Visited here 3 times and Great Service and food, Most of All it was nice to sit outside with no Smoking, that was front of pub not sure about round back,Why don't more Pubs ban that awful habbit so people can enjoy a meal and drinks smoke Free. Well done Spoons, will definitely come here again when in Broadstone 👍

the blackwater stream is an amazing vibe. the staff here can’t do enough for you. the manager dan is exceptional and jordan too. they are an asset to your company. just such amazing service throughout

We visited this pub today with the kids and our friends. The staff are really lovely and friendly and the food came out quickly. They are raising money for charity and had a cake they were offering for a donation. Since mine and my friends daughter had just got their ears pierced I got the cake and the staff gave us plates, knife and napkins so we could enjoy it at the table after our lunch. Really enjoyed our visit and I hope the staff know that being friendly really does get noticed by customers.

I am a regular so know what to expect and know Wetherspoons is never fine dining! However the food last night was AWFUL. Well what they had left anyway, most dishes sold out. Had the hot and spicy chicken- no chips as they’d run out- the chicken was a really weird soggy 2 lumps- couldn’t even tell you what part it was but was brown and literally fell apart as you touched it- not in a good way. Rice was still shaped like the microwaveable pouch it came out. Lots of families actually left in view there were no burgers or anything for the kids. Been like this now last few weeks I’ve been in. Really poor now in view all the menu has considerably gone up in price and portions have shrunk.

Great staff.. Very friendly and always happy... And great service. Only had few ciders and some chips. But was all good..

Wanted my favourite pizza but sold out. So went for fish and chips also sold out. Cannot understand why 4 miles up the road at wetherspoons in Wimborne have all on the menu.

hi the food was great. however, one waitress i think the manager, was incredibly rude and confrontational. all the other staff were lovely i feel bad for the people around her as she is letting them down hugely i believe her name was becca and it was a lovely night apart from that rude waitress

Food was great, Service of one particular woman was appalling. I’m guessing the manager? glasses, hair up, arm splint, recording us???? Confronting, argumentative and rude to be honest. A whole meal and drinks forgotten and wrong, when asked we get told well why were we drinking it?? instead of a sorry maybe? A nasty piece of work.

We go to spoons very often and this was the best I’ve been to in ages.the service was really good and the food was absolutely lovely will be going again in the week while we are visiting the area

Visit was completely spoiled by parking scam. There are no signs that are obvious so you assume its a pub carpark. I can't afford to pay so they send threatening letters. Very upsetting and won't go again out of principle. People go to Wetherspoons because they're poor so having parking charges and a scam company to deal with is just wrong.

We are regular visitors to this pub and other Wetherspoons pubs, due to its value for money and generally good quality food and considering g the volume I’d customers well mannered and polite staff. The one problem that keeps occurring is the use of the APP. iIt often shows fish and chips as unavailable, when it is still being served and still available to order at the bar. It’s happened a few times on recent visits and twice the meal was unavailable on the App and at the bar. When I asked why yesterday I was eventually told that the fish was in stick but had not been defrosted! This is a shame because, otherwise I still think the chain is good value for money. Let down by its App and they odd admin failure

Went this afternoon to see the improvements to the new outside seating area and garden, very nice ! Pleasant outside and fairly busy, unfortunately within 20 minutes it was inundated with cyclists who left their bikes chained to the benches, propped up in the hedges and left lying on the new astroturf. What a bunch of w.anchors !

Very busy, noisy. Unfortunately children making quite a din. One meal (ham, egg and chips) was fine, but the cod and chips.... Well, the chips were good, but the fish, inedible. The batter was so crisp and the fish, when you managed to get to it - was dried out. Disappointing. But the staff were working really well, doing a very good job.

I had low expectations but received great service and food and drinks. Amazing value. This is a well run Wetherspoons with well trained friendly and efficient staff. Tables were cleared quickly, not long to wait at the bar and food order came out quickly too. I felt a bit daunted taking my elderly mum inside given it was a busy Friday evening but it was absolutely fine. The bill for 6 meals and drinks was £69! Can’t beat that!

I use the App but had issues as payment went through but Order did not - So I ended up paying twice!! That said the food and service was good. Location is away from the Centre of Poole.

