I've been a regular customer to hortons over the years, but today's service was so bad I won't be using them again. I get a 45 minute lunch break.. 15 minutes of that was spent waiting to order because they had a family of 5 place an order before me and clearly couldn't cope with a group order. After finally ordering, 5 minutes goes by before I'm told they can't do my food so I said no problem I'll just have the milkshake then that I had ordered... another 15 minutes goes by and I still don't have my milkshake. At this point I have 10minutes left of my lunch break, so I proceeded to walk out and and quickly ordered some food from premier bites opposite. I never did get my milkshake from hortons or able to get a refund as no one was attending the till even after I had ordered and collected a hot panini from Premier bites... Hortons has gone down hill ever since the kids took over. On the other hand I can recommend premier bites opposite. Lots of love the RJ lift engineer.

These guys are so lovely. They welcomed us and our beddington terriers Teddy Bear and Bruno, they even gave the dogs a bowl of yummy treats. The food we had was delicious. Thank you so much for feeding us and the dogs so so well 😊

Ordered a filled roast beef baguette with stuffing. Brought out a beef(possibly but not filled) roll No stuffing and what I can only describe as five slices of beef if a slice is about 20mm by 25mm and about 1mm thick didn’t open straight away as in a rush so couldn’t go back

Give this place a wide berth....we sat outside for 45 mins waiting ...then the waitress who I had paid for our order gave me an argument... Not worth it. The food is nice, but life is too short to put with obnoxious bad service. We watched as at least 6 people walked in and got served and came out with their food while we sat drinking their dreadful coffee ..

Top job Hortons!!! I highly recommend them. I’m blown away at how good my muffin was was. Probably best breakfast muffin I’ve ever had!! And no I dont work for them. This is a genuine 5 star review. I can’t wait to place another order! Thank you so much JJ

Food. Was exeptional.I had roast beef baguette with stuffing gravy and horseradish...beef was perfectly pink and faultless.Wife had tuna baguette and nieces child had chicken breast baguette salad and mayo. All baguettes though not large were amply filled and with fresh quality produce.Coffees were mellow and fresh ground. On the whole if I lived down here I would partake regularly.Would highly recommend.

We were there yesterday. My family ordered the pork baguette, my son a sausage roll and I had the gammon Yorkshire wrap with crackling. My wrap was AMAZING and well worth the price. Everyone enjoyed their food and we will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu. Definitely try the Yorkshire wrap, it was better than the baguette & can't wait to eat there again. Thank you

I made an order. The food came quickly and very hot. It was delicious and such good value for money! I’ve spoken to the man who owns the shop and he’s a lovely man! He’s worked so hard on this business, alone. He’s doing an amazing job the food is scrumptious and lovely people! Definitely recommend!!! This man is so kind he even gave my dog some water and offered the dog some cut off meat! Made me feel so welcome

If I could give no stars then I would. There’s no “possibly” about this, this is definitely the worst roast we have ever had, I wouldn’t serve it to a dog. The gravy was spicy and so thick that you couldn’t even pour it, the stuffing was like mush, potatoes and veg were out of a freezer, the meat reminded me of a school dinner and the Yorkshire...well that was **** too. You will only make yourself sad if you order this and expect it to be decent, you’ll then probably resort to chucking it away and ordering creams after...😐🙌 And yes, that photo is a Yorkshire pudding, not a placemat.

A really lovely shop in Poole with great prices. I've had the pork bap a few times and it tastes great! They give you the option of what you want in your roll and the staff are all friendly. It's a nice place to go for food on the go.

I was down from Birmingham with my family. I was mistreated by a member of staff who was rude and slow! They had to ask me several times to repeat my order which got to the point it was confusing. I asked for no gravy in my pork bap however when I got down to the quay I opened the pork roll to find a large amount of gravy. I had to throw it in the bin. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service. Don't recommend to anyone.

This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society" We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.

Although there is a disabled parking space outside, the roads to it are all closed. Nothing to do with the pub though. The wife and I struggled to get there. I come from Poole, but have never been inside this historic harbour inn. As soon as you walk in, you can visualise the history, the smuggling plots being made by sailors of old, those walls could tell some tales. I was greeted by Kerry, who seemed very pleasant. I was really pleased to see dimpled handles in the pint and also the half. I mentioned that these are few and far between, and in her own words "this is a proper pub", and I cannot disagree. Two vessels of Best were poured and we sat by a window. Also present was "the founder member of the Glee Club" ( sarcasm on my part? absolutely ! ) aka the bearded landlord, I presume, who scowled around looking generally miserable, with no conversation to his customers or staff. We enjoyed our drinks and left, part of me satisfied with our visit, but underwhelmed by Mr. Chuckles.

Beers off. No thumper or fursty ferret, best ran out, and one of our party was served a pint a third full of sediment which should never have been served. Staff lack product knowledge. No knowledge of our booking. The food was ok, but one pudding still frozen in the middle. Not a pleasant visit

I don't overly eat that much, but brunch portion was so small, consisted of one bit of toast avocado, 2 hard bits of bacon and two tiny poached eggs. (£12) I'm still hungry. Ice coffee (£4) was nice but I wouldn't eat here again. I'd don't usually complain but I did tell the staff I wasn't pleased with the size, and that was ignored. It was a starter size, definitely not brunch category
