This Papa Johns is dangerously close to my flat… I have ordered here many times and by the time I put down the phone, put some shoes on and walk over there, my pizza is done! Always amazing quality, always hot and ready upon collection. Staff are always easy going and helpful!

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the apparent manager went in to order a pizza and asked the colleague about a deal I had sent to me through papa johns and said he had no idea walked off and continued to carry on making pizza instead of taking my order discussing attitude not impressed

Ordered a large pizza, the last 2 inches of this pizza was just crust, it was like a large pizza with medium toppings, terrible for the price they charge. Worst expensive pizza I've had would have been better off with a frozen pizza from tesco, will not be ordering again.

Basis order Hawaiian, hardly any meat a few bits of pineapple £27 😡 garlic bread (four cheese) no cheese... most unimpressive. Unable to contact back via phone so called and left message politely with driver... let see if we get a response 30/03/23 can’t be many of the same order this evening!

Ordered at 13:01 for a small gathering, said it was out for delivery on the website at 13:43, updated that it was delivered at 14:16, and finally was actually delivered at 14:30! Food was cold! We tried calling multiple times, not to complain but to check the status as it had flagged as delivered, and we were left to ring off at least 4 times! Unacceptable, if you want hot pizza order somewhere else

Called several times upto half an hour in advance of the shop closing to pick up takeaway. No one picked up the phone. When we reached they had closed everything up 20mins in advance.

Stone cold and when I tried to call on many times there was no answer so had to heat our food up with the rise in gas bill it’s not ideal

Myself and my wife decided to ‘treat’ ourselves to a pizza and some sides for our dinner tonight, what a mistake that was! Bearing in mind I live around 5 minutes drive from papa John’s, not only did my order take over an hour to arrive, upon arrival the entire order was freezing cold and inedible! Seriously unimpressive, I certainly won’t be rushing to order from here again, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either. ***update*** It is now 8 days after this order and I still haven’t received the refund I was promised would be in my bank within three working days, the customer service and food at this papa John’s is a stain on the name of the company, both being absolutely appalling, in conclusion, not only are they incapable of delivering edible food on top of that the staff are liars who make false promises. I will NEVER order from here again, I strongly suggest people think twice before doing so.

I love Papa Johns so much but recently the delays in getting your order is just insane. I rang over 1hour after ordering and apparently "the order had only just come through". Tonight, similar thing but "it's really busy sorry..". Took them 3 calls to finally answer the phone. They also forget dips that I have specifically paid extra for. I don't understand what has happened to this branch but it's really sad.

Absolutely the worst delivery in Poole ordered at 11am for a 5.45pm delivery and ended up cancelling the order at 7pm after ruining my sons 10th birthday party with no food to feed the invited guests then told I had to wait 1hr in the shop for a refund disgusting service will never use puppa johns again

Great service and quick delivery. However, the entire gluten free based pizza we ordered was completely stuck to the paper. When we tried to peel it off, the toppings came off, and the base stayed stuck to the paper. This was not great as when my 5 year old daughter went toeat a piece, there was paper stuck on the bottom of it and she could not eat it. The sides were lovely, but that could potentially be a little dangerous.

Never again. Not the first time we’ve been let down by this branch, however thought we’d give them another go. The pizza toppings were uneven to the point there was barely any cheese on one half of the pizza. They delivered completely different dips to our order because they had run out of our preferred choice with no mention of this when ordering. When called they offered to refund the value of the dips only.

One of the worker who is indian ( parkstone poole) , he doesn't have manners to talk with new trainee.He is really unprofessional and backbiter ( He was on the call and backbiting about me which is completely unprofessional ) .How you can expect from trainee to be perfect.? Yes I agree I did few mistakes but it doesn't mean that you start abusing. Secondly he was complaining loudly why these people had given me trainees because it was not my fault that you had given 50% off. I understand that that man had work pressure but it doesn't mean to rude. If you want to hire expert then why you are hiring freshers?

I've got to admit, Papa John's have always delivered in quality of pizza and service but recently both the quality of pizza and service has dropped off considerably. I ordered last Sunday at 12.15 and the tracking website advised the pizza had been delivered at 13.05 but it hadn't! I rang store and was advised it was enroute and would be 10 mins. 10 mins later I received a call from a delivery driver who could barely string a sentence together advising he was outside. I looked outside and assured him that he wasn't. After 5 mins of deliberating, I realised he was clearly on the wrong road and due to the poor understanding of English I decided to go and find him. Living in a flat, I had to walk around to the next close where I presumed he was. Sure enough he was there, frantically pointing at the receipt when it clearly states my address, not the address he was at. Anyhow, I took the pizzas and walked home, by this point the pizzas were not very warm anymore and although still tasty, they didnt have the quality to them like normal, such as not cut properly, toppings thrown on and looked like a dog's dinner. The garlic sticks were hard like the bread had gone off or gone stale. All this for £20 is not really acceptable in terms of stress, value and quality. I have emailed requesting a refund but am yet to hear back. Unfortunately for Papa John's I will go back to pizza hut in future.