First time eating here, a busy Saturday afternoon but was served fairly quickly, we had haloumi burger, pizza chips.. all food was cooked well and hot, chips were particularly good, staff very professional, surroundings were clean,,lively happy atmosphere.. will be coming back

As a regular to this place for breakfast with friends, noticed over the last few visits that food came out very quickly from ordering and that each passing week food was getting colder. We did report this to staff a couple of times . On our visit today , from ordering t9 delivery of breakfast was about 4 mims. The food was cold not even luke warm, one of the group had eggs Benedict, the ham was hard and burnt round the edge, but cold and the eggs were almost raw, the holondaise sauce was just a solid blob and cold. I had a small"breakfast, the sausage and bacon was luke warm and the beAns cold. This time we called over the bar lady , she took the eggs benedict away and again within a few moments returned with a fresh breakfast although this was warmer it was still not satisfactory. T8me to find a new place for breakfast . Also have had poor lunch here

Good pub but made me laugh we were sat outside 2 hours before some muppet said can you put a shirt on no other staff asked me to lol a jobsworth I think lol

It was 25 degrees and i had a top and shorts on and they were disrespectful and rude about what i was wearing. They were talking behind our backs and just straight up nasty. Not friendly at all and made me very uncomfortable and it isn’t the first time we have felt this way.

Is there a new manager? We go to this pub about three times a month, and have done for many years and although my husband loves the beers, the service generally has been average at best, demonstrating a general lack of interest/training. The cleanliness also has been mediocre - not enough to complain about but rather lacklustre. Today we visited, and what a difference! Pretty hanging baskets outside, clean, tidy tables inside, a shiny bar - no grubby bar towels, spirits arranged tidily and serving staff actually looking as if they were happy providing an efficient service. Long may it continue.

Myself and my walking friends came here for lunch during a walk in the area. There were 14 of us and the public house had been happy to reserve us a table. The staff member behind the bar was pleasant and polite taking our individual orders and payments. The meals came fairly quickly and were good value for money. It was very busy throughout the time we were there. Well done to all the staff.

On the way home after a business meeting I was too tired to cook so we called this pub for dinner at around 7pm.We wondered if we would get a table as it was mid December but we found a table and went to the bar to order.There was a a Christmas turkey meal but as I went to order the staff let me know that there was only one left so I ordered it and a ham egg and chips. With drinks the total bill was only £14 which is excellent value.The food came quickly and it was hot and tasty. Very happy with the meals and service. Also the Ruddles ale was very good.Toilets are upstairs and were clean and tidy.Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic service from A lady with red hair behind the bar ( unfortunately don’t know her name) however after sitting at table 29 and have already eaten, the bar lady then came over with 3 drinks however the drinks were not ordered by us so must have been Mias ordered on the weatherspoons app. When the lady bought the drinks over and said three amaretto And cokes my entire table said no sorry not for us, jokingly I said but they can be as you do have a laugh and a drink. 5 minutes later the lady came back with the three drinks and said well no one has claimed them and there’s no point in throwing them down the drain so you may have them. ( seeing as though we had already spent almost £50) I couldn’t see that being a problem. However once we began drinking them a very very very rude Emma came along and started accusing us of claiming the drinks even though they weren’t ours and demanding that we payed for the drinks, we then continued to explain we had not claimed them and they were given to us however this did not stop her being extremely rude and saying we must pay for them and we have wrongly claimed drinks !! Continuing to repeat you have to pay and demanding money from us !! Eventually the lady who gave us the drinks said she would pay for them !! This is bang out of order after all the drinks would have only been thrown away instead of being given to customers who have already spent a considerable amount. !!!! How is there staff working in customer service based restaurant who are so rude, ignorant and disgraceful to the business ! After this me and my partner spoke to Emma quietly to ask why she was so rude and all she continued to do was be sarcastic rude and state how she has to side with her colleagues ! I am very disappointed with that side of the service however very grateful for the bar lady and the other staff that cooked the dinner it was lovely. I hope this gives everyone a warning about “Emma” and this issue can be resolved. Many thanks to everyone else in weather spoons because other than that I can’t fault it !

On visiting this establishment today 13/12/19 I found the upholstery within the seating booth (table 7) covered in moulding food ( of which I had noticed a week earlier) and smelling, on looking around I notice most of the upholstery to the seating was in a similar condition. I also ventured here in the evening after wanting to have a walk out and decided to have a coffee, on standing outside I saw one client peeing up the planter outside the front door and two others peeing in the bushes. This is becoming a massive disgrace to Broastone.

