Went on a Thursday, around 5pm. Despite not online booking, and the restaurant having reduced capacity due to the virus, happy to squeeze us in. Quick, friendly service, drinks arrived really quickly, and food shortly afterwards. Quality was good - food tasty, hot and well presented. Portions seemed generous. We really enjoyed the four main courses we ordered, ribs, meatballs, prawn pasta and chicken carbonara Would visit again.

My husband and I visited today at 5pm,we where seated quickly as the place wasn't busy.we waited 10 minutes to have our order taken which was two coffees and two straight up waffles.it took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and 35 minutes for the waffle to come.whilst the coffees were ok,the waffles were cold and excessively chewy.there was 3 pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a tiny bowl which only covered one section of waffle and a small jug of syrup.we were really disappointed .actually I should of complained as I felt angry about paying for it. Oh and whilst we were waiting I was watching the chef slam a plate down and slap the paper order on top of the food and it was left there for 8 minutes before a waitress took the order away. We've been to frankie and benny's many a times and always been pleased but this time very disappointed.

We arrived at about 3 pm, it was very quiet, but every table was dirty and had not been cleared. The service was very slow. The staff were chatting to each other and not working. Good job the food was good and our waitress was good. It'll be a very long time before we go there again.

Thank you so much to Tom and the team at Frankie and Bennys in Poole for making my daughter’s 10th birthday so special. She came for a meal with a group of friends last weekend and they all had a great time. The staff were so helpful, the food was lovely and Tom couldn’t do enough for them. Thank you so much, we will definitely return!

We went to Tower Park yesterday and stopped by Frankie and Benny’s after a film. We were served by Tom and was honestly some of the best customer service we had ever had, made the evening!

You should definitely visit this place if you like; 1. Sloooooow service 2. Lack of common sense from the staff who seated 7 of us (3 adults, x2 6yr olds, a 3yr old and a baby) at a table set for 4 people despite many other bigger tables available 3. Sitting beneath the coldest air vents 4. Disinterested staff 5. Teeny portions 6. Baby food served volcanic, though thankfully the chilly air vent above us turned it cold very quickly. Just a dreadful evening really, though shouldn’t be surprised, I’ve yet to visit a decent Frankie and Benny’s, if such a thing exists. Oh, also, my friend asked the waitress if she could organise a Happy Birthday song for one of our 6yr olds (the sole reason why we are out tonight and apparently the reason why F&Bs were the chosen caterer). Luckily we hadn’t told the 6yr old as it was supposed to be a surprise, however it was the adults who were left surprised after the waitress bought over the dessert, plonked it down in front of the birthday girl and just walked away. Useless.

I'm surprised this place was as busy as it was. Visited here for a Sun morning breakfast. No meet AND greet at door. Overpriced hot drinks. A small tea cup sized latte at the cost of the old large mug. And not a nice one at that. Ordered the fry up first on list. After quite a wait food turned up. Missing the mushrooms, only told about this when complained that they had none. Ok. Goes to eat the "grilled" tomato. Stone cold salad tomato. I bring this to the attention of the waitress/Manager. Basically insinuates I'm lying and the chef has put on the grill but not for long enough. Reluctantly offers a fresh tomato. Told it'd be replaced but nothing. Toast stone cold and awful. Oh and no apologies from the server/ manager at all through all this. First rule of customer service. The customer is always right.Very poor customer service. Would definitely not return to this awful place. Would rather do the drive thru at McDonald's.

I went into Frankie and Bennys today with my partner and friends. The food was exceptional and the service was even better. Tom was extremely kind, caring and considerate. My friend is vegan and he accommodated her needs amazingly and helped her understand the menu and recommend a meal based on what she likes and doesn’t like. Outstanding member of staff!

Visited by my wife and I, ordered a pint of peroni and a glass of house wine, waiter came back sorry no Peroni and no house wine so alternative drinks were ordered.Both the wife and I ordered mushroom starters waitress came back sorry no mushrooms so alternative starters were ordered.For main course I asked if they had the lamb shank the waitress said yes so I ordered a Lamb shank to be told later that they had run out of lamb shank. So an alternative main course meal was ordered. They ought to call the restaurant the Alternative meal and drink restaurant. Despite all of the above the alternative meals and drink were nice and the staff very nice and apologetic, I doubt very much that we will be visiting this restaurant again.

