Thai Cafe at marina bar in Plymouth

We used the bar area for a wake. The whole team were understanding, relaxed, professional with great communication. I can't praise them enough. I was allowed to put photos up and personalise the space. Thank you Marina Bar for making an emotional day so much easier.

Brilliant service and beers from Josh, a good atmosphere and everyone seemed happy to be there. Will definitely come again, also the carvery was excellent. Definitely recommend

A warm comfortable environment with pleasant staff . I rescently saw my friends band Jurasic Punk there on a Thursday evening and enjoyed being there . Thankyou . 👍

We went for a roast and were not disappointed. The food was hot and visible. Roasties tasted like refries but the young man's service was excellent.

Perfect breakfast venue, chilled vibe, gorgeous view and a high quality beautifully cooked breakfast and cracking coffee. Gorgeous start to the day!

This place is an absolute Gem. The Sunday carvery is as good as you can get, as well as being fantastic value. A special mention must be made for the beef, which was as good a roast as anywhere. But the staff and atmosphere they creat just finishes of a great time.

Lovely food and friendly service. Great location with lovely views. Good music nights. Great atmosphere.

Had the 'Deckhand' breakfast. Good quality and nicely cooked for a fair price. The service was polite and friendly. One of the better breakfasts around Plymouth. The menu prices are for spring '24. Only open Thursday to Sunday.

The breakfast was good quality food at a very competitive price, less than £10 for 2 good sized sausages, 2 thick rashers of bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 eggs, beans and mushrooms. Coffee was reasonable for a pub too. This is definitely a place I'll be revisiting.

First visit for a carvery and it was a thumbs up from us all. It was delicious will definitely be back for round two .

Didn't eat, friendly enough place , with Bullet, great live music, just a shame the pillars obscure the live band a bit.

This amazing lil pub on the corner has slowly but surely started to become my local. The staff here always make sure you have a drink in hand and a smile on ya face. Always some fun and exciting going on with amazing live music here almost every night night that it's opened! And don't even get me started on the summer days when you can chill and drink in lovely weather and with the amazing views of the harbour, you need to come here. Last but not least at all is the amazing carvery that's made every Sunday. Boy get booked in and come here. You will not regret it.

Good friendly and always has good music on Sunday

Just had a Sunday Roast Carvery. And I just wanted to say it was delicious loads of meat and great choice of vegetables all hot I must say. We will definitely be going back. Also friendly staff. Thank you 👍

I normally love this place. Used to go to Salsa classes here and couldn't fault it. However, work hired for a small award ceremony and we were in the bar behind the main one downstairs. They had love music on at the same time. No microphones for the presenters to use and bar staff declined to stall the music whilst speeches were happening. We could not hear a thing. Very sad.

The Loft. verything about this place was really good, food was excellent, service a tad slow but it was a wedding reception and there were a 100 guest. A great venue for a wedding. My only complaint was my niece who has Chrones disease was assured that the pudding she was eating, was gluten, dairy and lactose free within 10 minuets my neice was seriously ill and had to leave her cousins wedding, I checked with my neice the next day who was too ill to travel back to mullion, this could have been a lot more serious, Allergies should be taken seriously.

Good live music and a relaxed atmosphere, tucked away in a quiet corner. There are outside tables which are nice for the coming months.

I attended a party here with my daughter. The barman was friendly, the decor is plain and basic and all very wooden... with wooden flooring, beams, bar and furniture. A good point to mention is that the ladies' toilets were clean, always a pleasant surprise! If drink prices weren't so high, over £12 for two G&Ts, I would stroll down Vauxhall Street and visit again, but sadly too expensive for me to enjoy in the present financial climate. Might be too expensive for others as well, as when we went outside around 10.15pm there wasn't one person in the public bar area!

I was here to perform at an openmic night, and I stuffer with social anxieties. I didn't! Everyone was very welcoming, staff and clientele equally, and made the night very enjoyable! 😘👌 Now they have a piano ❤️❤️❤️ Edit - Google has been telling me to re review the place, it's still class! 👌🙌❤️💕

We go to the loft . Which is a lovely venue

Karaoke on a Saturday night is alot of fun, although i was only a spectator 😆. Had a lovely Sunday lunch here yesterday. Stayed for the live music between 5 - 7, the band were amazing too. Landlord and staff are friendly, I would definitely recommend the Marina Bar.

We've been here a few times, the food portions are generous, the chef is excellent and the owner very friendly. Even in times like we are currently living through if you are in or visiting Plymouth you should pay a visit, you will not regret it.

Warm welcome, good service drinks not too easy on the pocket, however the environment and location justify. Food served from Greek Soul Kitchen was just fabulous and it's a definate return for us 🤗

FUEl Takeaway - Never again. I regretfully find myself writing this review as not only was chicken not cooked through but I received a poor response. I have a photo but it's not pretty to add. I was expected to be 'fobbed' off with the 'customer is always right', rather than a sincere apology or actually being committed to resolving the situation. We spent more than the average for a take away, to be put off, if we received good service we would have been back for more. We had to take the chicken out of 4 bbq box meals. I have given the owner 2 days to respond. It is not enjoyable writing a negative review during these times but I will be not recommending to family and friends. It seems the negative reviews are plentiful just harder to find as under Marina Bar, also the fan base is from credible charity work rather than good food and customer service.

Amazing food and great staff well worth a visit

Just ordered takeout from Fuel catering for my partners 30th birthday lockdown 2.0 style. And omg we couldn’t have picked a better place to order from. The food was outstanding and amazing portion sizes especially for my (I don’t want any of that posh sized portions) partner. Thank you for making our evening complete.

Nice enough food, shockingly bad service. Food was brought quickly but we were left without cutlery for about 10 minutes while the food went .cold Carvery was nice enough but a bit stingy for the price and the lamb on the carvery was more fat and gristle than meat. No check back during our meal and we didn't get seen to for about 20 minutes after we had finished when we finally called someone over (other people were being seated and it was pretty obvious we had finished). Our dessert then took an age to come out and there was clearly no communication as a different member of staff came over to take our dessert order again 15 minutes after we'd placed our initial order. Won't be coming back, plenty of other places to get a roast in plymouth that have much better service.

Lovely place for a Sunday roast. Great location, delicious food and excellent service. Veggie option really tasty. My carnivorous husband was equally happy with his meal.

Great pub. Went here after our Christmas meal and loved the atmosphere. Good range of drinks, good music and really good vibe. Would definitely go back with a big group not pop in for a few drinks at the weekend. Loved it.

Visited when down visiting family, the guy who served me called Lee was more interested in getting my phone number than dealing with my complaint! Food was nice but put off visiting again due to the slim ball working there

Visited Fuel inside the Marina Bar, the food is AMAZING! always producing quality food, specials are changed daily and posted on Instagram but are also available at the bar. I also ordered a week's worth of food boxes and they were absolutely delicious. You choose what you want in them and it's £21 for 5 boxes, saved me a lot of time in the evenings with sorting meals out!