Had a good meal here while waiting for the christmas parade to start. Was very busy so was a bit worried we might not get served in time for the parade. However the staff were lovely,the service speedy and the tinsel toes was delicious. Put me in a good mood for the parade that was also great.

Been here lots , usually good , Thurs / curry night , mine came out STONE cold, I was really angry about this as last Saturday , ate in RANCHO'S on Poole Quay, had BAD stomach ALL day Sunday, Other than that , good night , lovely Doome bar, as always.

This is the second time we’ve been here & the first time was good & it didn’t disappoint this time either , good food & great service , the STAFF are a Real Credit to the pub , nice atmosphere family friendly pub .

Visited recently with family and have to say that everyone enjoyed their meal. It’s good food value for a great price, nothing posh, highbrow, fancy and frilly, but good eating. They have fabulous selection of brews to wash it all down again at great value for money prices! Enjoyed my BBQ chicken melt, also thumbs up for the Empire burger and bangers chips and beans.

This used to be a really good spoons. However recently the quality of the food has dropped considerably. Today the lunch was poor and when sent back it returned pretty much the same.Will have to go to Wimborne instead.

It's the best Spoons I have eaten in to be honest. Always great food and fast, good service. Great atmosphere too.

Went in for breakfast at 10.15, we had to clear a table that had used plates and cups on, table was sticky and dirty but I had some Wetwipes in my bag. Breakfasts came and was not at all appetizing,most of it was cold, eggs were missing half of the egg white and it looked like it had been thrown on the plate. I have visited here a few times and it is always disappointing. Wetherspoons in wimborne Man in the wall pub is much Better.

Went there for breakfast this morning and there were 6 of us in the group. It was very busy in there as it usually is at breakfast time. Unfortunately there were lots of tables that had dirty plates and cups still on them including the one we sat at. We asked a lady working there if we could get our table wiped as it was all sticky and she said she would but didn’t come back. We ordered our food and one of the people in our group swapped a couple of items and added extra toast. When the breakfast was brought to our table we were then told they had no toast or bread which I think we should have been informed of when I ordered the breakfast. The girl then told us the closest thing they could offer was a muffin so we said ok as we needed something. 5 minutes later and still no muffins and the girl was bringing other people’s breakfasts out to them. I went over and asked where the muffins were, she then brought out 2 small muffins and I queried if that was all we got between 3 of us. She then brought another one out. Not very good considering we should have had 6 slices of toast. What’s even more frustrating is that right next door to the pub is an M&S; food shop and next to that is a Tesco express both of which were open, they should have sent someone in there to buy some bread or at least tell people that they didn’t have any when ordering their food. Not impressed!

We were staying nearby in a B&B; for a couple of nights and this Wetherspoons was recommended to us on the Thursday night for dinner.

Having reviewed this place previously, you do get what you pay for! Bar service tends to be soooooooo slow! Once ordered, the food service is quick - microwave cooking usually is quick, right? I’m now reducing my rating as dogs are no longer welcome in the garden! Large sign but no explanation.

I ordered using the Wetherspoons app, and my meal was served in less than ten minutes.

Stopped here on the way back from Kimmeridge bay to Boscombe for lunch. Ordered through the app. Order of fish and chips did not come with mushy peas as requested but soon changed. Server was heavy handed on giving my dad the plate ended up with chips sliding off on to the table! More care needs to be taken. Overall food ok, Tuna panini a little more well done than some others I have had. Seats looking tired, covering all torn. Not one of the best Wetherspoons I’ve been to. Pay and display car park at the back.

Where do I begin a pillar in the bar divides it into two. another man and I were waiting for a drink 4 people went to the other side staff walked by us and said "be with you in a minute " then carried on severing the other side not coming back till we complained and all 4 of the other people were served..after this my wife and I decided to order from the app 1 pint of Guinness and 3 small plates we waited and we waited and we waited my wife wife had finished her drink so we ordered a glass of white wine on the app guess what we waited and we waited and we waited so enough is enough I eventually got served and cancelled the orders my money has left PayPal but still no money paid BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT.. my wife for her 1st drink had a white wine and soda GUESS what they served it in yes a PINT GLASS shocking unbelievable will never step foot back in there againavoid like the plague awfu il cant let people know how bad it is there

My wife and I stopped at this weatherspoons pub for lunch and was very disappointing I had steak pudding and chips the pudding was dry and hard gravy lukewarm my wife had a pasta dish wish looked like it had been put in a microwave on high very dry and burn on edges .inside the pub was very tatty and had a strange smell I wouldn’t recommend

There were quite a few of us who went for a catch up the other night and we all ordered in different ways, some ordered using the app while others ordered at the bar. The 3 meals that were ordered using the app, one was incorrect. The lady wanted salad and she was given chips, she sent it back and it returned with a salad. The food was ok, you get what you pay for. The toilets are upstairs as a couple of our party found out.