We went to frankie and bennies on Wednesday night. On arrival we walked into the restaurant and waited and waited and waited at the desk. No one came to seat us! How disappointing. We were stood with two other couples. Not a single member of staff acknowledged us. There was no 'will be with you shortly' all three couples ignored. Unsurprisingly we didn't wait any longer and decided to go somewhere else. Really awful customer service. In fact NO customer service. Not a good impression. All three couples left. Appalling - please sort it out.

Popped in on the way past, needing something for lunch, and was treated like royalty! Service was prompt, smiling, and Tom worked hard to ensure all the customers had a good time. Food was great, well prepared, good value, and very tasty. Well done!

Food was Super good like normal but I have to say... Hannah our waitress was amazing! So kind and funny and genuinely one of the best waitresses me and my boyfriend have ever had in any restaurant, My partners drink hadn't been brought over at one point and we wasn’t going to say anything but she came over and noticed and sorted it straight away without us saying a word! She also had a great sense of humour!!! Great food! Top service! Top waitress!

Headed here to celebrate my partners bday. Sat down and drinks order taken. Only a few tables were in at the time. Drinks and food came out reasonably quickly. After we had finished our meals it took well over 30 mins to have the plates cleared (possibly 10 tables in at this time; which shouldn’t be a problem) We noticed that both kitchen staff were having their break at the same time strangely, and the service staff were in the kitchen. Finally we had the table cleared before we could ask for the kids puddings which were part of a meal deal. If it hadn’t have been for this, we would have paid and left. The upside of the tale is that the kind gent offered a discount because he could see we had been sat for so long and clearly looked displeased. Staff either need retraining or manager needs to give them a kick and get them moving a little more swiftly.

There was eight of us, the service was rude and the food took an hour to get to us (the restaraunt was not even half full). When we first entered we were given the menu and the restaraunt had barely anything that was on the menu in the restaurant. When we finally got the food and the drinks, one of the drinks were wrong and three of them weren't even offered glasses to drink out of. When we got the food, the pizza's were heavily coated in flour and mostly burnt. The burgers ordered were also burnt along with the new York chicken and the steak that was ordered. Most of the fries were cold upon arrival also. And we ordered two garlic breads which came once everyone had finished eating along with cheese on top of them that we hadn't ordered and hadn't wanted. Not to mention the toliets were out of service and we had to ask if we wanted anything, no check-ups, no actual service just waiters that walked past with their heads down ignoring the tables that were waiting to be served.It didn't seem to just be us either as a family next to us had a similar experience, the only thing that they had got given that they actually asked for was a balloon.

Order taken, repeated back, then wrong food brought out. Pizza inedible as it was burnt bread ( like cardboard) with no fillings/flavour, fries not cooked, vegetarian order served with meat, mac and cheese inedible, (can get better at a supermarket freezer counter). Some ordered items like garlic bread did not arrive at all. Staff unconcerned, service shambolic, could not believe they are still trading!! They were turning people away and restaurant half empty ( lucky escape!!) Will never return or recommend if they don't improve they deserve to go out of business.

We have been here many times and generally it’s been good, if it’s middle of the week and quiet. However don’t bother if it’s a weekend or run up to Christmas etc or bank holiday. It was our granddaughters 1st birthday & a table was booked 3 weeks prior. We arrived to be told we would have to wait at least an hour! They said this was due to staff shortages (this has been the same excuses for last 3 visits). We were told they were expecting a table of 20 so we would have to wait, we were a party of 8. We complained that we couldn’t expect a baby of one to wait that long! & why hadn’t they called us before? It was 4.30pm on a Sunday & the restaurant was a third full. Anyway we telephoned other restaurants in the area & went to TGI Friday’s across the road who were fabulous!

After 40 minutes of waiting, we got a dry, hard pizza, sliced reheated? How can you serve something like this in a restaurant ??

I came here for breakfast with family on the weekend and were really disappointed. The service was painfully slow despite the restaurant being almost empty, there were several issues with our order (not having the right ingredients/bringing out the wrong thing), but the worst part was the chef shouting and swearing at other staff members within earshot of the customers. Not something I really wanted my kids to hear and I felt bad for the next table over as their children were even younger. This place really needs to sort it's act out - I can't imagine they get any repeat business!

