-I’ve given them two chances, the shakes taste terrible, not blended properly and imps of chocolate at the bottom. Staff seem to be so depressed as well

I popped in Saturday afternoon, there was one table of 4 adults and 1 child inside, and 3 members of staff. Yet I waited a good 10 minutes before I was served, I wasn't even acknowledged and told they'd be right with me. There was so apology when I did finally get served and when I ordered a frozen yoghurt dessert, with no apology, was told they couldn't do frozen yogurt today. I definitely won't go back after today's experience.

Shakeaway used to provide good service and good quality shakes. but cust servs accused me in a very snotty email reply, of ripping them off just because I had to complain about the following This time I ordered a raspberry and dark chocolate shake, dairy free, regular size it cost me 6.58 It was so poor that I could not drink it .. very sparse content of raspberry and lumps of chocolate, very pale in colour and very weak in flavor. I emailed them to explain this and felt that compared to other local offerings this was very poor value and quality. Customer service email response, apparently backed up by the CEO, was very defensive, took huge offense that I dared to complain, and accused me of trying to rip off the company just because I asked for a free shake or a refund!!

Just went to have a drink, person behind the counter was very pleasant. Gift cards would be a great idea. I’m sure regular customers would love to receive a giftcard as a present to spend on their favorite shake.

Do not come here if you have a food allergy or intolerance. The staff are so rude seemed more interested in turning music up and dancing around. Sign stating please inform a member of staff if you have a food allergy, that’s what I did. Called what we thought was my daughter shake but turned out to be order after us!!!!! She took sip from shake and we realised just in time. The attitude of staff well let’s say clearly they don’t want to be working here

I just went into the Poole branch to treat myself to find the staff very rude! Both of the staff were female one with ginger hair, other brown, the store was quiet with only 2 customers sat down, they didn't even say hello or even look at me, to busy talking to each other. I ordered a regular creme egg and I was getting a snack out for my son when they called my ordered to which I answered and they said it again. I took my drink and didn't even leave the store yet and I heard them complaining about me. You need to teach your staff some Manners and customer service!

Visited with my young son who had an absolute ball thanks to a super chocolate milkshake. Staff were friendly and service was quick - my only comment would be that the menu is a bit overwhelming due to the vast selection of milkshakes. I probably just need more practice!

Visited the Poole store on 16/11/18 at around midday. Really disappointed in the service, treated my autistic friends abysmally, the staff were grumpy and very sarcastic. An example being, one of my friends asked how the server was and she replied ‘I feel dead inside’ - this may have been a joke however, with the other bad attitude I had witnessed, I thought it slightly inappropriate. I suggest some more staff training may be needed in your Poole store to deal with every kind of customer. It’s not all bad, the relocation looks good and my friends really enjoyed their shakes.

I’m a huge fan of shake away. But the one in Poole... not so much. I never have a problem using my Student ID at shakeaway, but apparently you can’t use it at this store, despite the menu saying they accept photographic ID. I don’t understand how the policy has changed for this one store.

I've just got back from shopping in Poole and just had to tell of the amazing customer service we received today. The group of girls working in Shakeaway were all so positive, friendly, and were singing along with the radio which created a really uplifting atmosphere in store. Makes all the difference, especially given how dull and monotonous customer service can be in other shops. Thanks, guys!

If you are thirsty but don't want a drink or if you are hungry but don't want any food - have you tried a milkshake? You can get one of those from here. They have more flavours than Wimpy and you can get a discount of you are a student or if you work there. I had a milkshake with trifle in it .. I found myself thinking... hmm " wow a trifle in a drink.. stupendous" then I walk our smiling. The design of the cup is below par and is the kind of cup you would get a a non- fizzy cola drink from in a mid-80's bowling extravaganza.

My son loves it here. Such a huge choice and my son likes to try something new every visit. Quite pricey, but a nice treat. Great if you can use your tesco vouchers too. A daily special would be good at a reduced price

I love shakeaway's anyway and this one was as good as any other. Good variety of mixes but could have been left a little longer I suppose as it was very chunky. Having said that, it doesn;t matter too much as it lasts longer!