Decided on trying the steak night offer. Service was prompt but the steak was average....fair bit of fat and rather thin. It wasn't awful but I won't go again. The setting looks old and tired but very popular....few empty tables...but that's the Weatherspoon offers and cheap beer.

So I've been going to the Blackwater stream for a number of years; It's a decent little place ideal for dropping in and grabbing something for lunch or going out with the family.

Decent range of drinks at incredibly low prices. Not tried the food but the drinks are fantastic value. Shame the place is so mind numbingly dull.

There are far less visitors than there were last year, especially over the winter months Perhaps this may be due Wetherspoons views on Brexit or due to the table service option always promoted which I can understand if you are ordering a meal (or buying drinks if your not in the pub yourself) but just using it for drinks when you are a few feet from the bar seems a bit odd . Table Service drink orders take away at least one member of the bar staff so it takes longer to get a drink if you are "traditional" and actually go to the bar to order. Not everyone likes "on-line" . Benefit of less guests, means that it is now often easier to get a space in the car park rather than have to park in the village car park next door. Pub car park however is very poorly lit, and there are large black bollards just outside the car park door which its very hard to see when exiting the pub. The far end of the car park also seems to be often unlit at night. Inside the management seem to be constantly shifting the table layout which always results in tables being very close to the emergency exit by the TV screen. It is quite common for people to sit totally blocking the exit - sometimes in heavy chairs as well. Staff are aware but no action seems to be taken. The disabled toilet, when it has been unlocked is used by all and sundry with no thought for disabled guests, and the emergency exit by the toilet, despite having two separate signs that it must only be opened in an emergency is constantly in use and simply left open, especially by smokers or by those who come and go to the main street. The management has changed over recent months and the current management seem to take even less interest in safety of guests than previously. Looking at the pub's décor I cant help wonder if this is another Wetherspoons destined for the chop, especially with the safety issues. Would not take my family there for a meal due to pubs safety attitude. Food and drink are cheap compared with other chains.

Came for a breakfast this morning at 11.45. Ordered via the app, breakfast came out within 20 mins, all was fine until a mouthy bunch of wannabes came in and sat directly behind us. F’ing and going, shouting about how he ‘smashed someone’s head in last night’ and was showing off about ‘breaking someone’s jaw’. Not once did anyone come over and say for them to tone down their language or even better leave! Plenty of young children in there listening to this. All underage and drinking, the eyebrows on the girls were just horrendous and deffo provided entertainment for customers if anything! Will not be returning, ever!!

Busy, crowded Saturday night with no room to sit and eat after 7pm. But if you want cheap beer and don’t mind the clientele then it’s fine. Not gourmet food and the bar staff were rushed off their feet so you had to wait a while. The place is tatty and has that beer stained smell about it with the usual crowd of smokers near the door on the way out. But you get what’s on the tin.

Nice pub. Might have to wait awhile for your food as doesn’t seem to have enough staff. Food is very responsible and service is good, once you get served. Could do with a good clean but again not enough staff.

All the tables have been moved around presumably to add more. You cannot now take a direct route to the bar, the toilets or indeed the fire exits when the pub is busy. If a fire alarm was to be activated I can't see how everyone would be able to get out safely.

Okay, let's be clear, when you go to a Wetherspoon pub you know pretty much what to expect; well priced or cheap food and drink. On that front this place doesn't disappoint. The front of house staff are great, it's just the inside of the pub that is quite unpleasant. Wetherspoon do have a liking for dark wood and dim lighting and as this place has a fairly low ceiling I found it a pretty unpleasant place to sit. The table I was at had a slightly sticky feel and had the crumbs and other waste from previous occupants. To be fair the place was packed with lunch time diners and the few staff were clearly rushed off their feet. In my opinion, the ONLY reason to go here or indeed any Wetherspoon is the low price. If only they'd invest in proper deep cleaning and a 21st century designer but until then it's probably better to seek out an independent local pub and spend just a little bit more.

