Great Greek restaurant, been here a few times and always good. Staff lovely, think a change of ownership in recent times but still great. Right in the lovely Barbican area, plenty there. Meze meal with red wine, reasonable prices, will be coming back, well recommended 👍😀

5 stars all around. Came here for the first time at 8pm and everything the was perfect . The atmosphere was calm and friendly, service from the waiters was incredible, perfect amount of time waiting in between courses and the food itself was completely out of this world. If I could tell all of Plymouth about this restaurant I would. I highly recommend!!!!!

Just avoid this place. Cold food, small portions, and a very long wait. Food itself was just OK. The couple next to us actually left after waiting for half an hour for their meals.

We had a great dinner at Meze Grill, restaurant in a good location and menu has some good choices with both of us enjoying everything we had. Service slightly slow but friendly

3.5 stars. The service for us was a little slow and we did have a few things brought that we hadn't ordered. There did seem to be quite a few things going back to the kitchen in error. The food itself was ok. We had the meze platter and the portions were enormous! The moussaka was tasty but quite salty and the lamb chops were delicious. Everything else was a little so so. All in all we had a nice time. This place is excellent value, just make sure you go hungry. We're big eaters and couldn't finish everything.

The people were so friendly and the food and service were great. The fish was particularly nice so I would recommend it.

We had our special xmas dinner , the food was delicious , the staff super polite and attentive, they accommodated all our needs to make special our dinner ! We were all Super happy with everything 🎅🏻🎄

I wish I could add 100 stars! Absolutely amazing service yesterday for my mum in laws 50th birthday! We came late to our booking and they were very accommodating. Very kind, and their service was impeccable. They even had us there after their closing time! Food absolutely amazing and fast service! They have her a free bottle of wine for her birthday! Also sang happy birthday. 10 out of 10 absolutely perfect. 🖤🖤

Family of 6 special occasion meal ....From the moment we arrived to leaving the restaurant the service was attentive whilst not intrusive , nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautifully cooked & presented and tasted so delicious, very generous servings. Highly recommend 🤩

Great Find, Great Food and Service. Set in the Beautiful Barbican area of Plymouth.

Fantastic find on first trip to Plymouth… recently re-opened. A superb early evening 2 course meal for £17 per person. We had Bruschetta and calamari to start; moussaka and lamb souvlaki for main. All delicious, hot, tasty, generous portions, and the staff were charming. Lost a star on atmosphere just because the music didn’t fit the dining experience in our opinion.

Terrible food. Chicken was raw.

Great food and service! Everything was fresh and delicious. Very generous portions and kind service! The fish fillet with olive oil was the best fish dish we had in the UK! Tasty tziziki and vegetarian mussaka.. and of course great coffee and baklava! Would definitely come back again!!

Waren letzte Woche in Ply. und auf der Suche nach etwas Essbarem. Zu erste schreckte der Zusatz "Grill", da unweigerlich an deutsche Pommesbude gedacht wird. Einmal drin: alles Super. Super Essen, freundlicher Service und faire Preise. Kann uneingeschränkt jedermann empfohlen werden!!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our friend's birthday. This is our second time here for a meal because we live Cornwall and come up for the weekend. Food was delicious and staff was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice food! We were warned of slow service as we were walk-ins, but it wasn't too bad! I definitely recommend the mixed meze! The greek salad is not authentic and not worth getting in my opinion.

Been here twice now. Two things the chips and the chicken are the bomb. Very good service and food in general. The second visit I went for the £50 selection between two people, it was good but not as good as the main menu dishes.

Went here last night with a few friends for our christmas meetup. The staff here are really friendly, funny and attentive. We ordered the Meze for 5, so much food, it just kept coming! All of it was great, particularly the moussaka and stifado! Very reasonably priced too, for 5 of us with two bottles of wine, Meze each and a cocktail to finish it came to about £45 each. We will definitely return!

Went to celebrate a friends birthday Waited 35 mins for drinks to arrive ( or at least some of them) and then went and got the remaining myself from the bar We then waited almost two hours for our meals to arrive The food was beige and bland Service was appalling My work boots would have been more tasty Not one of us enjoyed the food Sorry Meze but we won’t be back

Very friendly staff. Menu had something for everyone, The back ground music was set at the right level so it is as its called background music. Unlike some places that you go to..

The chicken strogonoff was lovely and general attention of the staff were brilliant. Needed more people dining as price very reasonable and menu varied.

Great place to eat, the staff are friendly, happy and helpful. The food was perfect and very reasonably priced. Even my friends dog was treated fantastic and enjoyed some treats from the kitchen ☺️ we'll definitely go again. Thank you!

They were very busy on the night we went but the staff were lovely. The food was delicious we had the Meze to share, well worth the price we could not eat it all. Would definitely recommend.

Went here for dinner on the off chance,the staff were very welcoming and professional ordered are food it came to our table piping hot and the food ordered (steak) done to perfection the price was very reasonable i cant rate this restaurant enough and can't wait to go back to see milos and staff if you want somewhere welcoming friendly and quality food meze bar and grill is the place to go 5 stats from me

Service was superbstaff very pleasant but the Greek food was not as good as we have had elsewhere.

Purtroppo il bel locale tradisce le aspettative. Cozze spappolate immangiabili, calamari non puliti, fritto si pesce duro e spesso, aglio esplosivo in ogni pietanza ed infine dolce vecchio e servita fetta.. non completa. Il cameriere invece di portarne un'altra si è messo a ridere quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare. Peccato!

Lovely meal. Prawns starter was our favourite, halloumi a close 2nd.

It was quite busy, but the staff were calm and attentive. It is a good place for larger groups to be together. Food was delicious, clean and good quality. Palatable menu wine choices. If you like a strong coffee give that a miss, but if you like latte you won't be disappointed. That said, we all had a lovely evening.

This is a lovely friendly restaurant. We really enjoyed our evening here and the staff were very nice,they chatted to us and welcomed us as we were visitors to Plymouth. The food was delicious and decor nice, it's in a lovely old street in Haymarket. We had our dogs with us and were allowed them in which made life easier. Thankyou!

Very welcoming place with good customer service. The food arrived fairly quickly and was enjoyable. The lamb skewers were particularly good and the steak. The vegetable moussaka needed a bit more flavour.

My husband and I visited this place and absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly and our meals were the best we have ever had, cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again.

Overly priced. 2 small skewers of lamb and frozen shop bought french fries £19. My local turkish has way better and way bigger portions for way less than half of that cost. I also believe the nan bread and ciabatta is shop bought and was served burnt. The 2 stars is for the baklava which was a decent size and very moorish. I added 1 more star for the staff. They were amazing.

Fabulous Greek Cypriot restaurant in Southside St. A warm welcome when we walked in and were shown to a table towards the open kitchen area. We ordered the whitebait to share for starters, I ordered the chicken souvlaki and my other half had the kalimari. The mains appeared with a Greek salad and a large bowl of crisp fries. My dish had two large souvlaki, the chicken chunks were moist, succulant and to die for. My wife's kalimari was equally as tasty, we had two coffees and a very pleasant bottle of house red, this came to a very reasonable £58. Absolutely superb, and we can't wait to go again.

Absolutely beautiful and delicious food. We tried the meze and everything was just gorgeous. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the host (?) was very naturally welcoming. We were made to feel right at home. Lovely evening and we will be back when we're in Plymouth the next time.

Late supper here, with wife & student daughter in early Jan. Food & drink was great. Service a little uneven - we were left alone for quite a while after mains cleared, and needed to get staff's attention again to request desserts (they appeared engrossed in conversation...). Pricing reasonable. Would happily return.