After a long day Christmas Shopping, the wife and I wanted to try Frankie and Benny’s as neither of us had been for years. Early evening so not too busy which suited us well.

Me and my boyfriend bought a deal on groupon which was just over £20 for a meal for two for this restaurant, we got all the way there and they said they don’t do the voucher and refused to take it, so please don’t buy any vouchers for this restaurant as we also got refused a refund. We have emailed and have had no reply, really gutted that what I thought to be friendly restaurant would comfortably take peoples money:(

Heating broken so very cold this am. An offer of a free hot drink to warm us up would have been nice but no such thoughtfulness! Very slow service despite few customers. Waitress great but manager not very helpful or customer centred.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely meal. Served by a waiter called Tom, he was hilarious and made our night (very normal) and to top off our night the food was delicious!! We will definitely be returning soon.. big thanks to Tom and the rest of the team!! X

In general a little lacklustre, but on the whole okay. Staff were trying very hard to satisfy our needs. Tom was very personable and nice. Was very cold in there so wear a thick jumper as it would seem the aircon is stuck on low.....

1 star is to many. Everything is awful. Service is ridiculously slow. Food isn’t much better and took a lifetime for them to give us the bill and to take our payment. Drinks came out after we finished our food.This is all while the place is basically empty as people obviously know to stay away from the place. Would be baffled if they ever have repeat purchases.

My husband and I had been suggesting to take his parents here a few years. We used to go to the one at castle point before it closed. This was dreadful. We booked and when we arrived they said there was about 45 minute wait on food. Fine. Drinks took ages to come. And then we had to ask for the missing ones. Food was over an hour but took about 5-10 minutes for all 5 of our dishes to be delivered, all one at a timeThe pasta dishes were rubbish. The pizza and ribs were good. Then came the 45 minutes to get the bill right. We would normally just cast our eyes over to make sure it sounds about right but glad we thought it wasn’t right.There was so many mistakes.charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass. Charged extra for a salad that came with meal. Didn’t give us bogof with meerkat meals correctly. A burger was charged more than the menu said.Felt sorry for the waitress until this point but there was no urgency to get this right or anytime quick. Embarrassed that we were telling the family it was good and suggested coming.

First impression was who were the staff and who were the guests. Staff were dressed in regular clothes, there was no uniform. We ordered pasta dishes and felt disappointed by the food served. Granted the service was spot on but the quality of food is standard at best.

Only 3 other people in the restaurant and it was a 50 minute wait for less than average food. Such a pity as always had great memories of F&B.; I think it’s time they closed there doors and made way for people that care. RIP F

Service was friendly. Place was clean. Starter arrived after I had finished my coffee, mushrooms in cheese sauce, nice. Main course, (classic meatballs), took some time to arrive and sauce was a bit runny. Took a while to get my bill. Expensive for what I had and slow. There was a chef and one waiter, but the place was hardly hopping

Went for a meal with my granddaughter and her boyfriend but wished I had not bothered. I was surprised when we entered the place because it was quite empty - only about 6 tables being used - and usually you have a job to find a seat. Had our order for drinks taken but did not receive them until about 15 minutes later. Eventually the waitress came and took our order for food. FIFTY minutes later, and I am not lying, the meal arrived. To say the food was not up to the usual F.&B.; is an under statement. While we were waiting for our meal we saw at least three groups of diners get up and leave the restaurant because they were either unhappy with their food or had waited too long. I myself saw three plates of food on the counter waiting to be taken to diners and they were there for nearly fifteen minutes!! We eventually received our food about 45 minutes after placing the order.!!! We ate it but did not really enjoy it. My family and I love dining at F. & B.'s but this was not to their usual standard. If it had been my first visit to their establishment I would not go to one of their restaurants agin. This particular establishment is doing Frankie & Benny's no good what so ever.

Went for a meal with the family and it was the most horrid place. Service was absolutely shocking! Frankie and Benny’s are my most favourite place to eat out. After this meal I will not be going back. This one in tower park had the worst service. From what I could count. There were only 7 tables occupied. At least 3 or 4 tables left without paying. Getting told after they had ordered that they have ran out of certain foods. £15 for a burger that was not hot at all. Total coming to £70. That price wouldn’t bother me so much if it was a nice meal but this was not. I am appalled with the state of the place. Only minimal staff trying to run a whole restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone!

