins and notes. People dont forget!!
Went on a Thursday, around 5pm. Despite not online booking, and the restaurant having reduced capacity due to the virus, happy to squeeze us in. Quick, friendly service, drinks arrived really quickly, and food shortly afterwards.
Quality was good - food tasty, hot and well presented. Portions seemed generous.
We really enjoyed the four main courses we ordered, ribs, meatballs, prawn pasta and chicken carbonara
Would visit again.
I arrived in a wheelchair and needed to use the toilet one of the managers there helped me through the pub amongst other people as I was really busy. Opened the door for me and when I came out he served me at the bar then I went to order some food. When the food was ready it got brought over to my table for me with a drink also. Thank you very much

Never ordering again. The last time we placed an order, which was several years ago, the delivery was so late and the staff were rude so we said ‘never again’. But we decided to give them another chance - what a mistake that was!
The app’s tracker for a start, doesn’t work. So we called about 40mins after ordering to get an ETA and were told “5-6mins max”. 25 minutes later, we called again . Initially we were told they had tracked the driver and he was at traffic lights nearby so should be a matter of minutes. But when pushed for reassurance he then said his system was down. After being on hold for a few minutes he came back and said they didn’t even have our order! Despite the payment going through they said they couldn’t even cancel our order because the system was down so we now have to go through the laborious task of doing a chargeback on our credit card! Never ever again. Save yourself the hassle and just stick with Dominos!!!
After not having a meal at Pizza Hut since being a young child, me and my friend thought that this would be an interesting option to revisit as the Taco Bell opposite was completely crammed. Immediately upon entering, I had a feeling not so dissimilar to what I felt when walking through the aisles of Wilko shortly before their nationwide closures - the place feels like it's days away from closing. The staff seemed less than pleased to be there, giving off most of the signs of being improperly trained and managed. After waiting for only a couple of minutes, one of the waitresses took us over to our table. The table itself seemed clean enough and being given physical menus was a nice touch. However, there wasn't any kind of instruction from our server on how to place an order - I'm assuming that it must be possible somehow to order without using the QR codes placed on the tables but it certainly wasn't made obvious to us. The pricing on the menu was incredibly expensive and frankly quite bold considering that you could spend the same money at the Pizza Express directly opposite and get full, smiling service and higher quality food for your money. I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that there was also a suggested tip section - for minimal service? I believe wholeheartedly in tipping generously when it's been earned, however asking for a tip before giving any service makes little sense to me. Alas, we placed our order - coming to almost £50 for a More for Me deal and a Margherita. The food took around 20 minutes - and so did the drink. One of the waitresses in the restaurant approached us with an empty glass a mere 20 seconds before the food came out - apologizing insincerely that the ticket had apparently not come through. Having worked in hospitality for a few years now I'm assuming that was most likely a lie - she probably just forgot - but everybody makes mistakes, and telling a customer that you forgot something doesn't always go down well if the customer is short-fused. fair enough. The food looked alright at first glance and the first couple of bites were fine, unfortunately I then noticed a hair in my Pizza but I wasn't entirely confident that anyone working would care enough and just left that slice to one side. I then decided that i needed a drink, so walked up to the counter and asked for one. The lady behind the bar didn't even ask me what kind of drink I'd like, just handed me a glass for the soft drink dispenser. I asked if i needed to pay for this, to which she said it was fine. Thanks! I'm happy to report that the Pepsi Max was top notch. We didn't end up waiting around for the dessert we'd ordered in the meal deal so cannot comment on this.
Disappointed with choice of hot food for lunch on a chilly cold December . Rolls etc so cold in chiller - soups as usual, so modern unappealing to older people like ourselves. Tasteless beigel , tasteless coffees and the cakes not very exciting. Will not return - will make sure we eat before we get there. Very disappointing.
My wife and I were invited out to lunch at the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole yesterday. The main restaurant was closed so we three seated ourselves in the outside snack bar area. There was not a great choice but the food was said to be Italian and run by Italians, and having been to that country expected to be served a good standard of food. This was absolutely not the case. We ordered two box salads - one chicken and chorizo and the other a smoked salmon nicoise, and also a pizza. The two salad boxes were about 150mm square and contained mostly lettuce and tomato - the lady who had the chicken said the chicken pieces were so small she could hardly see them. I had the pizza, and because I was hungry I did try to eat it - but had to leave about half. I would compare it to an inferior supermarkey pizza. I have had pizzas in Naples at a quarter the price and they have been far superior. Added to the food were a J2o orange, a 250ml glass of wine and one beer. The total cost £62.00! We left still hungry and went to an Italian restaurant in Westbourne a couple of hours later, and for about the same price we had seafood risotto, sirloin steak and sea bass in a champagne sauce along with the same drinks. It does not take an expert in Maths to work out who is giving value for money! A complaint was made at the time, and to be fair both the kitchen and the hotel manager offered a refund - which was declined, as the point of the complaint was not to get money back but to highlight what was thought to be an unacceptable situation. The place looks lovely with great views over the beach and sea, but it is an "eatery" not a viewing platform. We obviously would never lunch there again - but we all felt that they are serving inferior food at inflated prices. It is a shame as it denegrates the overall reputation of this Hotel. If you charge top prices you should serve top quality food.
If I could leave 0 stars I would.
Absolutely appalling service with a great deal of organisation regarding serving the walk in customers. Their focus is upon the deliveroo drivers! ..which were in abundance walking in and out..leading to frustrating walk in customers!
We ordered 1 x family sized bucket, and 45 minutes later, we were still waiting, so had observed the chaotic way the staff were dealing with the orders. We were told not once, but twice our order was being done, only to be informed 5 minutes later it wasn't ready.
After 45 minutes, we wanted our money back, and eat elsewhere. Getting a refund was a further 15 minutes!
Seriously wish we had read the reviews before popping in. Whilst they focus on the deliveroo -I would avoid this place at all costs!
They do Vegan and non vegan food, the staff are very helpful and considerate, I had Lasagna with vegetables and garlic bread all for £5.95 the portion was generous and very tasty, would recommend, shame we found the place on our last day in Poole!
