KFC Poole - The Dolphin Centre in Poole

This place must be shut down by the council or whoever is im charge of health abd safety. Unit has not been properly cleaned for years. Tables, floor, counter is always filthy. I cant even imagine how the kitchen and food handling is. Images attached for everyone to see and avoid that place

This place is hit and miss Lots of sticky tables, hit and miss with the rewars scanning. The staff are great, some better than others

Food was 10/10, I however was one of two customers and we both had to wait far too long considering the amount of staff floating around. Stuff like this is labelled 'fast' food, not 'medium pace while we chat' food. I was going to eat in but the thought of listening to the snapchat idiocy while I demolish Chicken put me off and I found a bench by primark instead. Windy but preferable. Based on that I will continue to enjoy zinger burgers and hot wings but will do so from another branch. Or perhaps I will visit dolphin center kfc and just be a total nuisance boomeresque customer to level the field. Either way it was unfortunately a sub-par experience but I goshdarn love me some kfc so the eating part is always good

KFC has always been good to eat and quality. But in this center the atmosphere has been very small, there are no comfortable places to sit at rush hour.

Seating area closed, Sunday evening. Luckily we were taking it back home to eat

There were feathers in my chicken and a singular hair in my drink. Also there was a bone in my chicken wing? What’s up with that??

The place was really messy.I had to ask to have a table cleaned as they were all dirty. The rubbish bin was too full for me to clear my tray when I finished eating.

Each time I go into this KFC there is a wonderful young man called Sam who is always so smiley and polite. He is quick and efficient and makes this the best KFC ever!

Ridiculous portions. They reduced the size of chicken breast by half. The boneless bucket is a complete rip off. Wont use this branch again.

Could do with an upgrade toilets where out of order, staff, coped well under pressure kept going with a smile

Missing a lot of our order! Staff wouldn’t admit they had missing anything. I’m a wheelchair user and every time I spoke she refused to listen to me. Facilities not available locked up, couldn’t even get in with a radar key! Do not eat here!!!!

I am a frequent costumer in kfc but I got a very bad experience today from the staff piyuth taking orders. He behaved very rude and his service was very bad.

Think they were having a bad day....no lettuce, no mayo, no ketchup. My zinger burger was just chicken in a dry bun. Didn't mention any of the missing items when we ordered. Very slow.

missing items burger didn't come with lettuce or anything no ketchup chip were cold made my friends cry go to the subway next door instead

Cold chips all 8 of them smallest bit of lettus you ever seen and no Gravy in the Gravy box meal and a very rude manger when I phoned to complain. No wonder they are all closing down in the area do not waste your time going to this branch

I ordered a bargain bucket and got fobbed off with 4 pieces of chicken and one small portion of fries by a 12 year old who couldn't understand plain English. Will not be returning

We’ve been waiting for our order for over 5mins so we decided to make a follow-up. The lady and the male said they have already served the order. So I said that we didn’t receive it. The level of sympathy and empathy that they’ve shown and provided was ZERO! They made it look like it was our fault. I told them there should be a receipt given in the kiosk so this would not happen. Bad customer service!!!! I love KFC but I don’t think of coming back here!

I love the hot wings,..Good friendly staff. I asked for flat wings, and they said no prblem.

The staff NEED to learn the difference between WHITE and MILK chocolate in this KFC, twice now I've asked for milk chocolate cookies and they've given me white chocolate. I even made it clear by saying dark and they STILL got it wrong! Very frustrating. This is a decent KFC but it gets a 2 star due to the atrocious listening skills of the employees.

Thanks for reminding me how bad kfs is now. All chicken and fries were look warm, beans to hot to eat. Air conditioning on cold and staff not interested in taking orders just refer you to the machine and shout across to customers instructions how to use them.

Most of order missing and did not answer the phone when I tryed to call then. Not happy my kids was very upset

Good and clean compared to other KFC. The gentleman in the floor was very nice and friendly. He help us to give spare bag. Girl in the till was rude and I think she needs more training for customer service. Besides, enjoyed all the meal.

All the tables had remnants of food over them or on the floor. Bin was full so trays stacked up or just left on the tables. There was not one clean table to sit at. This was about 3.30pm on a Thursday so not busy or many people. What were the staff doing? Burger was cold and gravy like lava. Definitely not returning.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The server was patient and helped with our order and even knew what I had come back to get.. the food was hot and made quickly. Thankyou

My Friend said she saw one of the guys Dipping his finger on the Gravy pot and licking it through the window of the shop!! I'll Never eat again

Front service are miserable, atmosphere was probably the best part, I got a boneless banquet which normally comes with 5 pieces of boneless chicken, I got 3. Furthermore the gravy I got with it tasted just like cigarette ash and I’m not exaggerating, would not recommend.

Queue too long in Subway so went into KFC. Used screen to order and didn't have to wait long. Enjoyed a hot n tasty twister wrap meaklwith comfortable place to sit.

Very helpful staff at till and friendly we always enjoyed our food and atmosphere 😀

What an awful place. Poole dolphin centre KFC is. Got given partly wrong order and staff, kids serving were useless. Chicken burger was squashed into a small ball and they gave a young child a full fat coke instead of a fruit shoot. My chicken mayo wrap was disgusting hardly any chicken and full of unwashed going mouldy black salad. Up stairs shut so no where to sit. Tables filthy, we had to clean it after waiting ages for one. Disgraceful!!! Never will i or anybody i know step foot in that dump again.