Great locals pub. Does get a bit busy at the bar, not always enough staff, but that can happen anywhere. My only real gripe is the ladies toilets. They never seem to flush away the contents in the bowl, they overflow with toilet tissue. It's been an issue for ages, and it really is time something is done about it. I'd rather leave early than use the facilities!

Went for breakfast with friends upon entering pub looked like it needed a good clean from the night before.

Been in here many times , food usually good, 3 others had scampi which they all agreed was good , but i decided to go for the Mushroom risotto + chicken , well , i had to pour half a pint of my lovely ale into it just too get a bit of moisture near it, dry , & awful. The good quality ales made up for it though, i will be back soon , but not for a risotto.

Because it's convenient for the office, we have been having a Friday breakfast meeting here for about 18 months (5-6 persons), but in that time I have seen the standard go down rapidly, apart from the apparent indifference of most of the staff, the portions have been getting smaller and smaller. A portion of beans with beans on toast, barely covers a piece of toast no matter how artfully they try to spread them around to try to make it look bigger, I mean really, beans are dirt cheap, why be so stingy? Yesterday I ordered the smashed avocado and bacon on a muffin. Seriously, the portions were so small it wouldn't have even qualified as a Childs meal, I could have eaten the whole thing in one bite. Even the eggs are tiny, they look like pigeons eggs. We will take our business elsewhere from now on.

Try the steaks, cooked perfectly, good service at a reasonable cost. Last minute decision. Certainly not disappointed

I took my daughter out for a bite to eat after school and we both enjoyed the food. It was cheap and served quickly. The usual Wetherspoons fayre.

Just because no Monday Club and no Abbot ale! Otherwise, clean and tidy, nice garden. First ‘Spoons’ I’ve visited that was actually built as a pub, and as recently as 1979. Needs an injection of enthusiasm to make it special and give it some character. Nothing wrong, just nothing right!

As a regular user of this pub it has been very noticeable that there have been a drop in standards of late. Table clearing and cleaning is very slow, some of the staff look like they only serve you because they’ve got to not because they want to. Having visited 3 different Wetherspoon establishments in Devon recently it shows that The Blackwater stream is in need of a good kick in the pants with some upgrading of cleanliness,furniture and atmosphere. Broadstone is a thriving place come on Wetherspoons don’t let us down.

We thought this Weatherspoons was the worst we've ever used.

Been having the odd Breakfast here for the last few years. On the whole it is one of the better weatherspoons, but the standards have been slipping. My last breakfast came out with bacon I swear winked at me, even after asking for it to be cooked for longer. Then I was missing the eggs, 15 minutes after reporting it I had to remind the waiter, then a short wait and a couple of fried eggs appeared. Bingo I thought....

As with all Weatherspoon Pubs, this one offers good value food and drinks with a different "special menu" including a drink each evening ie Tuesdays is steak night, Wednesdays is chicken night, Thursdays is curry night and so on.....

Stopping off at a B and B in Broadstone we were needing a pub to have something to eat after a stressful 7 and a half hour drive. At the end of the Main Street we spotted the Blackwater Stream with lots of people outside enjoying the heat and drinks. We then noticed it was a Wetherspoon pub, a brand we don’t use, but are aware of as we have a very popular one in our own town. First impressions was how full it was inside and out, it was also dark and extremely hot inside despite the doors being left open. There were quite a few tables that needed cleaning and clearing but the staff were obviously working full out. We decided on the curry meal option which included a curry and a drink and was reasonably priced. Service for drinks was slow but the meals were there within minutes. My curry bowl was full to the brim and my lamb was lovely whilst my partners chicken dish was about half full and the chicken was hard to cut in places. However, the meals were tasty, rice, popaddoms and Nan breads well cooked and for the price, couldn’t be faulted. We decided to have a drink outside afterwards but finding a table without an overflowing, off putting ashtray was difficult. We’re not anti smoking but again if the staff could keep on top of this it would have improved our impression personally.

We went for breakfast here last weekend and thought it was fab! Not only was there a good selection, it’s was so cheap and yummy too. Hot drinks are refillable and we even sat out in the sunshine. Couldn’t fault it!

Four of us visited Weatherspoons in Broadstone to try there curry night. Well before half of us had finished paying, the first curry arrived and in 5 minute intervals each persons food arrived. One of the curry's had a very small portion of rice. We asked the lady who delivered the 3rd curry if we could have a little bit more rice.... She stated that they come in pre-portioned packets and if we wanted more would have to pay for more rice... Before muttering an insult under her breath and walked off. Not the best experience and wont be visiting for curry again!!!