Came here with my family (3 of us) on a Saturday evening. Was a little busy but most people left by the time we were seated. Ordered our food and waited and waited. Saw people come in and go before us. Expected they would have been a bit quicker as we had a little boy with us. Even saw some member of staff sitting with the guests.

Staff seemed attentive at first. As soon as our meals arrived there was a noticeable difference in meal Size. My husbands meal was tiny! And for the best part of £20 per meal I’d expect better.

So the burgers and chips are over priced for the portion of the meal - the balck and blue burger is tiny and lacking filling but tasty. The chicken and ribs was huge and very good. Waiting 30 minutes now roughly for a child’s sundae and a cheesecake! The staff arent chasing anything up with the kitchen staff unless customers ask them. Theres only about 9 tables being occupied. One couple left because their order never got processed after 30 minutes of waiting and another table was unhappy with all their waiting. Sort out your short staff. Get new cooks too.

As a family we often visit Frankie and Benny's. It can be hit and miss but my mum likes the vegan options so we take the rough with the smooth. However this visit was honestly appalling. We were sat quickly and the server was polite and attentive. Drinks came quickly. The starter came out. The nightmare now begins. dough balls were so hard that they were like golf balls. The chicken wings were dry and had a very strange taste which the lashings of BBQ sauce failed to disguise. We hoped the main would be better. We waited, and waited, and waited. Over an hour after we finished our starters the main came out. Unfortunately none of the meals were worth the wait. In fact the meatballs were cold and looked like dog food. We dared not order pudding as we wanted to be home at some time before midnight!! £85 for 3 ppl 2 courses, I'd rather have been mugged to be honest. Saying that I pretty much was. DO NOT WASTE YOURE MONEY!!!

Recently visited for dinner and had a lovely meal and service was polite and friendly. Staff were able to tend to our needs and very understanding of dietary requirements

We returned to F&Bs; after 2 previous disapointing meals to give them a final try. For starters we had garlic pizza bread and Mozzarella sticks. The Moz sticks were nice however the garlic bread was very bland, lacking topping garlic taste.

4 of us went there last Friday evening. Very poor service. Complete mess up of main courses. Asked to speak to manager to sort it out but he had gone home. Tried to speak to supervisor but she was busy cutting up a birthday cake and Ignored us knowing that we weren’t happy. Eventually spoke to a waitress to whom we explained about the various issues we were having. Told her we weren’t going to wait any longer to speak to the supervisor and we were leaving. Offered to give her our contact details and she said don’t worry about it and would not charge us for any of the meal! Worst experience we’ve had in years!!!

Went for my daughters birthday got a table had drinks order taken waited around 20-30 minutes for that food order taken waited nearly an hour starters wich clearly got forgotten then when they finally arrived mine was not right and all luke warm then mains came out again luke warm as they had been cooked before the starters ordered side order and that didnt turn up either fare play to the manager as he had been told of our issues he gave us free deserts and then took my meal and starter of our bill and a discount although the evening was not what i had hoped they did there bestto sort it out

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Our waitress Carolina was very helpful and my friends who were visiting from USA loved it too.

Booked a table and was warned it would be busy as we arrived. After 30 minutes waiting with no sign of a server, we walked out. The table behind us arrived 20 minutes after we did but had their order taken within 5 minutes of sitting down. Really, really poor!

After waiting 10 minutes finally someone came to take our drinks order... 3.79 for a can of coke which we had to open ourselves? The rice in the risotto was hard not cooked properly, four prawns? Wow expensive. The plates were all cold except the lasagne which after sitting under a flash grill wasn't. The only thing that came quickly was the bill at the end. I wouldn't recommend this place. In fact, I don't know how they are still in business. My opinion, one to avoid.

After hearing someone walked out after waiting an hour for garlic bread not a good start, short staffed tables not cleaned and food Luke warm and not tasty to stay the least, used the taste card which at least meant didn’t pay full price. Very poor all round.