One of the best KFC branches in the area. Food is always hot and prepared quickly. The only thing letting it down a little bit is there are always too many people waiting to use the downstairs seating rather than just go upstairs which can be a little frustrating if you physically can't use the upstairs seating (pushchair with you or a wheelchair user for example) but other people's laziness isn't really the fault of the business. Convenient for a quick lunch when shopping in the Dolphin Centre, seeing as McDonald's and Burger King have now disappeared from Poole High Street and the hygiene levels in the nearby Subway branch are questionable at best, and cheaper than visiting the nearby Wetherspoons. Plenty of choice for adults and kids, and healthier choice and vegetarian/vegan options. This also has a more family friendly atmosphere for those with kids than the local Wetherspoons where daytime drinkers seem to think you're putting them out by daring to eat in there with your family and Subway where you're likely to get ignored by the teenagers on the till trying to pull the young girls they are serving. My favourite place to grab a quick lunch when in Poole town centre!

Appalling service. Machines not issuing receipts then staff arguing about what was ordered. Slammed down drinks on the counter which, after all the fuss, were flat and 2 hot wings were missing

Served quickly. Although the person taking my order left the front. Had to wait to sort my order. Everything else was great. Been there a few times

Food was good, really hot and quickly served, your employees though were awful, rude, unwelcoming, unprofessional and just looked like they didn’t want to be there, maybe they need some more customer service training (like teaching them to wash their hands after they’ve touched their hair or face)

Was actually shocked at the food we were served. All chicken items were barely luke warm, the burger bun had been on heat so long it was stale.and the gravy burnt our hand- all in all it was just bin worthy, missing items and a restaurant full of littered tables...would not eat here again, its actually put us off kfc as a whole.

Absolutely shocking service with the delivery!! A guy came to my door with no food but a recipt wich wasn't even mine rang restaurant and they didn't care was rude and no help at all !! Not the first time ive had problems with them

There is never side Brest on u orders when u ask for it they say we don’t have it everywhere now like that take it off from ur menu when u don’t serve it there only chicken thighs and chicken wings we paying to enjoy what we pay for!!!!!!!

Reasonable for what it is. I go there for a quick snack and chat but would escape the place fast.

Clean and tidy - but self order machine is not giving your bills so be careful when it’s busy and remember your order number .

This kfc is possibly the greatest finger lickin’ chicken I have ever experienced. Customer service is fantastic, good Job guys

Your good standard KFC, food wise. We wanted to eat out, but for some reason, the sitting area was closed. We ate in the car.

The place was really untidy, customers were clearing tables themselves. The bins were overflowing too. Not a very pleasant experience.

Food was amazing, I had the wow box! PLEASE MAKE THIS AN EVERYDAY THING, NEVER GET RID OF IT! It's a brilliant deal and will definitely come back. Would've been nicer to get some one who was able to speak better English, made it very hard when I was trying to listen out for my number, and left others very confused. Other than that, amazing KFC! Thanks a lot.

Worst KFC I have ever had, and to top it off the toilets was a disgrace.

The only downside was that you waited ages for your food they need more staff during busy periods

Not about KFC in itself but the staff at this branch in Poole is terrible. Not friendly not accommodating. Lady who served us acted as if she didn't want to be at work that day. They can do better with customer service otherwise I will take the digital ordering method over the people in the counters 100% but their machines are broken too. 🤔

This place is a disaster, the last 3 orders I've had have all been missing at least 1 item, my latest order was missing 3 things AND was cold. My worst experience was my order before this where they missed a whole bucket of chicken BUT wouldn't deliver it I had to get someone to go get it cos the reason I use delivery is cos I'm normally working. The customer service is also absolutely abysmal as it's like they don't care as long as they take your money

It's better than the branch at Wessex gate, I'll tell you that.

The only reason I go there is because a small family member loves KFC, I cannot understand the attraction. That said the staff are hard working and efficient. Unfortunately the advent of Deliveroo, Just Eat etc increases waiting time significantly as it does with McDonalds.

Good place to have snack or lunch. Recommended.

Food was hot and exactly what I expected from KFC. The 5 stars is for the young lad that served me. Great attitude, complemented me on my choice and was very helpful.

The fried chicken was definitely not fresh as it was all cold! And the fries are just warm.

We ordered this on deliveroo, and Always have problems with food being covered in grease and missing items.

Staff service is okay, but a very unhygienic place to sit and eat.

Ordered a selection of different items and were missing some even though paid for. Really not a good experience and would advise anyone not to use their delivery service as they were unable to count. Will never use again

They didn't get my order right and they didn't get the order right for the person in front of me either.

Terrible service Dirty floors and tables. Staff working at a snails pace and not interested when issues raised. Fast food service not fast at all for half empty lunchtime. Customer service needs serious attention.

Kfc are not really taken Any consideration on the table cleaning I sat at a table with my kids and also witnessed another mother using napkins as a table cloth it's not nice to order food to not be able to sit down and enjoy it not sure where she was but bring back that blonde young lady who was working there she was cleaning constantly and very polite toward the customers

They have assorted fast food; fried chicken and chips, burgers, etc

Serves the smallest chicken with the box meals of any kfc I've ever been. Basically a wing, when it should be an actual piece of chicken. The self serve machines always seem to be out of receipt paper as well.

A fair amount of seating, the staff seem friendly enough and are quick to get food out. Chicken was good as always and well cooked. I ordered at the machine and it didn't provide a receipt but that was about the only negative about the experience. A good little KFC.

Great KFC. Although the screens you can pay on never work, ordering from the till is easy and quick. Food came very quickly and was tasty. Nothing to fault as I had a chicken fillet burger. Will definitely come again.

One of the most dirtiest restaurants I have been too, none of the tables were clean, floor had more chips on it than in the fryer ,had to wipe my feet while I was leaving just not a nice experience.

Verry bad, 37 minutes waiting for my order...

Rubbish. Stay away..wrong order..cold chips..terrible chicken...nowhere to sit ..tried twice ...never again...I do love my KFC..

Nice KFC. AT the bus station in poole. Quick service. Nice food.
