The best restaurants in Plymouth South West

Really disappointed by my recent visit, more so as visited years ago and it was excellent. We were a party of 4 and went for the meze selection for 4. To start with the whitebait was burnt, the calamari was paper thin and tasteless and there was no nice Greek Salad, feta or olives. The meats came out and were average at best. The stifado tasted like a supermarket sauce and the moussaka again wasn't to a brilliant standard. The fish was nice though in a tasty garlic sauce. Poor dining experience for the price and definitely wasn't a proper "Greek Food" experience whatsoever.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The chicken was served to three of us raw, which we tried to ask to be taken off the bill, since we all three started to feel queasy and sick, and the manager or one of the colleagues argued with us because of it. Their response was “we cook our chicken medium rare to medium” which is unheard of for chicken. Then, the only agreement was to take “two off of the bill not three” even though they admitted the chicken was served “slightly raw”. Embarrassingly, two other customers were at the table opposite us and had to say “we’ll vouch for the fact that it was raw and that he said that” !!! So ridiculous. I think because we were a group of four women maybe they didn’t care. A very very bad experience and awful representation of the company from the staff.

New menu so had to try. I don't do fish so had chorizo starter and bread followed by tacos. Absolutely delicious washed down with a delicious prosecco or two. Others had fish and chips which was equally enjoyed. The manager Steve was as always delightful. Chef came and spoke to us too. Lovely food, lovely location and staff

Continues to get better, another takeaway order, another amazing meal, the sesame chicken in sticky sauce is incredible, the Singapore noodles are a consistent order favourite. Arrived hot, fresh and fast, with usual vibrant flavours. Highly recommend this place 👌

The pizza here is incredible, arguably the best pizza I have ever had and that’s inclusive of Italy!

Do not bother with the bread and butter pudding .Just a solid lump of dry dough .Very disappointed as it is one of favourites.

Fantastic, amazing service food was lovely. Staff were friendly and most welcoming. 6 of us ate here all ordered different things all was served beautifully.

Incredible food! The mutton curry and plantain were mouth watering. Home cooked quality Caribbean food at its best. Can’t wait to return.

This place has been closed for quite awhile. It's now 'The Little Kitchen '