We visit this pub nearly every Saturday lunchtime because my husband likes the beer. Over the last year the service has fluctuated from acceptable to dire, but one thing that never changes is the ladies toilets never flush properly. Surely it's worth the time and expense to get these sorted?

Been here many many times regularly in the evenings for meals and drinks and like any pub, the Blackwater Stream has pros and cons. Tonight we went for a meal -quite busy as Friday is one of their busier nights. Only spare table was near the kitchen entrance /exit next to a family who were had a young girl and a baby. The family allowed the child to run around near their table unsupervised and on several occasions, staff comming out of the kitchen nearly collided with her -an accident waiting to happen. Yet neither parents nor staff did anything to prevent a possible accident. Later in the evening after our meal, (after 9pm) I went to the bar to order more drinks -still busy , and found that a young child was actually sat at the bar on one of the high stools accompanied by two ladies. I had to manoeuvre around her to get to the bar. I see nothing wrong with children in pubs, but surely they need to be under control, especially where staff are carrying hot food, and having young children sat at the actual bar at 9.15pm on a busy Friday evening isnt on. Call me old fashioned if you like.

Easy access and parking makes this an ideal venue to enjoy breakfast BUT it's getting harder and harder for me to enjoy eating here. Firstly, the table that has to be cleaned with Brasso is a no-goer, leaving black marks on fingers (hate to think what would happen if a child put their fingers in their mouths). Matt needs to put a smile on his face! Very disappointed

Decided to pop down to our local Weatherspoons for a quick and economical meal after a long, hot journey home. The environment was unkempt, the glasses were dirty and the cutlery had dried food on the forks. We did complain and had our drinks poured into fresh glasses and were given clean cutlery. Needless to say although the food was okay, we did not enjoy our visit at all. We won't be returning.

Lots of choice ordered the grilled chicken burger and a coffee. Then got handed a cup to go and pour my own coffee from end of the bar area. Good sized portion. Although as with most weatherspoons locally .. very dark and low lighting. I prefer a light airy decor when I'm eating.

been in here loads of times always busy , always good selection of ales on offer , & the food is always quick & hot ,i had the fish friday offer , nice portion of very hot fish & chips , lovely pint of FRESH real ale for under £ 8 , thats cheaper than going to the supermarket , buying a bottle of ale & getting a fish & chip from the take away ! can't be bad . will return again soon.

Right. I ordered a hot chocolate.. and it’s not a normal hot chocolate. They give you a stick with chocolate at the end. And the instructions are in German? And I poured hot water in there when “apparently” it was supposed to be milk. Then you swirl the chocolate around. And it was just unnecessary.

I came here with my mum and brother for a birthday breakfast and it was very pleasant and enjoyable. We had the traditional breakfast and large veggie breakfast, as well as extra rounds of toast, between us and it was delicious.

Awful service, table still had left over evening plates with lamb steak and jacket potato (which obviously you wouldnt have for breakfast so the tables hadnt been cleaned since the night before). The tables were then cleaned about 10 minutes after we had already sat down. I ordered porridge and my friend had an English breakfast. There was an animal looking hair in her hash brown and shell in her egg. I sent my porridge back because it was milky and looked like it hadnt actually been cooked or even remotely warmed up, and when I got the replacement I ended up not eating it because it was even worse. We thought we'd try this whetherspoons because we are always at the lord wimborne in poole and we certainly wont be coming back.

Just walked out for a second time. Two bar staff. Busy bar and both staff not acknowledging the patrons while moaning about the patrons. I say avoid and go to the Goods Yard as we are walking there as I write this with our friends.

Came here for breakfast with my son as I have been here before for an evening meal. The food was good, the staff are always very pleasant and it is good value for money. However, I’m not saying that this is the case, but I sometimes think it is not very clean. Maybe it is the the carpet or tables looking tired and worn but it could do with a really good upgrade. Lighten the walls, create a fresher feel and I think it would look less drab.

Called into this pub for lunch. Being Friday it was extremely busy but we found a table for two. You have to order at the bar and give your table number. They also had a specials menu at the bar which was steak or curry,...

Eat here regularly, and have to say have never waited more than 15 mins for food. It’s the generic spoons menu offering hearty food at a cheap price- works well as have never seen the place empty!!! Sometimes need more staff to serve on bar and clear dirty plates, wipe tables etc but will continue to use every week