Booked a table at 6.30, was seated on time. Hannah was brilliant but completely let down by slow food and drinks. Place was not busy but it still took 2 hours for our meal. Wont go again.

Popped in on Saturday lunchtime, we thought we would have a bottle of wine and some snacks and sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. We stood at the bar and waited to be served, or at least acknowledged.. The girl behind the bar completely ignored us, so we waited. We asked for the wine list which she gave us and then we waited.......and waited.......and waited.......and waited. At no point did she speak to us, it wasn't as if the place was busy , I counted5 tables sat. After more waiting we decided to leave and never return, which is a shame because years ago this was a great place to go but now the staff are rude and need a lesson in customer relations, at least acknowledged customers when they come into your business.

Family of eight went on a Groupon deal for our twin granddaughters' birthday on the 21st Aug expecting a good meal after playing bowls. The restaurant had been informed at the time of booking that it was a birthday celebration and to decorate the table with balloons. When we got there, there was no decorated table. We waited ages for placing an order for the drinks. It took ages before the drinks arrived. Then again a long wait before the meal orders were taken followed by another lengthy wait before starters arrived. Yes you readers must have guessed whats coming next- another long wait before the main courses were served. The meals were mostly unpalatable- burgers were greasy. Half a rack of ribs was ordered for one of the party- what came was a measly portion of four ribs which looked more like a quarter of a rack of ribs. Asked the waiter several times if this was indeed half a rack of ribs- he kept saying he'll find out, but we never got an answer for that. OK, we thought things would improve for those who had ordered the desserts- but we waited and waited and waited again for the desserts to arrive- but still no sign of the desserts. We had already been in the restaurant for almost 2 and three quarters of an hour. The children were by this time tired and feeling quite miserable. So we finally decided to leave without the desserts. Well needless to say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. Some of us actually left the restaurant hungry. A ruined birthday celebration, poor quality food and abysmal service. All in all this is one place I would never step into again and certainly would not recommend it to family and friends. Shame on you Frankie and Benny's at Poole Tower Park for ruining what should have been a happy birthday celebration.

We arrived at 5.15pm took 30 mins to receive drinks !!!!! Got told no beer on draft and no starters available!!!! Which was very disappointing as my nephew had a groupon for two courses . Food took 15 minutes to get to us but my nephews steak was cold he ordered it rare however a rare steak shouldn’t be freezing cold , the chef said when we explained that it’s rare and a steak should be cold if it’s rare we sent it back and had it cooked more it came back warm and rare (see picture!!) . We then had no time to have desserts as they took 30 minutes to speak to a member of staff!!!!!! We had a escape room to go too so had no time !!!! This was just awful !!!!!! The waitress however was helpful .

Arrived just after half past 5 and waited a few minutes to be seated. Then waited another 15 mins for our drinks order and then waited another 10 for the drinks to arrive and then waited and then further 10 mins for our food order to be taken. The food came in a quick time, but unfortunately the pizza were under cooked. Then we can waited yet again for about half an hour for our plates to be cleared and bill to be given. But there was a hardly any staff around. Where we went to the bar where to members of staff were just talking and asked to pay our bill. Whilst we were waiting many people came in and were not served so left and they were turning people away. Very disappointing visit, will not be coming back!!!!

Arrived just after 5:30pm, waited a few minutes to be seated, waited about 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken, waited another 10 for drinks to arrive, another 15/20 minutes to take food order, food arrived quickly but was disappointing, dry chips and undercooked pizza. Waited nearly 30 minutes after we’d finished for a food bill, nobody came so paid at the bar as we had a film to get to. There was a maximum of around 10 tables occupied when we arrived and about 7 members of staff through restaurant and kitchen. Very disappointed. Will not be returning nor recommending.

I tried to book a table and order ahead but I must have made a mistake on the app. Despite this, the staff, particularly the manager, were outstanding and could not do enough to sort us out. Once the order was set our server was attentive and delightful, engaging warmly with our daughter. Food was tasty, but the staff really shone. I'd have no reservation about going again.

Visited today staff very polite, our waitress hannah couldn't do enough for us service was good yes u do wait for food but everything is cooked fresh so didn't mind waiting food was excellent very lovely evenings good music to listen too would definitely recommend.

