Pi-pizza in Poole

We sat outside on a warm summer's evening and enjoyed a delicious pizza. I had the lamb, pickle and yoghurt pizza, an unusual but delicious creation, my daughter had a margerita pizza. Both were perfect. The service was excellent and the waitress was friendly and welcoming.

3 Days in Poole , second day we decided to try Pi Pizza. It was busy when we arrived which we took as a good sign. The waitress soon arrived & took our order, drinks arrived shortly after & after about 20 minutes noticed that the outside seating area was quite empty now thinking that our food would arrive soon. Quickly started getting annoyed when people arrived after us but had received their food. We checked with the staff & were told it would be out shortly. After 1 hr we were told it was due imminently. We enjoyed our bottle of wine but after 1 hr 15 min we informed the staff to cancel our order & I asked to speak with the manager, only for the waitress to come back out & said just take the wine, which we had (practically drunk by then) & go. No apologies or anything. By then it was 21:00 & too late to find anywhere else to eat. VERY POOR SERVICE. Huge disappointment for what was a great 3 days in Poole.

Pop in for coffee and cake ( flat white poor quality- it was black coffee with milk) - plenty of seats, quick service, tasty tiramisu, good interior-overall positive experience but barista need more practice.

Stopped for a light bite lunch! So had a 2 person platter. Expected a little more than we received and had to eat cheese and biscuits as soon as we got home.

Fantastic pizza, cocktails and beers. Service really good as well. Will definite be back, great sitting inside or outside.

I just left the restaurant less than 5 min ago, and I could not wait to write this review! This place is absolutely amazing, we didn’t had a reservation just walked in, and were received with the most warm and friendly welcome. Food is to die for, the lamb pizza was our favourite, but all the other dishes we had were just as good! All the ingredients were fresh, and even the bread felt like it was just baked today. There’s the option of having half the pizza with different toppings which for me and my partner was perfect we can never agree on a topping. You cannot be in Poole and not stop by. Sorry there are no pictures but we just devoured it all!

Place looks really great at side of the quay and that’s as far as it goes. The first member of staff appeared she didn’t want to be there at all. Ordered pizza for two and very bland that it needed a lot pepper and chilli oil. The pizza that was left I didn’t even bother to ask for box to takeaway as just tasteless. After ordering no staff around and had to go inside to pay for the bill. Place is very popular and the location is great and can see why it gets a lot of customers.

The food and service was perfect. Charlotte was so friendly and kind and really made us feel so welcome! Lovely place for family!

Stunning pizza and sea view,the head pizza chef is incredible.!! Hardworker and super focused on his job. all the ingredients are always very fresh! We've been served by a a very professional manager and a nice waitress Pauline always smiling and attentive to details. Amazing experience

I visited the pi pizza restaurant with my partner and it was by bar far the worst service I’ve ever received, we were served by manager erman and his lack of manors is just unbelievable. We’d heard through the grapevine that there is lack of staff and the members of the team are not treated equally or looked after by their managers as they should be, but we decided to look past that and try out the pizza that everyone was raving about. Although the pizza was delicious there was no where near enough selection on the menus and could definitely see the poor treatment staff may receive if this is sort or service that customers receive.

We stopped for lunch on a sunny day and sat outside. Staff saw us but didn't come out so I went in to get menus, then went in again to order. We were one of only two tables when we arrived, though it did fill up over the hour we were there. The pizza was top quality, fresh dough and premium toppings, no cheap supermarket mozarella! The Aperol Spritz was perfectly poured, and the cheese and ham croquettes delicious. Strangely, some tables were waited on and others not, even when staff were standing around with nothing to do, which gavce it more of a cafe feel than restaurant, despite the restaurant-standard food. A service charge is added to the bill automatically, but the guy behind the bar removed this for us as we had basically served ourselves.

Called in to Pi Pizza with my Mum as start of the Jubilee celebrations. Had a goid catch up over a couple of drinks & Harry served us. Harry as per, had his beaming smile & warm welcome to us. He always manages to make us feel comfortable & thats why we like to call in if we know he's on. Keep up the good work everyone & we will sure be back.Xx
