Me and my son visited on the 3rd march for my birthday. We were greeted by who I'm assuming was the manager. He was welcoming. This wasn't continued by the Waitress who then took us to our table.
Firstly, the seats in the middle section was dirty. My son had ordered the burger which turned up in Pitta bread as a substitute to a brioche bun. They hadn't mentioned this to us, so as you can imagine when it came out, he was very disappointed. He did change his meal to something else and the Waitress said it will be a while because there's people Infront. We had to eat our meals separate.
I asked for San Miguel which they had ran out of so I was given the drinks menu after I had asked, which she didn't return for another 15-20 minutes and when she did, she asked if we'd like any desserts! I had mentioned I was waiting to order a drink but unfortunately my parking was due to run out so didn't have time.
There was no apology for the inconvenience. Definitely would recommend Waitress training as she was abrupt and came across rude.
I did email before writing a review, which they have rudely ignored. Won't be recommending or coming here again. So unorganised and chaos!
Second visit after such nice meals the first time, I chose the carbonara as I had this on the first visit and really enjoyed . This time it was completely tasteless. My wife and daughters meals were very salty and my granddaughter’s spaghetti bolognaise was nothing like a bolognaise with hard carrots and crunchy celery!
My granddaughter has a severe food allergy and we are always worried about eating out but as we had eaten here before, and she hadn’t been poorly we were happy that she would be safe.
There was nothing suitable for her in the starters section so she chose to have a dessert instead as part of the set meal.
Half way through she alerted me to the fact that she had a small piece of plastic in her sorbet. I was a little bit horrified but didn’t say anything and thought,,, these things can happen. After a couple more spoonfuls and a larger piece of plastic I told the waiter and he took it off me and apologised saying it must have been from the sorbet container. No gesture of goodwill offered, not that we would necessarily have accepted but not good service and certainly WONT be going back!
First time here today. Sadly forgot to take pics as we meet friends and were chatting. 2 had breakfasts, 1 had scrambled eggs on toast and 1 had mushrooms on toast. Big portions, lovely food and reasonably priced for the quality & quantity. Every table was taken and a couple groups came in and left (due to no tables)....always a good sign of decent food. Will definitely go another time and take pics !
Continues to get better, another takeaway order, another amazing meal, the sesame chicken in sticky sauce is incredible, the Singapore noodles are a consistent order favourite.
Arrived hot, fresh and fast, with usual vibrant flavours.
Highly recommend this place 👌
Never been here before and my initial thoughts were that it may be overpriced and poncey by the things that I’ve heard. How wrong I was!
There is a very sort of upper class vibe here with the piano music and the waiters etc but in a very non poncey good way! The staff were lovely and all really approachable and friendly which was lovely, food was insane, really really nice and tasted like it was cooked to a high fresh standard and the value of our meal was extremely good. It was about £130 for four of us for a 3 course dinner each and alcoholic drinks so I consider that very good value.
Would highly recommend the prawn in filo pastry as a starter!
Really nice vibes too, the place was nicely busy and has a buzz about it, really well prepared tables, nice views and just an all round lovely place to be.
I would definitely recommend and will 100% go back again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon
Fantastic, amazing service food was lovely. Staff were friendly and most welcoming. 6 of us ate here all ordered different things all was served beautifully.
