I’ve eaten in and had take out from here a fair few times . Foods always lovely and I love the spicy pork spring roll starter !

Amazing food tried something new staff was very friendly will go again!

It was my birthday and we had nine of us, the food ,service and attention was second to none, the price was also a shock so cheap and so good dont know how they do it. We will all be making this a regular night. Thanks

Ordered a takeaway via justeat....waited over 2 hours, received a call from the driver who was in the wrong place, he was told we would wait for him outside our house , he never showed up, on contacting the restaurant I was informed the driver wasnt employed by them but by an external company and they didnt have a contact number for the driver. Absolutely disgusted, demanded a full refund and will never use this restaurant again.

Thai green was very watery, paid for extra prawns and had 8 small prawns in total. Fish cakes were very rubbery. Spring rolls were really nice. B-Bar is fresher and better quality for the same price

Very tasty food, a little bit spicy for my taste but love it. Taste is balanced, vegetables, meat and noodles are also balanced. I found a new favourite restaurant ☺️

I can’t give 5 stars because there were only 4 prawns in my prawn pad thai with extra chicken. Chicken amount was ok. Noodles were loads. Taste was okay.

My son loves this place so as he was visiting mine we ordered a takeaway, however I was a bit disappointed with my food, although he enjoyed his soup and rice and fishcakes, I found my rice to be very tasteless even though it said Jasmin, it was more like plain basmati and I could not tell what meat it was supposed to be fried, as it was too thin and very bland, also, the sauce it came in, again, very bland, and no sping onion whatsoever.

Main was delicious, including extra veg. Squid starter batter was disappointing, too thick and not cooked through. Have eaten here many times and would thoroughly recommend, good value and tasty.

Calamari was like rubber and we couldn’t eat it. Rest of food not to a very high standard that we would have expected. Overall disappointing.

Food was great, prawns were forgotten in the curry, but even though it is delicious! Delivery great, on time!

Food is 10/10 as always, big portions and tastes fantastic !! Always order from here and never disappointed even when we mix it up and try new things we are always impressed!!!

Very sad, I absolutely loved boon tong dha but they have had some changes which have left me very disappointed. Maybe they are under new management.

Delivery time kept slipping until eventually the food was delivered half an hour later than the end of the original delivery window. I’d rather be given the honest answer in the first place.

Restaurant was understanding but delivery drivers so delayed. Tried to cancel but not easy to do so. Never had a problem before so very disappointed with just eat!

Ok so would I think of Exeter Street as a place to go to look for an amazing restaurant, yet here it is. Boon Tong Dha is tiny and can only cater for 16 people max. It is well worth going to though. The food is authentic, plenty of it and very reasonably priced. We have already been there 3 times this month!!! There is an extensive menu, starters such as crispy chicken wings and tempura veg are our favourites, mains the red Thai curry and Massaman curry are amazing along with lots of delicious stir fries. Chose how hot you want it but be careful if you ask for Thai Hot!!! There isn’t a bar so you need to bring your own chilled alcoholic drinks as they don’t have ice. They charge a tiny amount for corkage. We just love it.

Very small restaurant but really amazing food, the chicken from the satay and yellow curry was perfectly cooked and the pork belly was super flavourful. The service was good and its a really nice family restaurant

We ordered 2 different types of Pad Thai, and honestly speaking we couldn't tell the difference at all except one of them was very spicy. Both Pad Thai were very plain and tastless, very few ingredients and very few prawns were given with the Pad Thai. Very disappointing for the cost of the food. For this price we definitely had better expectations

Driver lied to the restaurant saying she arrived at our house, knocked on the door, called us on my mobile with no answer. When finally arrived (after she returned to the restaurant to get them to call me) she was half way down my street and had the audacity to blame us for putting the wrong delivery details on the app (check and I did not) and tell us we needed to make sure things are right when ordering. I called the restaurant and they said she was rude with them also. Food was flavoursome however crispy fish was understandably not crispy when so late. Not the restaurants fault but won't order (for delivery) again.

I love the food from Boon Tong Dha by unfortunately this time our rice and noodles were not sent, and they’d forgotten to pack this, so we only had half our order. The courier was not contactable and we could not get this delivered with our meal.