Just visited this evening for an early dinner around 4:45. Thought we’d timed it right before the teatime rush as only around 3 tables full on arrival. Wrong!! Got served quick initially then the young guy served others. Only ordered a main. Waited ages then on looking at the pass saw that there were 3 plates sat there and they continued to sit there for another 5 minutes. A different waiter then brought them over! Food was warm enough and as we were so hungry we made do. No one asked if our meal was ok throughout.

Me and my partner had bought a voucher on grouping which was £20. Once we bought it we redeemed it and went to the restaurant in tower park. The waiter wasn’t very welcoming and neither were the waitresses but the young man serving my drinks at the bar was so lovely!sat down to order food and they refused our voucher and said we can’t use it but wouldn’t give us a reason and wouldn’t give our money back, even though we could prove that we had spent £20 online and that money was going to the restaurant. We decided to order food anyway as everyone else was fully booked and we order a macaroni cheese spaghetti meatballs and a 15inch pizza. The spaghetti meatballs were nice but we recieved a watery ‘no cheese macaroni cheese’ and a 11inch pizza. We asked why we had been given two different meals to what we ordered and the waitress said they had run out of 15inch pizzas and didn’t respond to the macaroni cheese. We ate half of it and asked for the bill and we had been charged for a 15inch pizza. I asked for it to be changed and the waitress wasn’t very happy about it! Been there before this and it was lovely so very dissapointing

we came in took about 5 mins to be greeted and sat down at a table when it was quiet. the service was shocking he had to ask for orders to be taken. the wait on drinks was ridiculous. the wait between the starter and the main was to long! for hardly any tables in there! the starter was ok. main was horrible i had a burger and chips and onion rings, partner had chilli hot dog. couldn’t eat all as just full of greece. definitely not worth £51 in total. Extortionate prices for low quality food ! very disappointed never will i return

Starters were quite nice, prawns and southern fried chicken. Mains not so great 2x burgers, patties very similar to McDonald's. Cocktails (pornstar martini) horrendous. Had to go to the bar twice to chase up our drinks and then brought them to the table ourselves. The manager did spot this though and made a deduction from our bill which was nice. Would probably try again but not in a hurry.

Went here to celebrate the end of our second semester. My 3 girlfriends looooved the food and I couldn’t have had anymore purple rain cocktails, delicious! We had a great time. Jamie the manager was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll be back!

we havnt been for a while, the place hasn't changed but the menu seemed a lot smaller,which was better,still plenty of choice. Our lunch was lovely and hot and the mocktail was very good!

We have visited a few Frankie & Benie's usually for Dinner, we had Lunch on this occassion, the food was delidicous and piping hot. The restaurant had a nice ambiance! I'm not one for reviews, however we had an excellent waiter Dawayne (Derwaine), really great service with a smile, very efficent and helpful! We will visit this again!

Came here tonight for a meal after the cinema, the food was nice and a good price when you use a meerkat 2 for 1. Our server was Sean, he was really funny and efficient too. Unfortunately there was a woman on a table near us complaining loudly and getting quite aggressive to the staff, although we couldn’t work out what was wrong with her really, seemed very over the top but people are weird! But just wanted to say that the staff and the manager dealt with her well and seemed to sort her out and it didn’t negatively effect our experience at all. We will defiantly be back :)

We had a lovely time at the restaurant after a day trip in Poole. Great service and the staff are helpful and efficient. Would highly recommend this branch.

Went to Frankie and Bennys for date night as had been 6 months since we went out alone. It took over 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive but the restaurant was only half full. The mushroom brushetta looked like someone had vomited on the plate but was actually very nice but it was downhill from there. The main, chicken parmagiana was extremely bland, even when putting a lot of pepper on and the chicken was very tough. The chocolate and raspberry lava cake was dry and the combination did not work. We have chocolate and rapberry dessert for our wedding meal so know its a good mix normally but this was disappointing. We also had to ask for more drinks, rather than being asked. The music was very loud too so felt we were shouting at eachother. Save to say will not be going back to Frankie and Bennys again.

Spent a lovely Valentine’s Day evening with my wife at Frankie and Bennys in Poole. We had a warm welcome and was shown to our table. We decided to have our food from the. Valentine’s menu and I must say the food was really good. The server was new and made us feel very special. All in all I would recommend this place for an American experience.

