Ordered delivery at 7:20pm on a Wednesday evening. We were told an hour. We then call at 8:55 to say it hasn't arrived, we get told "it's on its way with the driver". 15 minutes later (as we are only 2 minutes drive away) we call back to be told "it will be 20 minutes!" So what she was actually saying was she lied the first time when she said the driver was on his way. Appalling service and considering I'm a takeaway delivery driver I know it when I see it! Won't use again

Regular customer. Wide choice of indian, chicken and kebabs. Particularly like the chicken shish kebab and the hot chilli and garlic starters. Serve fresh indian breads. Service always polite. Good to be able to view the chefs preparing the food as you wait.

Neat efficient friendly Nepalese/Indian takeaway in Southway precinct, open 4pm until 10.30pm everyday except Monday. Part of a useful cluster of 3 or 4 differing takeaways in simple if slightly down at heel little local retail centre. As we did you can use the medium sized Co-op supermarket to get some cans to go with the takeaway. Gurkha Spice has a website but online orders are via Just Eat. We couldn't find a direct phone number but anyway we collected.

Visited here as heard great things and my son is colieac so we had the choice of gluten free pasta! We were welcomed with a rude young girl who just said your upstairs , so we took ourselves up there . No menus given or asked about dietary requirements, all very strange. The atmosphere was awful, felt awkward and unwelcoming with very weird and obnoxious music which my son said made him feel like he's in a 2014 YouTube fails montage . Great that they have gluten free pasta and pizza bases which is very rare to find . Food overall was mediocre, filled a gap but definitely nothing to rave about,Lacked flavour . !!

Have purchased from here several times - both the cake slices and celebration cakes. Most of the time the cakes are great - light and fluffy, but have been two occasions where the cake was too sweet and did not taste very fresh (seems more of an exception), but will still be purchasing nonetheless.

Second visit after such nice meals the first time, I chose the carbonara as I had this on the first visit and really enjoyed . This time it was completely tasteless. My wife and daughters meals were very salty and my granddaughter’s spaghetti bolognaise was nothing like a bolognaise with hard carrots and crunchy celery! My granddaughter has a severe food allergy and we are always worried about eating out but as we had eaten here before, and she hadn’t been poorly we were happy that she would be safe. There was nothing suitable for her in the starters section so she chose to have a dessert instead as part of the set meal. Half way through she alerted me to the fact that she had a small piece of plastic in her sorbet. I was a little bit horrified but didn’t say anything and thought,,, these things can happen. After a couple more spoonfuls and a larger piece of plastic I told the waiter and he took it off me and apologised saying it must have been from the sorbet container. No gesture of goodwill offered, not that we would necessarily have accepted but not good service and certainly WONT be going back!