Nice meat, deep flavours in Massaman, lovely herbal Tom yam. Very tasty, very hot when it arrived too. Good value for money.

I would not get the chips again. That said everything else was incredible! Fresh and flavourful. Just amazing food.

Second time of ordering from here and again it was amazing

Had a take away from here. Food was greasy. Veggie spring rolls were very bland and no taste other than grease.

The food itself seems like it would be delicious, but the driver was an hour and a half late to pick up the order, so it had all gone cold and soggy by the time we got it :(

So happy these guys are on JustEat now. Best Thai place around, quality food.

We love ordering food from boon tong dha....the pad Thai is frickin awesome. My son has the tofu version and there is never any left overs. Make sure you pay them a visit as eating in the restaurant is such a pleasant experience. The waitress is so lovely and the owner "boots" works so hard to feed us all! It's my favourite place to eat! My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a month! Big love guys.....keep up the hard work! Love Pad Thai and green curry no veg! ❤

One of the best stir fries I've ever had and amazing sticky rice but the chicken satay seemed like frozen chicken.

This was the nicest Thai food I've had in a long time. Good quality and decent portion sizes. Delivery was near enough exact too. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

This is a small but incredibly special place . It feels very Thia with brilliant good food and amazing prices.

Seven of us had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious. We all had something different and we were all happy. The staff were helpful and good humoured. Corkage was £2. Starters were under a £5. Main dishes under £10. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to all those concerned. You should try it!

BEST thai place ever. Authentic thai food, Boon is the place we go every weekend to enjoy an amazing meal. We have been to thousand of other thai restaurants but we keep coming back to this one. Incredible!

First time in Boon Tong Dha service was lovely, nice to see chef and waitress at work behind counter. Food was amazing and the corn cakes are huge. Chicken green curry I had was one of the best I had in Plymouth. Price excellent a nice little clean restaurant will eat there again.

Ordered a take away as usual place had closed and changed hands. Ordered takeaway over the phone. When I went to collect I regretted it straight away looking at the dirty door with signs ‘ rolling’ half stuck and the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Behind the counter I could see dirty cloths, food spilling over the delivery pots onto the kitchen work surface. And it generally looked messy. There were only 2 staff the one that served me was polite and pleasant. When I got home to eat the food ( 5min drive) the chicken spring rolls were almost cold. The mains piping hot but the rice that it said was served with it was missing. My noodle meal was supposed to have a thick sauce and it was runny and the noodles were goopy. A great disappointment

Fantastic fried rice dishes, quick and friendly service, and amazingly cheap. We were staying nearby and got take out from here 3 nights in a row!

The first authentic spicy food place I ve been to in a long time. Thai spicy is really 🔥. Calamari is good as well.

Unfortunately the yellow curry was very very salty, so I didn't enjoy it. Its a shame because the reviews I read are excellent.

This wasn't just a great Thai food experience, it was an incredibly great dining experience overall. It is small, but has really nice decor that doesn't go over-the-top as many Asian restaurants do. There was only one table for four and the others are all small tables for couples, but the bigger table was available for me, my wife, and children. We were waited on by a cheerful, polite, absolutely charming young woman. The food was excellent. My kids, who like prawns and consider themselves prawn connoisseurs remarked that the prawns were so juicy and the best they'd ever had. My wife and I will return on our own for date night as the atmosphere in there is oh-so lovely, calm, and comfortable.

Just had a takeaway from this place, very disappointed! I had the Massaman curry and it looked like mushroom soup! Really odd colour and smell. Also had chicken satay for starter which had a nice flavour but was very dry. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Now Thai Thai. Same people same delicious dishes in renewed decor. A delightful Thai restaurant eat-in or take-away.. "Boon Tong Dha" hints at the mystic, supernatural or blessed character of this establishment. Simple no frills service, decor and tables. Very amiable service and not rushed. Seating for about 16 people. Popular and traditional menu options cooked by Thai national "Bute" or "Boote". (Please excuse incorrect spelling). Bute checked we were happy and comfortable even we we mixed up our orders. You can get most menu options in mild, hot or extra spicy. Possible also to BYO bottles. Other Non-alcoholic drink are available. Contrary to expectations there are no Dessert options. All in an inexpensive delight in Plymouth starry night economy. Thank you Bute and staff for a fine evening meal.