I wanted to review my experience specifically because of how good the service from our waiter Curtis was. The food was good value for the price too.

Table of 3 adults and a 5 year old. Our server Curtis was very attentive and friendly. Food is good value for money, it's what you would expect for the price your paying for it. Good choice for a vegan too.

3 of us ate there on Friday evening 8th February. Arrived 6.15pm Waitress took order for dough balls and three meals after about 30 minutes.. Dough balls eventually arrived followed 15 minutes later by drinks. Then waited over an hour for mains. 1 pizza 1 pasta , bruscetta and olives. Bruscetta was cold. Partly toasted bread with a few bits of chopped tomato and peppers on top. It was tasteless and olives looked and tasted old. Kids ate pasta and pizza because they were so hungry but it wasnt good. Waitress did give one child a free coke as wed been waiting so long. Im not blaming the waiting staff but the organisation. We will Never go to a Frankie & Bennys again,

15 mins wait for drinks to arrive after being ordered. 35 mins for our starter plates to be cleared. we were then asked if we wanted the bill and we hadnt even had our mains. it appears our order had been forgotten. food bland. steak at over 17 quid was tasteless, 2 sad looking onion rings and old looking mushrooms. the parmingana was dry and tasteless chicken with luke warm pasta supposedly in a tomato sauce and a few chips. staff walked passed empty starter plates so many times . young blond haired male waiter was pleasant but all in all it was a big disappointment

Came here weds night with kids. Great choice for them and us. Great service...think by the duty manager. Nice atmosphere music not too loud and other nice groups of tables in. Thanks for a nice family evening. We'll be back

We went out for a nice meal, well expected to... Instead we get served cold starters, to which the waitress said there was a new chef, (not her fault) then the mains come out.... Chips were cold, the burger had hard and crunchy bits init(not edible crunchy stuff) chillie loaded fries were like my dog had served one up on my plate, also there was one waitress and waiter was acting like they was playing kiss chase however its like they knew the food was terrible as they was asking ironic questions without me telling them anything. Also no knives and forks were given out untill we asked them about 3 times and also waiting around.

Visited on a business trip with 7 colleagues. The service we received from Curtis during our meal was excellent - nothing was to much trouble. A real asset to the team.

We always choose this Frankie and Bennys because we have a particular sever we like. No matter how busy she is we always get treated so well. It’s always a disappointment when she isn’t in. I actually took her name this time, Steph, as I always forget when I go to write the review! She’s always really patient with my children and speaks to them

We have been coming to this Frankie and Bennys on quite a few occasions over last 12 months and up till the last time have found it enjoyable, but our recent visit was not good at all. We had to wait for the drinks to arrive at least 20mins in the end we went and got them ourselves! Strange thing was it wasn't even busy but the lack of staff made it impossible for the waitress to keep up with orders I presume. The food was very average with small portions and dry chips. Will give this place a miss as there are plenty of other restaurants at tower park. PITY REALLY AS IT WAS A PLACE WE LOOKED FORWARD TO GOING TO.

Table prebooked, but one had to be found for us. After a 15 minute wait for the server our drinks order was taken, then the food order. It was then we were told no pizzas available of any sort. It would have been nice to have been told this on arrival as we would have left then. No pizzas in an Italian restaurant. Amazing. Will not be rushing back.

My cousin and I came in with our children for breakfast here. Our waiter, Dwaine was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. It looked as if he was the only person working but it didn’t seem to phase him and it didn’t affect the service we received.

Visited on Friday for a meal for two. I booked 5 days before but when we arrived they had not booking, they looked & said they might be able to squeeze us in (place was only a third full). Drinks came quickly, starter was too long to wait, fish cakes were tasteless balls, calamari wasn’t much better. Definitely not worth over £7 each starter.

Came to visit with my brother and partner yesterday evening. Was actually a really nice evening. I've read a few good and bad reviews on here but have to say it was very nice, our waitresses Hannah was a very lovely lady who was very attentive to all our needs. Hope to return in the near future and fingers crossed she is our waitress again.