Pizza was great, no issues at all but the staff were lazing about in another room and didn't bother to pay attention to incoming orders on the screen thus leading to 20-40 minute delays. We got some extra dip as an apology though so it's all good but at least try to check the screen once in a while

Tastes like a kebab shop pizza. Wanted to try something other than dominos, and it’ll be the last time we do. Also it seems as though the customer knows more than the staff. 1/10 would not recommend. Even if you have covid and can’t taste anything.

Where polite, app told us pizza had been delivered when hadn't, we gave them 10 minutes before calling up, the pizza finally arrived about 10 minutes after this, however without the sides and desserts we had ordered, the delivery man then went and got them to make the sides, he was very polite and apologetic, however by the time we received are sides the pizza was cold. This was the first time ordering from Papa John's as we normally order from dominoes we were very unimpressed especially as this was a birthday takeaway, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as this seems to not be a isolated incident, when I checked my receipt they had also taken £3 for charity which shocked me because I had not opted in to this, I wouldn't have minded this but would have picked a better charity! All in all won't be ordering from them again! Will stick with dominoes where we have never had any issues with, we just wanted to try a new place! STAY AWAY!

Love papa johns, but customer service isn't the best from this place...didn't want to take card payment for 6 special garlic sauces I forgot on online order... could of chucked them in for free as I'm so regular

Ordered for collection, apon arrival was told that they haven't received my order and that it doesn't exist even tho I have proof of order and a receipt. Was told there where not interested and given an email to contact, told I would receive a refund in 3-5 working day (that was a lie). Also worth noteing the guy who was on the screen and handling food went from one to the other without washing there hands Half an hour later after I return home I received a call saying I ordered it to the wrong address..... They had taken my order out for delivery to the wrong address even tho I ordered it for collection and was told I needed to collect it. Once I arrived to pick up my pizza it was STONE COLD as they did not recook it after THERE ERROR. still awaiting a reply form there support team on the matter, I dont expect one as it has been over a week now Do not order from here the employees will do anything to not help you and do not care for customer service. I will not be Ordering with papa johns again any time soon which is a shame as I use to alot

I ordered food for £ 30 and I am totally dissapointed, tremendously high and the quality and quantity in terms of extras minimal, I do not recommend it !!! for the money you can eat decent food in a good restaurant !!

Terrible service on ordering a pizza we have placed many orders and now after receiving over 8 which haven’t been right. we have phoned and complained even contacted head office yet they still send out not what we ordered every time we complain it’s oh sorry I we will send another

I ordered pizza online , payed online after 10 minutes I had I call that they closed and my order is cancelled and I will get refund in 3-5 working days. So no money, no pizza... absolutely awful... you should not let people make an order whene you about to close... you should people fix your website sorry but as I like this pizza but I don't think I will buy again . Ordered a large order , this arrived missing a item and cold ! If they can’t deliver to sandbanks delivering hot food then shouldn’t offer the service , phoned up and spoke to Ryan who explained they couldn’t give me a refund !! But would send the item , this never came . He wasn’t bothered in the slightest , very disappointing

The manager lady was very rude. I have asked 2 questions about delivery, she did not even look at my face. She repeated ‘i am sorry CCTV is working’ twice. Never ever go to Papa Johns because of this branch staff.

Ordered two large pizzas last night, absolute waste of money, there were hardly any toppings, paid a lot of money for basically dough, never again.

My first choice for takeout pizza. Dominos and Pizza Hut - both nearby - just can't compete on quality. And PJ always has some sort of offer running, to help slash the price.

we just ordered lunch for the work team. Never had Papa Johns and wont again..... The pizza was over cooked and lacked tomato sauce. dry and chucked. The unit didn't seem very clean either with poor customer service. Sorry Papa there our other better indie places.... and its tasted like ya johns.

Ordered two pizza's from this store. However there was a problem with the order but I was never contacted or made aware of the issue. Pizzas never turned up and when I went to reorder they were closed. Would recommend ordering from next door at Dominos!

I stoped using Papa John's for a while. I have decided to try their new hot dog pizza today. What a dissapointed the whole pizza had one frankfurt saussage in addition the put a free garlic dip.. It was melted butter with a hint of garlic. Never again I will order from Domino's far much better.