Very nice milkshakes in a variety of flavours, just need to be blended a little longer. Some staff are great, but are let down by the mood of other colleagues.

Milkshakes here are consistently good as you can mix and match and have whatever you want, only one negative is that when they get busy they don't put the cups in order so sometimes someone who just came in gets their milkshake before you when you've been waiting 10mins already!

I went to Shakeaway Poole today and was presently surprised. I was greeted with a friendly "Hello!" before choosing what I wanted. I walked to the till, where the person quickly whisked round to me and took my order. We had a childish giggle, and I felt very welcomed.I watched my milkshake being made. All of the staff got involved. After some playful banter, talking about the immaturity of the staff, we were all laughing for a good while! My milkshake was made perfectly. The cream on top looked AMAZING (Seriously people - Try it!!!), and the milkshake tasted perfectly. Creamy, thick and some lumps at the bottom for me to nibble on - Absolutely perfect.Great atmosphere, service and shakes!Highly recommended compared to other stores, too! To the people who complain about the cost: Go into somewhere like Costa and see how much they charge for one of their drinks - It's roughly the same!!!

Good. Beth was good as a waitress. Went with an OAP and they were helpful. The only issue was they claimed to have no knowledge of my reservation

As soon as I cut into the haddock I could smell that it was not fresh. A very pungent smell. My son’s haddock also had a very pungent smell. The chips had obviously been re-cooked . At a cost of £35 for the full 5 meals it can only be described as disgusting . I think that trading standards should make a visit to these premises.

Went to go in for a kebab, the owner tried charging me 50p extra for salad (even though the menu said otherwise) when i brought the owner up on this the response i got was “i dont care” i have been a loyal customer for 5 years and will never go back, i would recommend people use pizzarella in hamworthy instead

Came for lunch with my girlfriend and her grandma, we called up the day before and tried to book a table for 2pm but were told we wouldn't be able to get a table booking until 3pm as they were booked up. (when we arrived there were only 3 other tables taken up in the large restaurant so we were unsure why they hadn't let us book any earlier as there was definitely space). We arrived at 3:10pm (10 mins late) due to grandma's mobility issues, we were apologetic for being late when we arrived and shown to our table, where the set menu was already on the table for us. As we sat down the waiter came straight over and told us we had to order immediately as the kitchen was closed and they would have to reopen for us but we had to be quick! Very surprising since there was no indication when we booked the day before that the kitchen would be shutting within minutes of our booking. The manager came up to our waiter and told him to 'get our orders in now and not mess around' whilst he was speaking to us and it all felt very hostile once we had entered - my poor girlfriends grandma didn't have time to even sit down and read the full menu before the waiter was rushing her, telling her he needed to take her order. We said the starters and mains we wanted and then I asked my girlfriend if she would like to get desserts or not, at which point the waiter told us desserts were not available! He then walked off without giving us a drinks menu or taking a drinks order from us. When the starters came I asked to see a drinks menu and get some water for the table but he never returned - we had to go to the bar to get drinks ourselves. Fortunately at the main course we had a new waitress who was lovely and she brought water over to our table. During the main course we heard the table behind us talking to the manager and they all ordered desserts, even though we had been told they were not available to us! When we had finished our mains the nice waitress came to take our plates and asked if we would like a desserts menu, we told her we had been informed desserts were not available and she was a little surprised by this and apologised. We paid the bill and left. Had it not been for the saving grace of the nice waitress we would have refused the service charge as the service we received prior to her arriving was abysmal. Very, very annoyed in particular by my poor girlfriends grandma being rushed by the waiter to order food before she had even sat down or had the chance to ask for a glass of water, not really acceptable to do to anyone but especially not a 90 year old. The bill was expensive for just a lunch but the food was good and the view is spectacular, the service just really let the restaurant down. Would not go back.