Came here this morning 26/01/19 for breakfast with my friends and had a young lad called Curtis serve us. Probably the best service we've ever had by anyone in any restaurant. Was so on ball with everything. Made the visit very enjoyable so thank you very much:) food was beaut as well

As a family we come here at least once a month and until lAst week have been consistently impressed. However the last 2 visits both in January have been nothing but awful. They have ran out of steak and ribs they have nothing left that a vegan can have on the pudding menu (really shocking seeing as this is one of the reasons we chose to come so my partner can go somewhere and actually be able to eat a pudding) the homemade lemonade was lemon squash in a tall glass. The mains came out before the starters and one starter and side never arrived. The chef looked like he was doing the bare minimum and just throwing crap out the kitchen with no pride whatsoever in the quality of the food. I think it would have been more pleasurable being mugged of the £56 on the way in and not going through the experience if eating here!! Won't be visiting again. Time to find a new regular eating hole!

visited three times in 3 months, first occasion no issues , second visit very quiet , no customer service during meal to see if we needed anything or if the food was okay or even extra drinks , food was waiting ready no staff to deliver it to tables , complaints being issued around us, we did complain and were reimbursed by a very nice manager ? we presume for our disappointment and wait.

Where do I start 2 visits both very disappointing but we decided to give the benefit of the doubt after the first visit booked a table for two no cutlery no napkins very poor service we had two courses waited 40 minutes for a drink and to take our order food arrived cold and congealed due to being sat on the counter under the heat lamps every time I tried to get staffs attention we was ignored had to go to the manager twice to ask for service crazy place no cproper customer service even with the woucher coupon it was not worth going 2 1/2 hours for two courses start to finish

Went in for a late lunch expecting the usual F&B; service and quality. Would usually go to the Castle Point restaurant however for some reason that was closed down.... i think they closed the wrong branch!

Really nice meal , great service & reasonably priced , can get a bit noisy with lots of kids if on school holidays .

Was pleased to be served hot food that was freshly cooked. Staff were all very professional & customer service was very good. Would definitely use again.

We were served by Shana-Marie, who was absolutely amazing at providing us with what we needed for our meal. We got a rare evening off together, and Shana-Marie made it great! Fast service, bringing us our drinks and food quickly, asking if we were okay and getting whatever we needed.

Family catch ups are always troublesome for us, mum is very hard to please, even 'The Ivy' in London would struggle!

The food we ordered wasn’t the food we received. Our side orders were all mixed up. We were not given cutlery or condiments. We were told we would be given a discount but we weren’t. We won’t be visiting again.

Came for date night and weren't impressed. Ordered a cream soda which was vile, tasted like gross fake vanilla(probably too much put in) and I had the spaghetti and meatballs which weren't very nice, like microwaved....bleh. Then to top it all off I found a hair in my spaghetti towards the end of my meal!!! Didn't finish it off let's just say that...not coming back.

Booked a table for 4 for 4pm on Saturday. Arrived 5 mins early but had to wait in bar until table cleared - even though only 5 tables occupied in whole restaurant?! No bar staff to get drink. Finally seated and we waited and waited.. considering empty restaurant and 4 staff we decided after 20 mins of being ignored to do our first ever walk out :-(

Went in this evening for a meal. Food was good and came quickly. The waitress Shona was very friendly and welcoming. Not sure what the other staff were doing though. Nethertheless we shall come back agai

Visited here in October with six children after the cinema and then again in November for a birthday. Both times had the same waitress Gina, and she was brilliant. Very bubbly, fun and helpful, and was brilliant with the children. (She sounded like she was from Australia or New Zealand). The second time they were short-staffed so the poor girl was running around all over the place, but she took it in her stride and was very attentive to everyone. The food was very good and tasty. Decent portions too. Really enjoyed our visits, but have to say it was the excellent service from Gina that made the experience such fun. Would go back.

Enjoyed the food but the service was very slow despite only 3 or 4 other tables being occupied. There only seemed to be one waitress working, with other staff otherwise occupying themselves, although she was very good. Enjoyed the breakfast ciabatta - very filling.

My wife, son and me went here this morning for breakfast. Excellent food, attentive and reasonably priced also if you finish your plate you can have a free refill OF FOOD! we diddnt take them up on this though... too full

Best breakfast and best service for miles. Our first choice food stop for any Tower Park day out. Thank goodness for Stephenie.
