my food was brilliant, millie was my server and she was fab, dan and nila cooked my food and credits to them! will definitely be coming back

Arrived for dinner around 5, we got our food at 6.55pm. Over an hour and a bit waiting and the food was cold. No manager in sight or a check back from the server on us so we could tell them the food was shocking. Not even offered to remove the cold items from the bill. We asked for the bill so we could leave asap and when we paid our dirty plates, etc were still left on the table… Will NOT be returning Avoid this place!!!!

The lady greeting customers (arrived 17:35) was extremely rude. The cutlery on the table was all dirty. However, our server Josh, was out of this world. Friendly, polite and attentive. Making conversation with the children, engaging with the group and just a really lovely guy. Thank you Josh 😊

Food was too overcooked and the presentation was thrown together. My friends chicken goujons were like rocks, totally uneatable. The Waitrose was very friendly and offered to replace them but, we were near finished but, she kindly did give her a coffee on the house to compensate.

Had a lovely meal out with the other half as an anniversary treat. Our hostess Leigha was great. She was very attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. I am leaving this review as she deserves some recognition of a great job she’s doing. Thank you Leigha!

often come here for breakfast and evening meals and can't find much to fault. the staff are really friendly and professional. the bbq chicken stack is awesome. only negative is they don't do the build your own breakfast anymore bur I assume that's a company wide policy. I think this is a really good family restaurant.

Sat promptly on arrival by a lady who looked a bit scruffy, no uniform? Place needs an overhaul, looks so grubby in there! Young girl serving us was very sweet and lovely to the kids (Zara?) food was ok but salad bar looks sad and empty. I feel like managers are too complacent and don’t seem to care about how they act or look. One woman who was behind the bar got quite drunk after she finished which was not a good look!

Dirty and grubby. Cutlery was dirty, table was dirty. Just a bit rough. Salad bar looked tired and soggy Waitress very helpful.

The quality of the food was good but the staff rushed us and made us feel uncomfortable. A meal at 1930hrs was finished in just about an hour including pudding. We didn't get time to eat from the salad cart. I suffered from indigestion later that evening.

Nice pub plenty of free parking onsite and at nearby supermarket. Service really friendly and quick. Food wise couldn’t complain tbh two of us had rotisserie chicken which we both enjoyed, though I’m sure you used to get extra veg on the plate? Just the chicken, 1 piece of corn. sauce and fries. My daughter had a burger which she enjoyed. The salad cart since covid I’ve noted in most Harvesters has not been as good, so pretty standard options for the salad. Still got the Red Devil sauce though which is always a winner!! Didn’t have desserts but did have coffee and our server offered to make me a bespoke latte which was much appreciated. All in all still very good value. The restaurant was fairly quiet.

I came in for lunch today and had the best experience I’ve had! The server was Josh he was very polite and friendly, the food was amazing as always! 10/10 would highly recommend

We were seated promptly by a friendly face, the food was reasonably priced and cooked well, nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Salad bar wasn’t the best, and was not being restocked fast enough. The biggest disappointment was that the plates and bowls were all filthy. Bits of food all over them, greasy thumbprints and dirty water marks from the dishwasher. Obviously an issue that needs to be addressed. The waitress Amy was lovely and pleasant and helpful.

Impromptu Date night!! Wonderful steaks and cooked to perfection. We arrived late without a booking. We were instantly accommodated and looked after by Amy even though it was busy. Nothing was too much trouble

The food was amazing, Niall cooked my steak to perfection. Our server Jared was awesome so kind and great with kids.

Super accommodating and helpful throughout. 24 people for lunch for a business trip is certainly a lot to cater for last minute but they smashed it! Sarah (server) was particularly lovely and really made our lunch better than expected. Really grateful for the staff and chefs for sorting everything for us so quickly - will definitely be returning!

We were seated at our table, there were empty bottles on the window sill that had clearly been there some time. There was a piece of lemon in the window as well. The floor was absolutely filthy next to us and under our table. We ordered food and drinks and the drinks came quickly. The food took over 40mins to arrive. We went to the salad bar which was a mess. Everything was contaminated with other things and half the trays were empty. When our dinner finally arrived, the food was not good. We both ordered burgers and the cheese was bad and the meat was mushy and flavourless. I would definitely not visit again.

We arrived at the Harvester Alder hills and was greeted by Danny, he was very pleasant and welcoming. We had 12 people in our party and Upon showing us our table, he promptly took our drinks order. We had a few questions for him with regards to changing and adding a few things to our breakfasts, he couldn’t have been more helpful and we all had a laugh along the way. Very happy with our tea & coffee refills and breakfast came out quickly and hot.

We visited for breakfast and met a friend of ours there. The breakfast was cooked well and was really enjoyable. This was helped by receiving first rate service from Annie, who looked after us during our visit. We will be back again.
