A great place. A great view and the breakfast was superb. A shout out to the staff who were the best hosts. It can't get any better

Lovely cafe with extensive views. Friendly, efficient staff. We usually have the fabulous brocoli and stilton soup, but today it wasn't available, so we had the carrot and coriander, which was equally delicious! So tasty 😋 Personally I feel the prices are as expected, especially given it's so flavoursome, and well cooked and served.

All in context, the food was quite good. Great views. Toilet outside. Lots and lots of benches outside across the cliffs. The cafe seems to have had some revamping. Feels Crowded inside (due to the windy weather) but despite a not extensive menu, we enjoyed the omelet, fish and chips and scampi, and a lovely hot beverage.

Lovely location, haven't been there for a while and feel it's become expensive for a cafe. Bought a burger and chips with a tea for my friend, and a basic full English with a coffee for me, which came to £26.10. It could be me not keeping up with the times but I don't think I could justify a return visit at that price.

From the outside it looks nice, but inside it's absolutely falling apart. Some things are a little pricey and it takes foreeeeever to get an order, only 1 person on the till so it takes so long. No wheelchair access

I have been going to Jennycliff Cafe for years now and the service and food is nothing short of fantastic. Beautiful views over Plymouth Sound and a lovely atmosphere.

Staff are very helpful and welcoming,the food is plenty full. The views across Plymouth sound and into Cornwall are fantastic.

This cafe is in a prime location over looking Plymouth Sound, the views are stunning here which is also a mecca for dog walkers. Dogs are allowed in as long they behave. The food is really nice. Hot and cold drinks available and icecream also. A large free car park is only a few minutes away.

What a place, good hearty breakfasts. Nice staff very friendly. Very quick service. Its a cafe so don't expect luxury. But it's great. Stunning views of Plymouth sound.

It has had a few changes since my last visit, had a pastie and coffee which were very tasty and the steps to the beach are repaired

Great food at fair prices! Update a year on: This place is just so good. The staff are amazing, polite, and helpful. An example of which is that today (18/10/2024), I took my wife and newborn son up there, but there was nowhere to put a pram. So a member of staff came over and locked the 2nd door so they could turn that area into parking for the pram. It was so helpful and meant we could relax and enjoy the food. Which, by the way, is amazing itself. I had a fry up, and my wife had cheesy chips, no issues with food quality. The only thing in my opinion that lets the side down is how loud it gets in here from people and dogs, I have no personal issue with dogs, but some owners won't take them outside if they bark which didnt happen this time but has happened in the past. If management had a rule of no "barking," dogs are allowed. This would be (in my opinion) the perfect breakfast cafe! 🙌

Chips are wonderful, so were egg baguettes and burger. Prices have jumped a bit inevitably. Beautiful location overlooking Plymouth Sound .

Can't really star the food only every had a scone and coffee there. The views from there are amazing

Very busy when we arrived. Only had beverages. Noticed most people having breakfast so that's a good sign. Views spectacular. On coastal path.

Loved the place been outside a few times but for the first time been inside. Really nice. I personally would like to have some music so the atmosphere better. Really good.

Lovely cafe,beautiful views.only issue was prices.i paid £18.40 for 2 sausage and egg baps and 2 cans of fizzy drinks.thats expensive.sorry no 5 stars for prices but 5 for everything else.

Ansome views and a great cup of coffee at a reasonable price. Shame the beach remains closed but that's not the fault of the café.

Iv just celebrated my 62nd birthday here today .there was 17 off us .we all really enjoyed it .lovely food,service, atmosphere and view .thankyou Jenny cliff cafe .a few have never been there before .but they will defo return .

Fantastic view. Great for a gresasy spoon breakfast. The English breakfast is delicious and a great selection of cakes.

Great greasey spoon at local beauty spot. Amazing views. The pasties are gorgeous and the white choc&raspberry flapjacks are lovely too (big enough to share between two). Lavazza coffee which is my favourite. Friendly staff and customers and lots of dogs!

Nice food. Needs a face-lift inside and out. Fantastic view.

Don't be put off by the outside of the café building. Inside, there's a warm atmosphere both socially and temperature-wise on a bitterly cold January day. Cappuccino and hot chocolate both very acceptable, views over the sound are excellent. Easy access with a one way system and free car park. What's not to like?

A back to basics cafe which it does well. Stunning setting and lovely owner. Very dog friendly. It's a popular meet up place. The tea is the best. I enjoy their generous portion of porridge after a chilly dog walk and Oscar loves his dog sausage. If I visit later in the day the beef stew warms one up but alas no dumpling!

First visit in many years was a very nice place. We didn't eat but enjoyed a latte, the cafe is welcoming and easy to get to.

Great all day breakfast with mug of tea! I love it here sat outside taking in the view.

Haven't been for many years but nice to return to the lovely setting. Food was fresh and tasty and served quickly; had the smaller of the two main breakfasts, but the toast cost extra making it quite expensive. Think the kitchen extractor must have been broken though as it was quite smeechy inside. Other than that, all good.

One of the worst breakfasts I've ever eaten. Everything was microwaved and looked like two day old leftovers.

I can't recommend the Jennycliff Cafe too highly! We visited last Saturday, when a Red Arrows fly past was scheduled, and they were very busy. The service was quick and cheerful, the food was excellent and well priced. Their coffee is also very good and well priced. Hold onto your cup and you can get a refill for £1.50! How good is that for a coffee addict? They are (very) dog friendly. The ambiance is like and old pair of comfortable slippers! Please support this brilliant cafe!

The cafe probably has the best view of Plymouth Sound available, with plenty of outdoor seating and benches - all clean tidy and litter free which was good to see. Free albeit lumpy car park close by. We only had drinks. Fair variety of food and drinks , cappuccino was unfortunately tepid
