The best restaurants in Poole South West

Had a great lunch really tasty, turkey was amazing was served by the most delightful lady really helpful, The deserts were sooo tasty

Not good.wait forever for the food.no clean tables.the toilets were locked so no one could use the toilets.the portions were tiny and very expensive.it was very crowded so some people didn’t have seats and they still didn’t open the upstairs.i probably won’t come back here again.its a shame cause i used to really like kfc

Jason the land lord is very friendly guy! Even sexier now he’s had his chest waxed ! Great charity work guys. Drinks are a great price.

2 haddock and chips. Absolutely beautiful. Curry sauce was different than the usual, but very nice. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning.

I love this place. Before we moved away from Ringwood in 2019, we must have frequented this for meals and various events over 20 times. I’ve hosted events here and attended shows and meetings here too. Back for a weekend to celebrate a friend’s major birthday, we were always going to stay here. It has improved somewhat, making our stay even more enjoyable. Staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are immaculate and the food is fantastic. My only gripe is that the bar closes for everyone, including residents, when there are no people in the bar. We turned up at 11pm to find the bar and tills closed and no chance of a nightcap. Other than that, impeccable.

So disappointed, we wanted to support them as we live in Broadstone but had one large pizza £25 + Delivery hardly any toppings all crust, unfortunately won’t be using them again

Me and my granddaughter love this place the members are so nice and the give good eye contact. Every time we go to poole we go to shakeaway FIRST! We love this place ❤️

We used to stay at The Haven many moons ago and wanted to return to see it. It was also a lovely day and hoped we could sit outside and watch the world go by in and out of Poole Harbour. Things started well but gradually became more worrying as our food did not arrive. We ended up waiting around 1.5 hours for our food with no explanation from the kitchen, despite waiting staff apologetically telling us food was ok minutes away. When the food did arrive, my sandwich looked like it had been toasted, it had sat on the pass for that long. They made me another sandwich and took it off the bill. The whole order should have been reimbursed but the bar manager didn't seem to think a 1.5 hour wait for food was problematic. Lovely setting, food good but staff judgement when things went wrong fell well short in my opinion.

Very poor, flavourless food. Sweet & sour sauce inedible & chicken ‘balls’ were odd finger shapes - possibly to reduce actual meat used. Vegetables uncooked. Don’t bother.

Popped in for a snack & a drink on a sunny afternoon, to find the garden in a disgusting state. They've just spent money on new tables and chairs with parasols but what's the point if you are going to leave it like this...

We had a delicious cappuccino and hot chocolate and yummy muffins! Diane, who served us was very friendly and helpful. She even looked online at the times for Crazy Golf. Would thoroughly recommend

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night. Was supposed to be breakfast included but it was all locked up downstairs. When I arrived I had to call the mobile on the door. A man came with a key, didn't ask my name?. The room was dark and dirty. Ill be letting my company not to book here again.

One of my favourite Chinese takeaways. They always give me extra fortune cookies (my dog doesn't like to miss out). I'm vegan and the veggies are 100% yummy. The sauces are rich and delicious and they don't skimp out on the packaging - although I have enough plastic containers now! Always happy staff and always good, hot scrumptious food! Oh and quick too!
